My girlfriend booked us here for a trip to see her dad in St. Simons.   This place has a very cool and cozy vibe.  The pub was a great addition to grab a drink going or coming from the room.  Rooms are very well appointed and i recommend this spot if you are staying in St. Simons. 

Cozy

This Village Inn has a lot going for it even if the buildings are a bit aged. The location is very good, despite being on the sort of main street of a lovely village, a short walk to the pier and garden.
The rooms are small, but really well equipped with classy bedding and puff pillows, a selection of drinks purchasable from the room mimi-fridge as with dressing gowns etc. with a heavy downpour the room umbrella was useful. A TV Guide to stations would be useful to circumvent the endless scrolling of crappy programs. We like the carpeted floors. Disliked the window blinds as inadequate to blocking the pool and other lights. Room 105.
I will commend management on their presentation and breakfast choices, fresh fruits and juices. Also a coffee maker, simple to use and a wide choice of coffees. The odd pastries and savories are  good. Even a newspaper, be it USA Today only.

Merits another and longer stay

 We were treated like royalty and the rooms and service are exceptional!  Mini fridge and nespresso machine in every room! Very romantic! A beautiful setting amongst old oak trees and walking distance to the pier,  lighthouse and many restaurants!

Romantic getaway!

We just returned from a wonderful getaway to Village Inn and Pub. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! Our room, king deluxe, was very well appointed and super clean. The pub on site is absolutely darling. However, be aware.... at night it turns into a very lively joint, but we loved it! If you are concerned with noise after 10pm, make sure your room is not close to the pub. Did not bother us, but I could see how it would bother some. The staff is wonderful, accomadations and location are the best!

Fantastic Getaway

Such a fantastic place! Our reception was welcoming (Evelyn was great), the rooms beautifully appointed, bright & comfortable, and the pub was cozy, convenient and very fairly priced. This place is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops and places of interest. It was so convenient! They have many reasonably priced snack and beverage options available and already tucked away in your room should you wish to indulge. 
The continental breakfast was beautifully and thoughtfully laid out and was a nice addition to our very pleasant stay. Our garden view room with a balcony was a highlight of our stay in St Simon's.  We will be recommending to others! If you are staying overnight in St Simon's, this is the place to stay!!

Village Inn & Pub is the place to stay in St Simons

We stayed for 2 nights in early March. The facility is divided into about 4 buildings in a tight enclave. Built in 1930. Well maintained and upgraded. Plush accommodation with the finest bedding, etc. Our room with a king bed was spacious, yet due to the age of the building, you had to 'dance' with the bathroom door - not a complaint as it is why we choose unique inns. Staff are super friendly - you will meet Pat when you check in, and Karen the bartender.  Happy Hour daily from 5 to 7 - $4 drinks.  Live music in the bar Thursday through Saturday.  This is where you will also eat breakfast.  A lovely pool. We sat there each day at happy hour and met travelers from all over.  Lots of parking.  No elevator, so request a ground floor room if you need.  Perfectly located at the pier district - you are steps from restaurants and shopping.  We would stay here again in a heartbeat. 

Excellent, quaint, well kept, friendly, great location 

This Inn is just adorable . Situated in a quiet and beautiful resort town of St Simon you couldn’t ask for a more gorgeous setting. We stay here every chance we get . Complimentary breakfast with linen table clothes and napkins and the best coffee I’ve had in a long while.
Don’t miss an opportunity to visit if you’re in Georgia .

Beautifully Quaint Inn - A Must Stay

The Village Pub and Inn is always amazing.  I stay there almost monthly for business.  The staff is top notch and treat your like family.  The rooms are equipped with Nespresso Coffee Machines and they just added mini-refrigerators.  The beds are all new and super comfortable.  The property is well kept and walking distance to the their and all the village has to offer. The Pub inside the charming main house is a great place for an evening cocktail and a meeting spot for most.  They have trivia and music some nights.  On the pub, they also serve a breakfast, which is a perfect way to start your day. Karen, Mike and Chelsea really know how to treat their guests, so I can't say enough about what a great place the Village Inn and Pub is.

Best Place on St. Simons Island

The room is so inviting, casual southern elegance. So glad the Inn hasn't caved in to the boring cold look of grey, black and white like so many hotels now do.  The staff is efficient, so friendly and truly want you to have a comfortable, enjoyable stay. It's the perfect location on the edge of town and close to the waterfront. 

Relaxed southern elegance.

Loved everything - and ditto on all the other wonderful comments by travelers.  In the heart of the very small but quaint downtown area. The spanish moss on the trees with the uplighting at night is captivating.  It was too cold to enjoy the pool, but it would be a nice additive in the summer.  The pub was a terrific place to hang out at night or sit on your balcony to listen to the band.  The only issue, the walls are a little thin, and our neighbors were early risers, so I got to enjoy their conversations (not), but it would not stop me from going back to this wonderful little spot of wonder.
