I needed a comfortable, clean, pest-free place to stay for an evening while in Southern Pines, and this Econo Lodge was a terrific experience.  The room was a great value!  I will surely use this hotel again on my next stay in the area!  A grocery was a mile away, and a few restaurants.  Nice people too during the check-in and check-out process!

Terrific value!!

We stayed 3 nights while in town for the US OPEN golf tournament. We were very pleased with the accommodations, the friendly and welcoming couple that own and run the EconoLodge.  They were very helpful in providing us information on where it get a late night dinner when we arrived on Wednesday and best transportation options to Pinehurst for the golf tournament.
Rooms were clean, daily room service. Rooms were comfortable and provided minimal amenities. We had a double , Which had a desk, microwave and mini fridge.AC worked great!  Beds and pillow comfortable 
Safe location. Big lighted parking lot.
Breakfast offered, simple and light, just enough for us as we headed off to the tournament for the day
The price of rooms were higher than normally priced, due to the US OPEN golf tournament, however, all area hotels prices were up.
We were pleased with our accommodations.

Best Value for our stay during US OPEN golf

I stayed here for a week May 12 - May 18, 2024. I work remotely from home and wanted to just get away from home for this week because guests were coming in and i wanted somewhere quiet and figured that this place has great reviews. I honestly found this place to be more than i expected, the owners were very very helpful and lovely indian couple. During my check-in I told them that i am just going to spend all day working and ask if my room comes with a desk that i can work on and they they said no but offered a double bedroom which came with a desk and they also told me that room service is mandatory and i would have to leave for a few minutes for that. The room and the whole place is SUPER CLEAN which i really honestly admire so very much. Not only that, every single morning as soon as i walk out of my room to get breakfast the room service would ask me if it they can clean my room until i come back from breakfast even if they were in the middle of cleaning other rooms so my work would not be disrupted during the day. I really appreciate that so very much and every time i got back from breakfast or whatever i always get a cleaner room and work throughout the day. The other thing i admire about this place is how quite and peaceful and safe the place is, its really nice if you want to just get away and spend some quiet and peaceful time with yourself. Breakfast was also okay i mean for the price you pay i'd say it is definitely fair. I saw a many people say "you get what you paid for" and i agree with that but considering the whole service and what i described from my personal experience, i can say that i really got more than what i paid for and i am very happy with that. I would absolutely stay here again if there is an opportunity to do so and i highly recommend this place to anyone.

Great value, safe, quiet, clean, has that calming effect :)

Family-run motel that is very well taken care of.  Affordable.  Breakfast was adequate.  Room had everything including fridge, microwave, ironing board, coffee maker.

Quiet, clean, safe, good value

Super nice family that run a very clean and well maintained hotel. Continental breakfast served in the main office. Nice and clean and hit the spot. Will definitely definitely stay here again! The rooms above the office are very spacious and clean!

Helping our Daughter Move to the Area

The worst place I canceled my reservation,  the front desk lady was rude, and very unprofessional. 
She was talking on her cell. And became aggressive with me when I asked if it was possible to have an early check in .  Because I had 2 dogs and it was 98o outside.   She ignored me, continued to talk on her cell phone then went into another room and closed the door 

Run away

This hotel was off the road, which we love, because it is quieter and peaceful. The landscaping at this hotel was beautiful!  It is an older hotel, super clean and has some charm, not cookie cutter style. The staff were super nice! Breakfast was good and rooms comfortable.

Give older hotels a try!

Avoid this hotel if you are travelling with pets or value your privacy.  Fine print policy is to take your pets with you when you leave the room even though you have to pay $25 per pet per night.  This is not practical, especially in hot weather as it is not safe to leave a pet in a hot car.  On top of this, Hotel Attendant said they watch for you to leave and then check your room to see if you complied with the policy even if you put the no housekeeping sign on the door which is just creepy.  Went to one of the many other hotels in the area with more practical policies.  

Avoid this hotel if you are travelling with pets or value your privacy.

My husband and I wanted to come a day ahead to be in the area in order to attend a program nearby, and we stayed here for one night. 

We enjoyed our visit and we would choose to come and stay here again.

Glad to stay here

We had a 2 room suite, at the end of the hotel. There’s a living room/kitchenette, and a large quiet king bedroom. The first thing you’ll notice is how pleasant checkin goes. We arrived at our room, and it was Spotless! It’s so nice to enter a room, and not find stains on the tables, and everything being well maintained. Both TVs, and fridge and microwave in great working order.
