Poorest 2 bedroom 2 bath layout I have every seen.  Shoddy construction.  Unit and building needs updating.  Hottub inside and out is hit or miss.  Was not working.  Maintenance finally got sauna to work.  These facilities are only in one building.  Nothing is really convenient.  The 1st bathroom is off the 4X4 sq foot foyer.  Go up 7 stairs and you have living, dining and 1 person kitchen.  Gas fireplace not working.  Furniture is what you would see at Salvation Army -1950's , worn out.  No thought to decor.  Go up another 7 stairs and the 1st  bedroom is off the landing along with a 2nd bathroom. also off the landing.  Up another 7 stairs and find the 2nd bathroom. 1/2 unusable cuz you can't stand up due to sloping ceiling.  Imagine taking all your cosmetics or whatever you need up and down 21 stairs every time you want a shower.  There is a room dedicated to a washer and dryer.  It is larger than the 2 bedrooms alone.  Counted in the sq footage.  The walk to lift 7 is a nightmare.  UP and down stairs, hopping puddles, ice and through a parking lot carrying your skis.  And back up after skiing.  I would not want my name as an architect associated with this atrocity..  Worst I have stayed in for years. No room service.  Call when you need clean towels or toilet paper.  No lodge room.

BPoor construction, Needs updating, poor layout, 2 Blocks from ski lift with stairs, large puddles of water or ice.

We stayed with friends in a well-appointed condo right on Pacific Ave.  Access to the Coonskin lift was just across the street and over a small bridge - less than 5 minutes.  
We walked to town 3-4 blocks and also rode the "Galloping Goose" shuttle which picked up right in front of the condo and ran every 10 - 15 minutes.  The town may be the most picturesque mountain village in America.  The skiing will challenge every level of skier.

Economical, upscale and close to the lifts

This was a lovely hotel with very comfortable beds, nice toiletries and a safe & refrigerator in the room.  My only gripe is that the lighting is totally inadequate if you want to read in bed... the beds are high off the floor and the lamp between the beds was positively tiny.  If you aren’t bringing an e-reader it’s difficult to read!   

Staff were friendly - did not try the restaurant.

We stayed in unit 305 and it is horrible!  So run down, dated, filthy.  This unit is full of dust, every time we sat on the sofa, any of the beds, the recliner and the padded dinette chairs dust flew. The clock radio did not work, the dining room/kitchen clock did not work, the bathroom sink did not drain, the shower did not drain, there was at least an inch of water standing in the shower every use, the floor all around the shower is soft and mushy, the glass bowls for cereal, etc. are chipped, the drinking glasses are chipped, there were food crumbs in the hide away bed, there was popcorn under the sofa.  There is no AC, we were told to open our windows at night and use the dilapidated floor fan.  There are NO SCREENS on any of the windows!  If we left the windows open the unit then had bugs in it.  Housekeeping only comes once a week and the only thing they did was change the twin bed sheets and the hide away bed sheets, they did not even change the sheets on the master bed, they also gathered the trash.  The microwave and toaster were filthy inside and greasy on the outside.  The pots and pans are so bad that we were afraid to use them.  There is laundry facilities on site......I cannot even describe how unsanitary and horrible they are.....washers and dryers are rusted, filthy folding table, the floor is filthy, and the only time I used the washer the floor drain backed up and flooded the entire floor!  I spoke to a very nice lady that lives in building 500 full time and shehas complained to maintenance about this several times.  The outside bbq grills are rusted and unusable.  The only good thing that we have to say about Telluride Lodge is that it is within walking distance of Clarks Market which is a very nice gourmet grocery store/deli.  Lisa and Sharlene @ Alpine Lodging are extremely nice and were very helpful with the area.  Do not waste your money staying here, so not worth the $247.12 per night spent!

Horrible!

Great lodge across the street from lift 7 and the Telluride Sports shop where you can rent your skiing stuff! Plus free shuttle service stops practically at your door and grocery store is right beside you! Great town and everything is within walking distance. Wonderful hiking too. Pic is from rear of complex looking east. Yes, postcard perfect!

Postcard Perfect!

We came here to ski but there was no snow anywhere in Colorado . Even so the few days we spent in our 3 bed villa was amazing, great walks, great staff, good food and amazing views. The gondola is a 10 minute walk with the grocery store at the same place. There is a free shuttle to the gondola as well. 

We will return next time later in the season.

An amazing country Colorado hotel

My husband and I have been to Telluride many times but this past week we stayed at our favorite condo ever!!! Telluride Lodge unit 420!!! The mountain decor , the fine quality of the construction ( heated floors!!!) the view of the mountain... everything was perfect! An awesome grocery store, Clark's, is connected to the lodge. 
  The location is right within walking distance to shops , galleries , and dining... # 7 ski lift is right out the back of the property... you just can't do better in Telluride!

Perfect in every way!

I was with 27 other members of a Florida ski club from 1.3 to 8.3 at the Telluride Lodge, and we were supposed to get together with another couple at #538, which was simple... we worked with a ski tour operator who organized our accommodations. We trusted that the tour operator would make sure that the accommodation matched a level that one could reasonably expect. Unfortunately, he didn't. My wife and I were supposed to get together with another couple at #538, which was simple... we were afraid that the furniture broke down on the roof, the furniture broke down on the roof, the furniture broke down on the roof, the furniture was being treated like a toilet, and it was very dirty and dirty.

Really dirty and disgusting

My friend and I stayed here during the film festivals. As a positive thing to say, our room was huge. To be honest, it was more like an apartment on different levels and with a fully furnished kitchen. It was also relatively clean (although I've already stayed in clean hotels). As a negative thing, the roommates only come every other day and then just surface clean up. Our room was in the basement and we had a small terrace with a glass door that went all the way up to the ceiling and the New Yorker in it became relatively nervous when I thought that strangers could come back from the outside, easily accessed (which is relatively likely to happen in this neighborhood); in addition, I'm going to have a wonderful hotel in the nearby village of Telluride, but I'm not going to go out with a wonderful view of everything that happened in this hotel.

Not terrible, but not great...

My boyfriend and I stayed here to attend film festivals. On the positive side, our room here was huge. In fact, it was more like an apartment with multiple levels and a full kitchen. It was also quite clean, although it is not one of the cleanest places I have stayed. On the negative side, the cleaning service only arrives one day yes, one day no for a brief cleaning. Our room had a balcony on the ground floor with glass doors reaching up to the ceiling, which made this new york city quite nervous about the easy access to intruders, although that is unlikely for those parts. And the decoration of small pieces of steel and crusts with coats was a little unpleasant.
