It is cheap to stay here, compared to other places in the neighborhood, it is relatively clean but very worn down and not well maintained. The service is ok that is it. Parking area is tiny but existent. Don't t expect much and you will get an affordable place otherwise you will be disappointed.

When you pay peanuts..

My brother and I stayed two nights to go snowboarding at Heavenly. My brother booked this place and we paid $257 for two nights on a Fri. and Sat. That is pretty cheap for the area. The parking was awkward as you had to back out to get out because you couldn't drive through and the parking spots are angled. The room was older with patched walls, but overall seemed clean; however when I went to bed, my pillow had several strands of long dark hair (mine is blond). My brother pulled back his sheets and found hair as well. In the bathroom, the window was left open and when my brother got a towel, a wasp fell out-alive. Needless to say we were both grossed out and so my brother went to talk to the lady at the front desk. She was super nice, but her response to our experience  was that they would try better next time. There will be no next time for me as I will not be staying here again.

The place was clean and the front desk staff friendly.  That's all I can say for the place.  The room was tiny.  Amenities nearly non-existent.  No ice maker on premises, not even a freaking phone in the room - and cell service (at least Verizon) barely works and only intermittently.  We couldn't call out to get a dinner reservation.  They do offer free wi-fi, but as best I can tell it runs on a 2800 baud modem from the 1980s.  The door locks are also a joke.  Old residential doorknob locks with standard keys.  Anyone could have run down to Safeway and had a copy made and come back and rip you off, or worse.

Oh and the parking/driveway is one way, but they don't plow the exit at the far end.  I nearly took my bumper off every time I tried to get out of the lot making a bunch of tight back and fill turns to go out the entrance.

If you want a bare bones room and get a cheap price, this place would probably be fine for a night or two, but having been dinged for full bore on the week between Christmas and New Year I was totally ripped off, especially since there were vacancy signs all up and down Highway 50 in both directions from this place.

Don't Book Unless Desperate or a HUGE Discount

This place deserves 5 stars. Not only did they accept us after midnight when we had to pack up and leave another place, they threw in the kitchenette for free because they didn't have any rooms without one left and knew we probably wouldn't be able to pay for it. 
The guy behind the desk was so easy to talk to, the room was clean and cosy and we felt completely safe!! Thankyou! 

Saved us from a terrible experience elsewhere

We had a terrible experience un another motel in NLT and found this one to be very clean, quiet, and run by very friendly people.

We stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed the place.

A bit far from most of the local nightlife, but a few restaurants in the area.

Recommended!
