Great stay! definitely recommend, the scenery was beautiful and owners are very nice definitely going to come back! Along with the casitas being so beautiful and clean everything was so great thank you for a wonderful time!

Very amazing and beautiful and hospitable!

My casita was private and beautiful. I stayed for the month of April. I easily walked into the downtown area where there is delicious coffee and a wonderful bookstore. I had my own parking spot and porch. It was a quick drive to the community arts center, grocery store and delicious authentic restaurants. I enjoyed cooking in my casita’s kitchen. The stove and oven were high quality, and I loved the stylish crockery. Also, the washer and dryer in my casita worked really well.

Quaint, safe, private and convenient 

We spent  June ‘22 at Burch Street Casitas.  This is our second stay. We were very pleased the first time and did not hesitate to return.  Jim and Nancy, the hosts, were always  happy to assist with any questions we had.  Every Casita has a fully equipped kitchens, washer dryer, cable TV with Netflix and a patio for coffee and cocktails.  The location is within walking distance of the plaza, restaurants, Dunn Street shops, Kit Carson park,  museums, a grocery store, etc.   In other words , “Location, location location.”    It’s nice to have a car, because are a-lot of interesting things to do within a short driving distance and you won’t be stuck paying absurd parking fees.  Parking is free. If you are looking for a home like place to stay in Taos  and want to have a  month escape,  this is your place.

Home Away from Home in Taos

Such a peaceful spot and so homey. I recently moved to Taos for a new job and stayed at Burch Street Casitas for 3 months! My mother and my aunt traveled out for a pre-move visit and when we walked into the Casita for the first time we knew it was the place. Jim and Nancy treated me like family and their genuine care and attention to detail is PRICELESS! If you are coming to Taos THIS IS THE PLACE! There just aren't enough adjectives to describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to stay at Burch Street Casitas. I have gained incredible life-long friends! Thank you so much for EVERYTHING!

Home away from Home ABSOLUTELY!

Just had another nice stay at Jim and Nancy's Casitas. We drove down for a quick ski weekend and stayed at Burch Street. Nice to stay after a day of skiing because we feel we are at our own private spot. The Casitas are clean quiet and comfortable, especially if you don't feel like going out.

Good to be back

This place is both off the beaten path, AND close to everything in Taos. All of the art galleries, restaurants and shops are a brief walk from the casitas. We had a large family group in three separate casitas, and it a was a great set up. Everyone had their own space, and were close by to discuss plans and meet up before meals, etc.
Jim and Nancy were also great hosts, and a weath of knowledge about Taos and the surrounding area.

Fantastic accomodations !

We made our annual visit to Taos and stayed at Burch St.Casitas – would never stay anywhere else. Jim and Nancy are the perfect host. We love Taos but we especially love staying at the Burch St.Casitas.

Another fabulous stay!

Burch Street Casitas is the best!  It is quiet, beautifully appointed and  close to everything.  Very clean and  serene.  Nancy is always helpful with suggestions for where to eat, shop or sight see.  She and Jim take such pride in this property and it is impeccably maintained.  While you are close to restaurants, you can also cook or grill if you want to just stay in and relax.  The Casitas are walking distance to shopping, dining, a park and galleries.  It is worth the drive from California!  We have been before and will return!

The BEST

My wife and I had a wonderful three night stay in one of the casitas owned and managed by Jim and Nancy. Our unit (D) was spotless and very comfortable. The patio was a big plus for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The property was very private and quiet. No hotel noise or disturbances. Even better, it was only a short walk each evening to dinner in downtown Taos, with many fine choices available. We hope to return again in the future.

We loved this place!

I had forgotten how lovely Taos is in the springtime as I regularly visit in the fall. Burch Street Casitas is beautiful as ever, bursting with new green foliage and flowers. Jim and Nancy keep up the property to perfection.  This year they added air conditioning, which is very rarely needed, but they are mindful of climate change and their guests' comfort. It was good to be cozily home again at Burch Street Casitas which is perfectly located as I can easily walk to town for entertainment, art, shopping and restaurants.  Jim and Nancy are the best of Taos with their genuineness and love of life. I am looking forward until my next visit of peacefulness at Burch Street.
