Clean and comfortable. Good value. Walls are thin, so it can be a trifle noisy (our neighbors had a yapping dog that just would not quit). Upon check-in, the staff was very friendly. They answered all questions and offered suggestions for things to do nearby. I would stay here again.

 Nuthin’ Fancy. 

I give it 5 stars because in the realm of which they exist in hotel categories that's what they are. Clean Room, refrigerator, microwave, great TV comfortable bed, great linens, great towels,great water pressure. I will be back every year as I make my yearly rounds.

 When I'm traveling I'm not always looking for amenities sometimes I'm just looking for comparable place to put my head for 8 hours or even a couple days because I have friends in the area this was a gem.

4th generation family owned

The internet connection was very bad, really bad! Otherwise the room was correct, nothing to say. I recommend it in case the internet connection isn't too important for you.

The right hotel room

A cheap and decent place to stay in St. George. A no-frills place, but you still has everything you need. Good location, professional staff, clean rooms. I can recommend to anyone visiting or just passing by.

A decent place to stay in St. George

We stayed 3 nights at the Dixie Palm, 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and 1 night at the end. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the room on our first visit. Everything was spotless. Anything we needed was there. Although a bit dated, the wifi was good, there was a microwave, fridge, a comfy bed with 4 pillows (yay!). There was no ice machine, but the owner(s) had pre-frozen small bags of ice for customers’ convenience, which was perfect. All was good.  On our return visit, I’m not sure what happened, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed and was full of lint, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned.  We were late checking in and were too tired to complain or lug our suitcases to another room. Regardless, we would try it again if ever in St. George. We like to support small, independent business whenever possible.

Good basic motel

The manager will advise you on the interesting things to do in the city and is completely available to the guests! The bed was very comfortable, functional shower, refrigerator and microwave available in the room.

It's very charming.

Don't let the exterior fool you.  Wonderful, locally-owned motel (husband/wife team).  Super friendly and extremely accommodating.  I checked in early and checked out late with no additional charges.  The room was clean and comfortable.  Great price and value.  I highly recommend the Dixie Palm Motel on your next visit to St. George, Utah.

A Little Motel with Big Charm

we had an overnight stay on St Georges during our roundtrip, and we found this small motel.. It is an older motel, but comfortable - comfy bed, clean bathrooms with hood hot water (what we needed the most :) ). Although outside it was cold, in the room was really comfortable warm. The room is well-equipped (fridge, microwave, cofeemachine..). It is on the main street, so lots of restaurants and shops around. It was a perfect place for a stop.

My husband had a wedding in Vegas the next morning and didn’t want to pay Vegas hotels’ big prices so we looked in St. George since it isn’t too far and with the time change we made it on time without a problem! 
The hotel owner/manager was very kind and we arrived pretty late at night and she was still up and willing to help! She gave us our key, WiFi and breakfast information, she was extremely helpful! 
It’s an older motel so it kind of smells like grandma’s house but it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The shower was warm and clean, everything worked! 
We slept great! The bed was comfortable and also very clean! (Can you tell cleanliness is important to me?) 
Best thing about that cute motel? It was on St. George Blvd., across the street from Iceberg, a five minute drive to the Shoppes of Zion and Red Cliffs Mall, and down the road from the LDS temple and historic museums and visitor’s center... it was just a great location we are planning on going again for a weekend away! 

Cute place, comfortable night! 

We spent two nights at this motel. The bed was comfy, the TV and desk area were good. It went downhill from there. There is no ice machine or breakfast. Checkout is at 10:30, but on Sunday the office doesn't even open until noon. On the other days they don't open until 9.  The hairdryer kept overheating and shutting off, but I couldn't get anyone to help me since it was before 9. The pillows and blanket smelled so badly of bedhead and body odor that we had to go purchase a blanket and pillows so we could sleep the second night. The shower was originally tiled, but instead of tearing out the old stuff and remodeling the right way, they have painted over the tile and caulked some crappy plastic over it. We felt like the owners were more interested in saving a buck instead of running a nice motel. It could be a much nicer place if they would wash the blankets, replace the pillows, and update the bathroom. The lady wasn't very nice. She said we better not lose the room key because if we had to call her she might not be nice depending on the time of day. Whaaaat?!
