I had stayed here before in April. It was nothing like this.
We arrived late and checked in. I go to the room and can't open the door. The door is warped. So I shoulder butt the door and it opens.  When I close the door the inside handle falls off. As we walk around the room I see the ceiling falling, the floors are nasty. There is even condiments like taco sauce and ranch behind the night stand. Oh and the night stand drawers wont close. The microwave had melted cheese in the carousel.  Even the ice bucket, tray and kleenex holder are dirty. At least the bed was clean. I would have moved rooms, but it was late and none available.
The next morning we were loading up to leave and can't get out of the room. The inside handle would no longer open and we were stuck. Luckily my wife was able to pry the door open.. When she opened the curtains...there were flies smashed on the windows. And there were chairs and furniture outside and some people sleeping. I went to check out and showed the front desk the pics in this review. She apologized gander gave me $30 off...I called Choice Hotels yesterday and they now have the info. 
Be safe and pay close attention where you stay...Never again.

Worse place to stay

We appreciated the room was clean with very nice linens on the bed and a large desk to spread out our things. An extra touch were the towels on the bed shaped as two swans. The office ladies were helpful and personable. Thank you for a nice stay close to Highway 20.

Very nice, quiet and affordable

There isn’t enough room or time to describe the filthy, beaten up accommodations that we met up upon arrival.  There are substances on the walls and floor that I’m not sure David Caruso from CSI Miami could identify. The only money spent in this room was a slab granite bathroom counter and a 50” Flat screen TV that has something smeared on it. HDTV service hasn’t been purchased so there isn’t high def TV. Large food crumbs on the floor, spiders, dead bugs not to mention food crumbs in the grate of the A/C unit. Cobwebs so thick above the bed, it’s clear they haven’t been swept in years.  Bathroom has no fan. Barely enough TP to get through a few restroom visits upon arrival. Had to request. Staff friendly and when asked how it was and were told, they told us they would have come to vacuum themself immediately. Everything that is wrong here cannot be “cleaned away.” This property needs to be gutted and redone top to bottom. Not expensive but not worth the bare minimum put into it. Will never stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the Quality Inn ti be close to family in Covington for a wedding and other business and pleasure. 

There was a slight glitch upon our arrival, but it was cleared up and we switched rooms. Cliff, the front desk person, could not have tried harder, nor been more helpful and courteous in assisting us in the move. He even carried some of our things.

The general manager, Jay Patel, was super nice and accommodating. 

The breakfast was very tasty and satisfying. The room was clean and fresh, and the beds were comfortable. The Inn itself was convenient and priced competitively. 

Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we will use this inn again in the future.

Four night stay - very accomodating

Tried to book into this hotel since it said it was dog friendly but only if you have a small dog.  Doesn't matter what kind of manners the dog has as long as it is small.  So bring along your dog that eats everything, throws up and pees on the carpet, and barks all the time as long as it is small.

Not pet friendly, even if they say they are

The hotel staff was friendly. Marinda and Sheila were both a hoot and made for a nice visit. The rooms were clean and orderly. The hotel it located in easy access to food facilities. The breakfast was good and the breakfast area clean. Covington is a nice small town off the beaten path. The downtown is worth a visit.

A Nice Hotel To Stay At In Covington

The building is an older one, but kept well. It is convenient to the highway and near places to eat and shop. Parking is adequate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was adequate.

Good overnight stay.........

After traveling several hours we decided to stop here as a halfway point. The room worked for a place to get rest to travel again the next day. We did notice a bad odor near the bathroom area and I did discover the side/back of the toilet tank area was molded. (I’m assuming this is what was causing the odor) had we not been tired from traveling I probably would have complained and stayed somewhere else, but like I said before it was an ok place to get a nights sleep and leave early the next morning. Will not be returning for a future stay.

Odor

Checked in and found hair throughout the room and unpleasant and unclean room accommodations. The bathroom was the worst part. Hair all over the floor, shower, and corners were dirty and untouched. The feces splattered under the commode lid forced me to go into survival mode and purchase cleaning supplies to clean up bathroom for safety reasons. Front desk clerk older white woman is of no help and incredibly rude. Never ever again in life!!!!

Very Disappointing 

Great location with all amenities you need. Ain't plush but clean, quiet with good staff.  Breakfast is more than adequate and coffee is great.  New restaurant opened in town after Marlo's Down Under closed. Wyatt Earp Steakhouse off square.
