Upscale accommodations and very safe venue nestled within heart of downtown Springfield. Lots of hot spots nearby and next door to the theater. The complimentary Askinosie chocolate sealed the deal. Definitely plan to return to this hotel soon.

First visit but not the last

What a great hotel at a great pricepoint. I travel for work all the time this is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. at this price point.  Great bar downstairs, amazing breakfast restaurant across the street.  Staff are nice and the rooms are huge and beautiful.

My husband, pup and I were crossing country and I selected this hotel for its location along our route and their pup friendliness. I was beyond impressed with just how dog friendly they are! Everyone was friendly from valet, check in, waitstaff and management. The rooms were very comfortable with a nice size bathroom and excellent amenities. We first had drinks on the rooftop bar where Jake was super friendly and on top of keeping our drinks full and making sure our pup had water. After drinks we went down to the hotel for dinner where we were allowed to eat in one of the alcove seating areas so we could keep our pup with us. Our experience  blew us away by the quality and the uniqueness of the food AND with our server Maisy - she was super friendly, completely knowledgeable on all aspects of the menu items and was just an all around treat to chat with (Management...take this for what it is worth...Maisy is an unbelievable asset). My husband is Lifetime Titanium with Marriott, so we know our way around hotels, and this stay blew away any of our Marriott stays on our drives out and back and most other hotel stays we have had. If I had to find something to gripe about, the wine in the restaurant wasn't cold enough and the bed wasn't very cozy feeling. Otherwise, flawless! No doubt we will be back and we hope to see the charming Maisy again!

Excellent Stay With Fantastic Staff and Delicious Food

Staff was accommodating and personable. Rooms are clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The bartender at the rooftop was wonderful. We will definitely stay again.
     The hotel is centrally located and there are lots of things to do in walking distance.

Highly recommend

Definitely the hot-spot in downtown Springfield. Check out the roof-top bar....so cool. The suites are a perfect spot for a couples get-away. Great food, great service, very attentive and awesome bar (especially for high end whiskeys).

Incredible hotel!!!

Phenomenal product. Best hotel in Soringfield. I forgot an expensive valuable in my room when checking out without realizing. The staff went out of their way to notify me and ship it to me. Others would have likely stolen it and I would have never known.

Fantastic

Stayed one night in Springfield while driving Route 66. The hotel is great, super clean and modern with a fantastic location. Anything you could need is right on the doorstep from shops to restaurants and cafes. Springfield is a fantastic city. 

Check in was easy, all the staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself was great, a generous size with a lovely bathroom. Everything seemed very new. I especially liked the remote control black out blinds. The bed was large and comfy too, better than my bed at home! 

The only mirror issue with the room, nothing I’d knock points off for, is you can hear noise from the corridor and a little from next door rooms. There was a hen party on our floor which made quite a lot of noise going back and forth between rooms. I’d recommend bring earplugs just in case. 

All in all it was a great stay. I will certainly be back to Springfield and will stay here again.

Excellent stay

I cannot imagine giving this hotel less than a perfect rating!  We loved everything about the Hotel V...We stayed in the "new" part of the hotel which was fabulous-comfortable bed and pillows, amazing shower and shower products, free bottles of water on the nightstand.  The robes and slippers provided are so comfy!  We also loved the turntable and records-how fun!  WOW-we wish this hotel was on our "typical travel route", but it is not...If we could, we would pick this hotel up and move it around with us.  We had drinks at the rooftop bar-delicious...We had brunch at the restaurant in the lobby-YUM!  The employees were so kind and helpful.  WE WANT TO GO BACK!  Please stay here-you will not be disappointed!

FANTASTIC!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Vandivort for one night while visiting friends in Springfield, and overall, I was very pleased with our stay here and thought the hotel was hip and comfortable.

The location is convenient to downtown, and there is very accessible parking. The hotel is split into two buildings separated by the street, and we were in the newer building. The suite we had was very large and the bedroom was a corner room that had plenty of windows. At the same time, privacy was not high because you could still see in from the outdoors and the building is only a couple of floors high. The bathroom was quite large and the shower was almost too large. (So big that the soap dispensers were about 3 feet away from where the water was. But I guess that’s better than having a shower that is too cramped!)

There was a old fashion record player with some 1950s and 1960s albums, which I thought was an interesting touch. The bar area came with plenty of glasses for some small entertaining. With the layout of the room having the living area separated from the bedroom, we did have some people over to visit and the sitting area was not "in" the bedroom.

Another aspect I appreciate  about this hotel was that it accepted dogs. In the lobby there were a few dogs in so that certainly is a positive aspect of this hotel. There was even a doggy welcome bag!

Overall, I thought the hotel was very modern and sleek and centrally located. A very good option at an affordable price relative to the quality.

Phenomenal views of downtown SGF. Two hour blocks and we chose an igloo on the NW corner of the roof to enjoy a bite, some drinks, conversation, and a great sunset. The staff was conscientious and kept drinks and water refilled and at the ready. Peppadew peppers were a great bite. The draft wine and beer choices were simple but well curated. Great start to a date night. Our server was ready preemptively with our check before we asked as we neared the conclusion of our reservation. Well done sir. Great spot for NYE if they offer it.
