They deleted my original post!  Because I shared pics…. Here you go!  Just left days ago! 

Please read BEFORE booking here!  Rosie (Manager) is definitely a nice person willing to assist you with all your booking needs BUT… I just don’t believe she is NOT aware of the POOR property amenities/rooms based on what is shown online. These pictures are definitely older than 20 years!  My father went and looked (and partly our fault), as he wanted us to stay 5 mins from him… we had the Brickyard room as I had my grandkids with me (larger room). There are two workers who live on the premises that look very suspect, trying to get you to buy stuff from them that they made.  We could smell marijuana coming from their room. In our room one of the door locks was broken (kids put table next to door at night), bathroom door does NOT lock, one window pane broken out (windows so old they have the little panes), someone painted (years ago) and walked all over floor and tracks of white paint on floor…. Floor so old when one person moves, everyone looks!  Beds are so antiquated and squeaks at every move also!  One bed is completely sunk in (mattress) The blankets were something to be desired!  The railings to go upstairs are very loose!  This room should NOT even be considered for use at all!!! Oh and the WORST part… medication was missing from our room!!!! So PLEASE lock/secure any and all items. (Workers have keys to enter).  And before you ask, I had a conversation with Rosie and the OWNER regarding all these concerns! I would have left day one but my Dad paid cash for the stay and we were stuck! The fish pond outside is a joke!  Poor fish and shame on them. The driveway is horrible also!  This whole Inn needs to be closed and gutted out to include the on-site workers!

False Advertisement of pics

The website pictures and pricing made it seem like a dream come true for our wedding reception. But…. It was a huge disappointment and waste of time. I would highly suggest you visit the ‘Inn’ before booking. It does NOT look like it does in the pictures. And they will not honor the prices listed either.

The property is in desperate need of repair.

I stayed at Speedway Legacy Inn during 2019 Indy 500 weekend. It was definately the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

I was welcomed by Rosy who gave me free water and soda. They hosted a barbacue at night for everybody in the hotel during Indy 500 weekend. It was a such pleasant way to end every day. Rosy and her husband are the most welcoming and kind hostesses I’ve ever seen. They do everything to male you feel glad and warm welcomed. The beakfast was delicious as well as the dinner. They even took me and the other guests to the airport.

The room I got was very confortable and had all amenities someone needs, like a big fridge, clean and spacious bathroom and a queen-size bed, which was very confortable indeed. 

The hotel is located close to the track. You can easily reach the track within 20 walking. There are plenty of other stuff close to it, like restaurants, supermarket, etc.

Well, I don’t have enough word to say how thankful I am to Rosy and all her family. For those who come to Indy to watch races I can guarantee you there is no better place than the Legacy Inn.

Best Hotel Experience ever.

Nice and comfortable place. Excellent attention! They offered me delicious and generous breakfasts. All the guest also had a master barbecue one night. I felt in family! 
I stayed here during MotoGp in August 2015 and I totally recommed it!

Excellent during MotoGp 2015

The inn was sort of plopped in the middle of a neighborhood- but that wasn't a bad thing! There was a good size fridge and microwave as well as a smart tv in our room. It was a great size and we were very comfortable. There is even a stocked guest fridge with water, soda and yogurts to help yourself to.

The very best part was the staff. Everyone was delightful, friendly and incredibly helpful. I would absolutely recommend this to others.

Indy 500

This place is dirty, the staff are liars, chair covers had holes in them, stains on walls, ceiling fans dirty, the only bathroom we where allowed to use had no soap and a dirty hand towel to dry hands, refrigerator that we was told we could use was filthy and had old food in it. It was finally half cleaned by the staff...Customer service at this place was HORRIBBLE it was mainly from one employee that was upset because she lied and was caught in her multiple lies. I could go on and on about how bad this place sucks, but I'm tired of writing. Oh by the way the rooms which I looked at a couple of months prior are very poor quality, they are out dated and dirty.

We went there after reading wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor.  Pictures looked fabulous. But......it was nothing like the representation! First, they tried to give us a lesser room than we had reserved. We did then, get a room inside, upstairs, that at first glance looked and smelled better than the first room.  However, the entire place was dirty.  The pillowcases had black marks on them, no bedspread at all, the sheets were not crisp making me think they were also not clean. The carpet was full of lint and dirt. The bathroom had a dirty rag on one of the pipes by the toilet. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Toilet was not working properly, took half an hour to refill. First breakfast was cold, mushy french toast, next was a bowl of fruit in the kitchen that we helped ourselves to, the third was going to be leftovers from a party the night before. We went to Denny's. The place needs some Good Staff.
It was close to the speedway, we went there for the Red Bull Air Races.
We really liked the city of Indianapolis though..
