It has been awhile but in spring of 2022 (I had to put 2023 date to post) we stayed there and had an absolutely bizarre occurrence...I have not written before now because we have been working with attorney and police but to no avail.  We checked in 3pm approx.  Asked the front desk for the name of a pizza place as we were going to get pizza and visit friends.  Upon return several hours later all our belongs from our room were gone except my toothbrush.  The ground floor window was open (we did not open it but we did not check it was locked either).  The security cameras were not working (unbeknownst to us before), and the key fob was not working.  We discovered all these malfunctions when the police arrived.   The police were very suspicious of employees and mixed stories on site but could not confirm anything.  Two days later I received a phone call from the hotel that all my items were returned...that someone brought them to the back door said they "didn't want trouble"...nothing made sense...also a story about  a maid that cleaned the wrong room (at 3pm?). Long story short, our friends went to the hotel and retrieved our items (which included a laundry basket of clothes that were not ours) and shipped it to us as we had to leave the next morning. (yes laundry basket included).  Not "all" items were returned, electronics of course were missing (Surface, chargers and Kindle).  My husband spent days without his important cpap, he had to sleep sitting up to breathe, there were no cpaps available at that time to buy a new one. And we had great inconvenience replacing pills, clothes and so on.  I am an online instructor and instead of having my Surface, for the next two weeks on our trip I had to stay up late and use hotel computers after arrival, then drive the next day.  Hard costs $2k plus.  
The hotel did nothing towards reimbursing us for our inconvenience nor expense. We called immediately and set up Choice Hotel Corporate Case #10706398.
Then spoke with Terrance Hotel customer service, he will “escalate.” Later calls, (25 minutes on hold, then cut off, rang 5 minutes , 23 calls ahead.  Emailed form choicehotel.com/support.  No response. Repeat calls/support, no response often no answer. Roberto in customer service said to call when investigation done. I did. Rika said that her supervisor said there will be no compensation.  End report. I would sleep in my car before going back there.  I will never tell a desk clerk we are stepping out for awhile, nor stay on ground floor.  And I since have always checked that the security system is working...

We were robbed there

The check in was great. There is an elevator. The room was large. The bathroom was fine though the shower was a bit weird like it was not really stable. The water pressure was not at all normal. The breakfast was free and had your standard fare of eggs, sausage and biscuit and gravy which was very tasty. Cereal and muffins also. All in all this was a safe, decent place to stay.

Pretty Good Hotal!

I do not recommend this hotel. I stayed here for business a few years ago and it was quite good. Since then it has really gone downhill. Here are the specifics on this trip:
- The key card continually demagnetized between morning and evening, though I was carrying it with other similar cards that did not demagnetize. 
- The showerhead in my bathroom was broken and just jerry-rigged together, so I couldn't get under it. It took two days of reminding the front-desk staff in order to get it fixed. 
- The mattress was very thin and incredible uncomfortable. I got up every morning with a horrible backache. 
- The minifridge in the room had ice in the freezer section. The first night I put a salad in the refrigerator section and it froze. So I turned up the temperature just a bit, and for the next 4 days, the ice that had built up in the freezer section melted and ruined everything I put in there. 
- The internet connection was unstable. 
- The "business office" had a computer and printer. Neither worked. After I inquired, they finally put up a sign saying "out of order." 
- Housekeeping cleared out the towels every day -- there was no option to hang the towels up and reuse them in order to reduce water consumption. 
- With one notable exception, all the front-desk staff was defensive and unresponsible when asked for help with any of these problems. There was sort of a "not my problem" attitude. 

In summary, I will not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to anyone else.

Don't stay here.

So I travel a LOT and am a platinum trip advisor reviewer status. I had planned a mother/daughter night away for my 78 year old mom and myself (54 years old)  I checked into this hotel on 8/20/22 because they had a HOT TUB and breakfast was included. It was $100 plus $14 tax so not cheap!! Upon arriving we had about a 10 minute wait because Jake gave a guy keys to a room that wasn't clean so had to re-check him into another room. Got checked in and couldn't connect to wifi...called front desk and wifi was down. Went to make tea and coffee pot boiled and water ran all out into the floor and a very nice gentleman brought up another coffee maker that worked. Went down to get in the hot tub...half drained, cold as ice and broke. NO SIGN even!! Woke up this morning 8/21/22 and went down about 9:30 for breakfast and it ended at 9am yet nothing was stating that in the room nor did Jake tell us at check in so NO breakfast either....I told some ladies about this and Jake came and told me if I said one more bad thing about the hotel (I was stating facts no cussing nothing aggressive on my end) he was calling the cops and throwing me out. I said "what?" He then turned around and said "sh*t and g*ddamn"! I could NOT BELIEVE IT!  3 ladies put their hands over their mouths and mine dropped open. As a bonus when we left he glared at my 78 year old mom and I and I said "who is the manager?" He said it was he...I said "you are the general manager?" He pointed to the wall to a Curtis Boyd and said "I all ready called him and he is NOT happy with you!" I smiled and my mom said shhhhhh with her finger over her mouth and he hollered "lady don't shhhhh people you don't know!" Mom said "now son let's keep this professional" and we left....do NOT stay here folks...it is a circus with monkeys and they have many clowns...nothing is being kept up....just avoid the drama of Jake.

Jake cussed me out and everything is broken NO HOT TUB!!!!

We were told at check n the pull out couch in our room.was broken.  Rounded the corner to a bucket in the middle of the hallway collecting drips from the ceiling.  We stayed at this hotel one nght on our way to hike at the Buffalo River.   There was mold on the walls in the bathroom, a rqzor blade above the door? and a weird piece of carpet taped down with packing tape.  Also a mysterious soaking wet spot under the bench in our room. It looked ok enough for the night but I didnt really notice the bathroom issues until morning so didnt say anything just got the heck out of there.  This room was not worth even half of what we paid for it. Unfortunately I will be a little more cautious of trip advisor reviews now.

Dont be fooled by the positive reviews

I booked this hotel before I saw all the reviews.  as I read the reviews I was a little worried about what we find when we got to the hotel. Our trip wasn't a pleasure or was it business, we were in Springdale for my husband weight loss surgery and I would be spending the second night by myself. We were happy to find that the hotel did not match the reviews. The hotel isn't newly remolded or anything but it's clean. The staff was friendly. As I am disabled and when I was leaving Tuesday morning I got downstairs and I was short of breath. The staff helped me get my bags loaded into my rig. My husband I will be back in a few months for my surgery and we plan on staying here again.

Would stay again!

Biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the room. The carpet was just disgusting. The general overall look of the place is rundown and kind of dirty. The bedding was fine and the bed was comfortable. We stayed three nights and some of the days there was a sack breakfast available and some not. No big loss on that though. 

Won’t Return

I had booked two rooms for two nights in order to take my sister to a U of Arkansas football game in Fayetteville (after 70 years, her first in-person game).Ten days before our arrival she fell and crushed her shoulder and required extensive surgery(successful). However she was unable to travel and I was outside the 14 day special event cancellation period.This almost $700 room tab was a lot of money to me (Im retired). Curtis, the GM at the hotel was contacted by the Elite desk at Choice Hotels and,after a few days of back and forth, he cancelled my reservation.  The GM didn't have to honor my request, but he did and I'm very grateful. This is the kind of personal attention one would expect from a five star hotel.  I'm certain this is a great property to visit.  Thanks Curtis and Chad ( Front Desk) for you kind actions!

An Act Of Kindness

I am posting this to let everyone know that it was the worst $100/night stay in my long history of travelling.  This location should perhaps lose its Flag, as I would be really surprised if they are up to date on their PIP.

We’re patient forgiving people but there is a limit.  I feel a $100 US a night room should have a toilet that flushes.  No idea how others gave this place an 8.  Wouldn’t have booked if any lower than an 8, and we are so disappointed we have to speak up.  I would give it a 4, only because of breakfast, parking and Wifi.  I have had a headache since arrival... but, I prepaid and there was no refund possible.

The carpet was ripped and stained throughout, wallpaper peeling, stains and dead bugs stuck to walls.  Bathtub with stains, I rendered it unusable.  

When the room wasn’t cleaned after being out all morning, I asked the maid in the hall nicely to do it.... she quickly went the other way, and never came back!  Room was cleaned 1 day of 4.

One reason we chose this hotel was the Hot Tub, but it was so out of whack I know the chemicals ate some of my hair.  Controls did not work, totally rusted out.  Totally gross pool area.  

They took full payment on checking in, and when I told the desk about the problems I heard nothing back from mgmt. 

There was a nice young lady and a helpful young man that we spoke to at the desk, they left notes for management on our behalf.  He really helped when I used the dryer and he used a screwdriver to make it work when the change tray wouldn’t pop out.

$40/night hotel at best.  Shocking.  Such a disappointment I don’t think I will be back to a Quality Suites.  If this is the quality of CHOICE Hotels, perhaps you need to rethink your hotel chain.  I certainly wouldn’t prepay for 4 nights here, you may not like it either.

Toilet flushed only after 3-4 flushes, main floor toilet didn’t flush at all.

We had a great stay!  The hotel was a very safe feeling place.  The room was clean and very comfortable.  The staff was very friendly and helpful.  The whirlpool tub was great and you could even watch tv while you were in it.  Would definitely stay again.
