Place was well appointed. Only complaint was bed was not that good.  Very updated and unit was great. Would go again.  Nice views and great location. Had a wine cooler. Was here for weekend for a wedding.

This "resort" is a pretender. It would like to be lots of things that it isn't. I'm just back from a week there with my family. 
Pros: 
Apartments are large enough to spread out.  One queen and two twins.
Our unit had one bedroom on the waterfront and one on the parking lot. Call and check as units have lots of configurations.
Beds were comfy.
A/C was strong
Cons:
This venue is Very overpriced.
A $50 daily resort fee for ... nothing. There's a pool. Period.
It's a secret that there is NO housekeeping. You can't request it. It isn't available. Be prepared to carry your garbage down 2 or 3 flights and haul it to the dumpster.
Towels are only exchanged every 3 days...which is also a secret. We (and others) ended up using the pool towels for showering.
The pool is very small and super packed all day long.
Also a secret...there will be two or three flights up to your room. No elevators. No help with luggage.
No ice available.
Our unit had many small maintenance issues. Doors that wouldn't open, shower not working. Since they're individually owned everyone seems to have different issues.
There's no TV. There are smart TVs which don't work without YOUR passwords for Amazon, Netflix etc. Cheesy. 
Another secret, there are deals for free nights that some people got on Air BNB. You would never know this from their website.

All in all we felt ripped off and will not likely return.

An Odd Property

Over priced with CI 5:00 ridiculous CO 10:00 unheard of. Cracked floor tiles in bathroom. Rude CI help, if you could find them.  Coffee maker did not work, could not get food delivered to condos unless you used a delivery service.  Toilets were fit for children not adults, lousy tv selection all fake news.  Would never recommend this place

Great wedding horrible accommodations

This past weekend I made reservations for 2 couples to stay at the Cliffside in order to attend a wedding we are attending nearby.   When I booked the reservation I indicated that we were 2 couples and wanted 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. We were shock at the accommodations. One bedroom had a double bed and the other had 2 bunk beds and a twin.  Now remember these rooms were for 2 married couples. This was not acceptable.  Why are you puttIng adults in bunk beds? A large man over 6’ and more than 200 lbs is not going to fit in a child’s bunk bed. After several attempts and leaving several messages, I finally received a call back from Jade who told me there was no guarantee that we would get 2 Queen beds. I told her this was not what I was  told and if I knew we would have a room with bunk beds, I never would have booked there.  Advertised as a luxury hotel this is far from it!  Your customer service is less than acceptable. What a terrible accommodation you gave us. All others we spoke to who stayed at the Cliffside were give queen beds. So we were lied to. How in the world do you expect a 200 lb. man to sleep in a child’s bunk bed? For the price we paid for this so called luxury resort I am appalled. Additionally, the mattresses were terrible, extremely soft and mushy, only half the shower head worked in one of the bathrooms, there are no mirrors with the exception of a medicine cabinet mirror. Hardly able to look in that mirror when attempting to get dressed for a wedding. After all you did block these rooms for a wedding. The flooring is lumpy and this unit is less than adequate. Not a LUXURY resort! Plus you require 2 nights of miserable stay. The couple who accompanied us left immediately after the wedding as they could not stand one more night on bunk beds. I requested that the resort comp us one night so that I could reimburse the other couple. This request was denied. I will say that we received a 10% discount. Hardly worth it as the room was almost $1000 for 2 nights. Thank you for ruining a weekend that should have been enjoyable and beautiful.

Do Not Stay Here!

Pretty location and the buildings looked newly renovated, but once we got settled in there were a number of issues.  The biggest one was that the shower in the master bathroom didn't work.  We tried calling and got no response.  Good thing there were 2 bathrooms in the unit.

The kitchenette was an afterthought.  Aluminum baking pans, but no oven, and a microwave but no microwavable dishes.  Ancient looking cook top and dishwasher crammed into the space that both looked like they were about to fall apart.  

There was no cable TV service for the entire time we were there.  Cell phone reception was poor.  They had free Wi Fi, but it wasn't secure.

The walls must have been paper thin because we could hear everything going in the unit next to and above ours.  

The only lighting in the living/dining room were the can lights in the ceiling and they were very bright - no dimmer switch. 

It was OK, but for the price I was expecting something better.

Average Accommodations at Premium Prices

While in a great location, there is road noise if you are  in a building not near the ocean.  The pool closes @7p during peak season, which is kind of lame. If you leave a voicemail after hours, the front desk does not call you back. Our neighbors are extremely loud during early am & late pm hours. Opening & closing their sliding doors about 10-15x a night.  What happened to common courtesy?! 
Furniture being put into other units blocked our exit/entrance. Lots of giant cardboard in the way. The daily rate is extremely high to be considered luxury to have no response to simple requests. 

If paying a-lot of money per night, I expect better service  and amenities. 
I would not stay here again.

Lots of money for mediocre hotel

Not Clean. Do not take COVID-19 seriously. As soon as I walked in there was a smiley face on the wall made of maxi pads. Picture attached. 
Some back story: I have been coming to the Cliffside resort and Condominiums for the past 8 years. I have loved going there and it became a family tradition to go every Labor Day weekend. I have recommended and brought several families there. Last year the young girl at the front desk made an error and gave me a discount on the rooms I booked because she accidentally gave me a mid week offer. Management was extremely angry. When I booked this year they made a point to mention this. Now I know they have offers. Whenever I book I always ask if there are any offers as I am a returning customer usually booking 2-3 condos at a time. I am usually told no and I pay full price like everyone else. I was surprised about the price I received from the girl at the desk and actually questioned it when I booked last year. She told me “no this is the price.” So I continued booking 3 condos. Wouldn’t you? Management told me I “Took advantage of the girl.” I own a business as well and that was not taking advantage especially since I asked her to confirm the price since it sounded low to me as well. It is poor management and poor training. But why not blame the customer instead.
After finding the maxi pad smiley face on the wall while unloading my car with our luggage (at 7:30pm, check in is at 4:00pm) I called the main office and stopped unloading. Left a message on their emergency extension. I found their maintenance/groundskeeper walking by our room and told him what I found. He wanted to come up with me to see it. When he saw what was left he could not believe it. First he was angry at housekeeping for missing it. Then he said someone must have come into the room after housekeeping cleaned it. Now this is concerning. Someone can access the room after they leave? 
He calls his manager who offers to give us another room in another building. I paid over 2K to be on the water. They apparently did not have a comparable room available so I asked if they could please have housekeeping come back and clean the room. I wanted to be there to ensure that they did a sufficient job. Manager apologized gave a small discount and said she would send housekeeping.
Housekeeping comes (two women) and go up to the room. They rip the maxi pads off the wall and say oh these are clean here touch them. NO THANKS. Then they wiped the wall down and wanted to leave. I explained that I have three kids staying one of which is an 8 month old. I want them to wipe down all the surfaces again and the bathrooms. I feel uncomfortable since this was left in the room. I also took my own cleaning supplies that I brought to help them clean so we could go faster. It was now 8 pm and the 8 month old had yet to eat and her bedtime is 8:30 pm. 
I was told "the room is f***ing clean. This is like a hotel. If you do not like it you should have stayed home." I explained that like a hotel you clean after the previous guests and after finding the maxi pads on the wall I did not feel confident that the room was cleaned properly or if what they said were true that someone came into the room after they cleaned who knows what else that person did other than leave maxi pads on the walls. They used some spray in an unmarked bottle and only wiped down the wall where the maxi pads were found. Then they used the same towel to wipe the floor in the living room area only. When I began wiping down the counters I was told "why am I cleaning it you are doing it?" I said I am helping so we can move faster. They then opened one of the bathrooms and said to their Supervisor (Ralph) "this is clean. This is stupid. We cleaned. This room is f***ing clean." They did not clean anything else other than the wall and a small area of the floor in the living room and the coffee table in the living room. They actually used the same towel they used on the floor to wipe down the coffee table (which I recleaned). I kept asking them to help me clean while they were yelling that the room was clean. Ralph their supervisor told them I know it is clean she is crazy. The room is f***ing clean. He then asked me "how many times have you put maxi pads on a wall to get a discount?" I could not believe he said that. My response was "wow what great customer service to accuse a returning customer for the past 8 year of this. Are you kidding me?" I was then told to "go f*** yourself I know about you always looking for a discount" They then left and I spent the next 2 hours cleaning and disinfecting the condo. I found a maroon stain by the bathroom door, fingerprints and crumbs all over the kitchen table, dirt on the walls throughout the condo. I would have left if my kids were not crying about how they wanted to stay as we have been looking forward to this trip. 
I spoke to management again, who apologized for their behavior but also told me “They do not need to like you and can feel anything they want about you but they should not have said those things to you.” I also explained that I felt that Eileen (the manager who takes reservations who was angry about what happened last year) told housekeeping about the situation and that is why they accused me of doing that. I told this manager (Jade) to not provide me with any credit for this stay and to also charge me whatever they felt I should have paid last year for the room so that they do not hold that against me. She said she was not able to do that. I was adamant and persistent but she still said no. 
We were looking forward to staying here as we know this place. Have been here for the past 8 years and felt safe to go there during these times with COVID-19. We expected that they would be taking precautions due to the pandemic and performing a more deep and thorough cleaning. We also assumed that the staff would be wearing masks as well. This was not the case. If my kids were not crying when I told them I wanted to go home we would have left. The only reason why I stayed was because I did not want to ruin a family trip my children had been looking forward to.

Unprofessional, no Customer Service, and not taking COVID 19 seriously

We were there for the thanksgiving weekend. The place was OK, everything working well. However, all the closets were full with someone else stuff so we could not use them. Besides, the office was closed during our two first days

My real issue with this place is that they charge you a resort fee. I could understand they do it in the summer to cover the swimming pool costs but in the winter?   All the things they describe as being covered by the fee are basic amenities in any motel (heating, A/C, wifi, parking). There was not even a fitness room or access to ice cubes! Besides, the access to the beach is broken (the stairs seems to have been destroyed by the waves) and nobody took care of telling us in advance while it might have impacted our choice when making the reservation. 

So all in all I find this place is just trying to lure customer by making cheaper price but then compensates by making them pay abnormal fee for basic services.

By the way, despite the fee, our room was not cleaned once over those 5 days...

Beautiful place but a number of issues

The location was ideal with beautiful views.  If I had visited in summer the pool and balcony deck would have been perfect. Since I was arriving later in the afternoon the check in was simple and done over the phone.

But the bed configuration wasn't what was presented when booking the condo resulting in 1 person having to sleep on the couch.  Was supposed to be 1 queen, one room with 2 twins that could be pushed together and a pull out couch.  Instead there was 1 queen room, 1 room with a twin and bunk beds and just a couch in the living room (not a pull out).  There were no shades / blinds on most of the windows allowing the sun to shine in bright and early in the morning.  No cable in the master bedroom so TV was useless, leaving us with only the living room TV for all to watch together and not the best seating for comfortable TV viewing (1 couch and 2 wooden outdoor type chairs).  Plus the others in my group wanted to watch TV but they were sitting on my bed (the couch).  Bottom line if you have people who have difficulty sleeping (can't share room with the snoring person) make sure to ask questions about the unit you will be assigned as not all have the beds configured as presented during the booking process.

Really enjoyable but not what was represented when booking

I stayed in a small two bedroom. I booked through Hotels.com and some of their description was wrong. It’s a nice place, but for the price I was expecting a condo with kitchen and washer/dryer. It has a half fridge, a two burner stove and a toaster. The pool was closed already on Sept 11 even though it was 85 degrees. Check in was between 4 and 5, and on my way there at 4:09 they were already calling me to find out where I was, yet when I got there, they gave me no info about the condo, just the number and door code. When I got in the condo, the A/C was off so I had to go back to the office to find out how to turn it on. When I checked out and mentioned that I thought there would be a washer/dryer, the office told me they were in the basement of each building. Thanks for nothing regarding information. But, the location is very convenient to the Ferry, Greenport and all the wineries. Oh, and there are no elevators as Hotels.com says.
