Nice size room, good accommodation. Restaurant is decent, slightly pricey tho. Overall a nice place to stay for a night or two! The place needs a freshening up but hey that adds to the overall character.

Quaint and comfortable

We recently stayed at the rental house that is available on the property of The Foxfire. We were two families (two adults and two children each). This is a perfect house for families! You have tons of space to hang out, cook, play and the sleeping set up on the second floor is ideal!  We also enjoyed the pool table and all of the games that are available in the house.  The living room is also a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the fire and chat. We found it to be extremely convenient to have the Foxfire To Go right next door for those days that we all hit the slopes and wanted to relax and not cook or go out for dinner after we returned home. We would highly recommend this house!

Everything you need under one roof!

If you want to visit the cutest place with the best food that has the comforts of home, you have to check out the Foxfire Inn.  We have stayed and dined there twice, January and May this year, and can attest to two things.  One is the best veal parmesean I have ever had and two is the best shower I have ever had - was not sure that the shower was important until I experienced it here.  Such great people who go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best ever!  Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely my favorite B&B

Located about two miles from the center of town heading North up route 100.  It is NOT on the road leading to Smugglers Notch where most of the Stowe restaurants and lodgings are located.

It has a pleasant ambiance with cloth napkins and tablecloths. It is dim at night.  Every table has a candle.  Entrees are served with a vegetable. Salads are extra.  The hot bread sticks are good but they are covered with garlic.  We didn't know this, but the waiter replaced them with hot plain rolls without a problem.

We both had Chicken Francese which was served with a mixed vegetable and capellini (very thin, like angel hair).  The meat was excellent -- tender, with a very tasty sauce, and two good size pieces.   However, there was very little capellini.  As my husband said, "They give you  a good portion of the expensive stuff, but skimp on the cheap stuff."

The sign our front says that it is open Wednesday - Sunday evenings.  Check before you go because in the off season it is only open Saturday and Sunday nights.

We usually go here at least once every time we stay in Stowe.  One of the more reasonably priced good restaurants we have found here.

Where's the pasta!

Ate at this Italian restaurant mid-week during school vacation week. Food was good and service was excellent.my son had chicken parmigiana which was excellent. I had veal saltimbocca which was filling but not very flavorful, I have had better. Breadsticks are great. Overall a 3.5.
