We had a very nice stay here and breakfast was great, my only complaint was housekeeping. I confirmed with front desk to get an 11:30 check out, they agreed. I had the do not disturb sign on the door, at 9:45 am housekeeping knocked on the door (told them we had late check out) then at 10:50 they knocked again, once again I told them we had a late check out. She kind of had an attitude about it and literally had a chair and sat right outside my door waiting for us to leave. Management needs to make sure housekeeping is aware of what a do not disturb sign actually means. Very disappointed as I work for a hotel and if a do not disturb sign is on the door that means don’t knock on the door.

Housekeeping

We stayed at this hotel a week ago during some renovation on our house.    We were a little concerned after reading the reviews on line but we were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was clean and very comfortable for our family of four.     Sam and Jose were super accommodating for all of our many requests and really made us feel at home.     We would definitely suggest this hotel to our out of town family and friends.

Hard to Please Princess

The benefits of this hotel is it is conveniently located to St Charles and only a 20 min drive to major St. Louis tourist attraction. It was a clean room, but felt overall worn out. As other guests have complained the towels had stains even though it smelled clean, the toilet was running, and many stains on carpet, paint chipping. It is also dog friendly. Another perk is coffee in the morning! 

3 night visit 

Any time we go for cheap we know that there will be issues.  Overall the hotel was clean, and had a bed we could sleep in, so it served its purpose.  However, the hotel is dark, and in need to a coat of paint and a new decorator.  I didn’t sleep well, the air conditioner was very loud, but the stool in the bathroom was even louder!  The water in the stool would start running for no reason.  So loud we couldn’t hear the TV.  When I got in bed, the sheets smelled clean (like bleach), but the sheet by my toes was ripped!  In the bathroom they have had some water issues, there was a chunk of the sheet took missing from the wall.  The view out our window was the closed pool, which was disgusting. Since their breakfast was closed as well, we were handed a bag of juicy juice and granola bars.  Nice gesture, but we will be staying somewhere else next time.

Call Hotels impossible

We didn't have many choices for a place to stay while moving cross country during the pandemic lockdown!  This was open and available and had room to park a UHaul and towed trailer. Neighborhood is a bit dodgy looking and room and building could use upgrades.  Staff was friendly but given the price they could have at least offered a sack breakfast to go.

A bit seedy

We drove up at almost 7 pm to a parking lot with 1 car in it. That should of been an indication It was not up to snuff. The entry had dirty windows, but lobby was clean. Check in was fine and room looked decent. It looked like it was recently remodeled, but king bed was not comfortable and pillows were shredded foam. They did not have coffee pots on the room due to COVID-19, which other hotels in recent months did. Our room was in the back, looked out at the outdoor pool, which had a couple inches of water and Was covered in thick green scum. The concrete around the pool was broken up and looked like they used Covid-19 as an excuse to ignore it this year. The indoor pool was not open either. It took me hours to get to sleep because I could hear the highway noise all night.

Not Impressed

I wish I would have read reviews prior to my stay.  To be traveling alone,  I did not feel safe going in and out of the hotel.  Creepy looking man hanging out in the lobby cussing on his phone.  No one was at the front desk when I arrived.   The office lights were off. Great view of a janitors closet while checking in. Why would you leave that closet door open. 
Room appeared to be clean but after looking out the window, I was disgusted.  The pool area was gross.  Weeds and trash were the best part of the pool area.  The pool was dirty and there was broken items thrown in the pool. The indoor pool was horrid.  Brownish green water.  
The toilet continued to run unless you jiggled the handle.  Shower curtain was so gross -  stains and blood on it.  Towels were dingy and stained. I wouldn’t use them on my face.  
I pushed a chair up a gap the door because I didn’t feel safe. 
As I left the next morning I stopped by the breakfast area.  Gravy was crusted over. 
I got a small cup of orange juice which was warm so I had to spit it out.
Never ever will I stay at this hotel again
Choice Hotels needs to visit this hotel.  It doesn’t fit or represent their brand.


Hotel Horrendous 

This is the nastiest hotel i ever been too in my life   Please don’t let them pictures fool you my first night of staying there I wake up in the middle of the night  to use the restroom i cut the light on all I saw was roach running

Don’t ever stay here

The hotel rooms were terrible. No lighting when you came in the door. The bathtub had a crack on it that was poorly patched. One waste can for entire suite. The bathroom had 1 working light.  In total the room was very dark. No Kleenex in room. Towels were sparse and no breakfast even though they advertise a breakfast.

Don’t waste your money

I rarely write reviews if a hotel is not as advertised. But this was by far the absolute worst place I've stayed in my life.  The entire place was filthy. Since the lighting was so dem, we didn't notice the 8 dead roaches on the floor until  morning.  Needless to say, we left immediately!
