This complex simply is, what it is. It is an older property and has no frills, but then again, they don't claim to be anything different. The staff was friendly and the free public transportation options nearby made getting to the ski mountain with ski gear on very easy. They have a free pool table in the lobby and the hot tub and sauna area was very well kept. One thing that was disappointing was that they had no fireplace in the room. But the one in the lobby was always available to guests to come and hang out around. We never saw another guest in the lobby after 8pm. On the other hand a nice surprise was the largest whirlpool bathtub I have ever seen in the bathroom! Easily fits 2 adults or as many kids as you may want to pile in there. One thing ! will say was a bit frustrating was that the heating system was extremely hard to keep at a constant temperature. We  were perpetually going between a bit too cold or a bit too hot in the room. Otherwise, our stay was lovely. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a nice experience at a low price point. If you don't set your expectations too high I think you will find this property delivers.

Not fancy, but clean and comfortable.

There is no staff at the front desk after 7 pm but you will see the notes at the entrance to call the number. The guy shown up in 10 minutes and check in was done smoothly. We had wonderful 2 nights at this condo. We visited "fish creek falls" which we had a good hiking. The room is clean. The bedding are comfy. The view from our room is beautiful. It is nice to get up and see the beautiful trees.

LOVE THE QUIETNESS

The condo is located in a great area, close to everything.  If you don't want to drive, there is a free bus schedule that fits everything.  The Condo will give you a list/map of the '3' different lines and how they intersect, etc.

Summer fun in Steamboat Springs

Property Is in walking distance to main st Breckenridge.
Two bedroom unit was very comfortable with wrap around terrace. Beautiful wooded setting.
But the Carpet was very worn and furniture needs updating. Jacuzzi was dirty.
Front desk staff not very friendly or accommodating.
But Breckenridge is so beautiful with amazing hiking trails near by. The town is authentic and not plastic like some others.
Overall we very much enjoyed mountain thunder; perfect set up for 3 people.

Great location

In can see where this resort might be fine for a quick ski trip in the winter for low maintenance individuals.  Just don't expect to have room to store anything.  The only closet had cleaning tools and only six hangers.  The kitchenette was adequate, but SO outdated.  We stayed over Labor Day weekend and really regretted it.  My husband could not get any sleep in the small hard bed.  The staff seem to be nice and I wouldn't want to hurt their jobs, but unless you're on a strict budget, choose another place to stay.
