Very nice stay for the money. We found ourselves in need of a room late at night. We found this hotel and despite limited reviews we decided to stay. Hotel is very well maintained both outside and inside. Room was clean and furniture was well maintained. Internet worked just fine. We did not use the pool or the breakfast.

Good value

The Colonial Inn, formally Country Hearth Inn and Suites, was every thing I expect. Clean comfortable rooms, owners and staff eager to make sure my stay was pleasant, and an excellent restaurant next door! I understand that past reviews of the Country Hearth were mixed and I suggest that those whose experience was less than satisfactory give the refurbished Colonial Inn another try.

Now Colinial Inn

I had reserved a room in Camden Tn for the 7th and 8th of June at the Country Hearth Inn and Suites. On arrival for check in the individual "supervising" the office( in rather unkept attire) was more intent on watching a baseball game than providing my room. After rooting around among the papers on the desk he called another individual to find my reservation. A lady eventually arrived (who spoke more English) and started the check in process. I found that she was assigning me a room with two double beds rather than the king size I had reserved. When I questioned this I was told "well you are getting a more expensive room with two beds". To make a long story short I left the motel and got a much nicer room at Best Western down the street. I immediatly went online to cancel my reservation and was advised by expedia that I would be charged for one nights stay regardless. On checking my bank account I see I was charged for both nights. Stay away from this 3rd world flop house.

unorganized  and unkept

The last time we stayed here 8 years ago my family said we would never go back. We have stayed at the interstate since. The interstate is still so far away from family so i decided to give this a try again now that im an adult and can get my own room. The room has been updated this was my third weekend trip since school has been out and it was probably the best hotel. The pillows could have been a little better and My daughter and i prefer 2 pillows a piece there was only two on each bed and we had more people with us. The overall view of the room was great it took a while for the room to cool off. I split water on the floor and used one of the WHITE bath towels to clean it, i expected the towel to come up Black there was not a spec of dirt. House keeping was great they came at 10 every morning.we didnt make it to the pool until 9 both nights so the bugs had half way taken over. All and all i will definitely be booking here again instead of so far out my opinion it is better now than the one at the interstate.

It has improved

I was looking forward to getting a good night's rest here. When I checked in and asked to see the room, everything looked fine, but when it came to sleeping, that was a different story. The mattress was hard and unyielding, and the pillows might as well have been sacks of flour. I was lucky to get an hour's worth of sleep. Miserable night. If you stay here, bring your own pillow (and maybe a mattress too).

Sleepless night

This inn has a little age to it, but the rooms look like they've been updated, painted, cleaned, etc. The only complaint I have is the air conditioner wouldn't get cold enough in that room.  Other than that, everything else was better than expected.

Better than I expected.

This is the 5th time staying here and its be great every time. People very helpful & friendly. will be back next year. Housecleaning go above and be on what needs to be done.Managers were very nice and helpful too.
