This is a budget hotel with no frills but clean accommodations. There is a television, a microwave, and a refrigerator. The Wi-Fi works well, the bed was firm and comfortable, and the sheets were soft. The location is a little disconcerting because it is adjacent to an abandoned gas station, and close to the section of town where most of the buildings are either boarded up or have trees growing in the center. That said, it is a great price for a place to sleep. The bed is just a queen size, so it may be uncomfortable for larger people.

Very, very clean

If you need a clean, quiet room and not all the bells and whistles such as a hot tub or weight room this is the place.  Truly kind couple run the motel and very helpful.  A/C, heat, cable, plenty of hot water, clean fridge, working lights.  I would gladly stay  here again.

Great Value

It was a cool and unique experience staying here. Our room was very clean, it was quiet and off the beaten path, and the price was unbeatable. The bed was a little firm, but we still got a nice night of sleep. The woman who helped us check in and out was detailed and friendly. Overall, we are glad we decided to stay here instead of Motel 8 or Days Inn. 

Vintage Motel Vibe

Stayed here in January 2022 on a cross-country business trip. Wasn't planning on stopping so early, but the classic swooping motel sign alongside old US 80 persuaded me to take a look. Out of curiosity, I looked up online rates through booking sites prior to talking to the manager. I asked how much for a 1-bed room, and the price was much higher than that on the sites (even factoring in hidden fees). She then said it was that price or leave, so I decided to be nice and just take it (it wasn't too horribly expensive anyway). The room was clean but very basic - bed, TV, dresser, nightstand, bathroom. No desk or chair, which was a problem, in that I had a lot of computer work to do that evening - I improvised by sitting on an ice chest and using the bed as a desk. The ensuing sore back recovered overnight in the reasonably comfortable bed, and train noise wasn't a huge problem.

Great sign, clean but limited room

This property is very dated and based on that alone, I'm certain there are several who wouldn't approve.  I got a good night's sleep, and everything worked, except for the hot water.  After a long day on the road, the first thing I want is a hot shower.  Luke warm, at best.

It was a very long day on the road so I checked in kind of late so I just figured everyone else had used up most of the hot water.  So, I got up early, to be the first to shower, and I let it run and run, and again, just barely warm.

Check in was VERY friendly, the bed was comfortable, I slept well and everything was as clean as you can get things that are 30 years old.  Television, large mini-refrigerator and microwave included.  I got what I paid for, except that hot shower.

The Price is Right

Awful it has cucuraches,mean people.sheets dirty,carpet ripped,disgusting.we were charged more then what the online search said. I wouldn’t recommend this motel at all.im calling health department,soon.
