Lawrenceburg

Needed a place to stay near the company retreat in Hohenwald. Family loved the Natchez Trace and Meriweather Lewis historic sites. Campground is mostly gravel roads, but clean bathrooms and laundry. dated, but nice. 

Beautiful Campground

This was a nice clean and very quiet park. Beware of the drainage ditches and sharp turns. The roads are rough but understandably expensive to repair or replace. Electrical was good. The water is good and pressure was medium. 

Clean and quiet

I love this area and the campground. The staff is helpful and friendly and they take care of their amenity buildings. It is nice to spend time in nature and by the lake. The roads need some repairs in a few areas, but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come again!

Ranger station was super helpful. General store very lacking unless you need some alcohol. Spotty internet provided by the park at an additional charge. Issues with power outages.

We had  4 cabins and a rv parking area rented.  Everyone had a good time we also rented the pavilion rented for the reunion.   We were from alabama and several others from all over Tennessee.  We. Ay purchase a cabin pass. 

Family reunion

This is a beautiful RV park.  plenty of open space and lots of land.  wonder why they dont put more RV spots in the open acreage near the beach.  the 8 spots on the beach are absolutely the best in the park if your lucky enough to get one.  most the other camp spots are miles away and close to nothing but in the middle of the woods.    literally 2 miles to get to the camp store and gate.  roads and campsites need attention.  we are here in February so it isnt crowded and very peaceful.  i would imagine that in the summer this place is busy.  i would definitely return.  i saw a bald eagle by the lake but didnt get my camera in time.  nice site.

Nice and wide open space.

Beautiful park with friendly staff- could use some upgrades to the amenities and general park appearance (upgrades to roads and electrical/full sewer would be great so bigger RVs would have more site options). Otherwise, great park to visit with your family. 

BEAUTIFUL PARK

Watch out for low bridge only 11 feet will cause damage to your RV. This park is beautiful. The lake is very nice and the people are wonderful. We have extended our stay and are enjoying very much. Just watch you way in and watch out for the Bridge.

Verizon services are not available in this location. No phone, TV, or WiFi.
We paid for weekly WiFi service at campground but it never worked. Called three days and was told by service provider that the dish serving our location was not working & they would report it. WiFi never worked entire two weeks we were there. Only got WiFi if you sat in clubhouse. Never from RV

No Verizon phone service, no TV, no WIFI

We had an excellent stay here. We have stayed here several times and have enjoyed it every time.  There has been some improvements on the road since our last visit. There are still improvements to be made but it looks like they are getting them done. Over all great stay.
