Perfect place to gather for a long weekend with your friends. The place has really spiffed up lately and the staff is so helpful!
We will be back soon for the spectacular sunset and fresh salt air.

Girlfriend retreat

right across street from Southold beach. Room was a good size.  The rooms had very old beds however.   Box springs hurt.   Bring your own pillows.   Shower was good.  Fridge in room.   A/C worked fine.   Just the beds are older and if you like memory foam then this is not your place.   Owner

Southold Beach

You can’t get any closer to the beach without being wet. But between this quaint little beautifully maintained and upgraded motel in the sand and surf lies a very busy highway. And you hear more traffic than surf.

Units one through 10 face the beach and have significant highway noise. But other units are tucked back a bit farther from the road (and the Beach) and are probably much quieter.

The rooms are just fine and come complete with kitchenette if you really want to do your own cooking while on vacation. Cable TV and decent enough Wi-Fi if you really can’t unplug.

Front desk clerk Amy is most helpful and the rooms were absolutely spotless.

Close to the beach but even closer to the highway.

Had a very nice stay here. Staff is great. Room was clean and loved having a refrigerator with freezer (to re-freeze ice packs), microwave and coffee maker. The view from our room was spectacular, especially the sunsets.
The patio had a table and chairs plus umbrella. Lovely sitting outside to watch the gorgeous sunset.
The road in front of the motel is heavily trafficked but it did not keep us from having a wonderful night's sleep. If you have a favorite pillow, bring it. I'm used to my supportive pillow. When we go back, and we will, I'll bring my own pillow. Otherwise, no complaints about the beds. A/C worked well and the bathroom, though somewhat small, was completely doable. 
Location, location, location! The motel is the perfect location for visiting many of the Northfork vineyards. Proximity is within 5 to 20 minutes from some of the best wineries. Sparkling Pointe, One Woman, Pugliese and Raphael's have some excellent wines. For spectacular settings, try Pugliese, Sparkling Pointe and Raphael's. Don't pass up One Woman Winery. Though small, the wines were excellent. 
We thank the staff, for their hospitality. Won't hesitate to return.

Perfect Location

I have been coming for years.  Upuli has been always friendly and accommodating each time I visit.  Upuli was always available each time I needed something. I feel like family when I am there.  Beach is right across the street which is perfect.

Great view, clean and friendly staff

We spent 2 nights and it was just the perfect place. We were able to get their last room. It's just across the street from the Southold town beach. Everyone there was so kind. It was convenient to all the wineries, breweries, shopping and restaurants.

A few days on the North Fork

Spent the weekend here and it was WONDERFUL!  Quiet, clean and convenient to everything Southold.  Great views of the Sound, which is directly across the street. The Manager was so nice and went the extra mile for our late check in.  I will definitely be coming back!

FABULOSE STAY!

We traveled to Southold, NY for a family funeral.. We were lucky enough to get reservations at the Southold Beach Motel. A small, Lovely facility directly across from the beach on the Long Island Sound. Wonderful view and located very conveniently to the town of Southold. The staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Picnic tables with umbrellas out side each room facing the beach, BBQ grills in the back. We thoroughly Loved our stay and highly recommend it for any visits to the area . It had a very homey feeling and Very Comfortable bed's. We LOVED our stay ... and the price was right !!

LOVELY SOUND VIEW MOTEL

This is the perfect little beach motel! It’s close to everything, including the beach (right across the street)! Upuli was so gracious and accommodating with us. We needed to check in early to get ready for a wedding and our room was better than we anticipated! It had a mini fridge, sink, stove top and cabinets stocked with dishware! The room was clean and quietly tucked away. 

We had to leave early due to an emergency and Upuli was so gracious and although we couldn’t get our money back she said that I should contact her if I ever want to come back and she could see about helping us with rates. 

I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation! Highly recommend staying here!

Quaint, clean, and adorable!

I stayed here with a group of friends for my sister's bachelorette weekend and we had the most fabulous time. The location of the motel is DIRECTLY across the street from a beautiful pebble beach and the rooms we stayed in faced the beach and had front access to the beach and back access to a porch/garden area. The location was also perfectly central to the wineries and towns with great restaurants and shops. The hotel management and cleaning staff were terrific and very friendly. Each room also had a kitcheonette complete with microwave, fridge, and stove, which was very nice to have. Nice sized bathroom and comfy beds. I would recommend this place for a beach weekend getaway or a group vacay like we did!
