It is a budget motel. I was in Shelbyville for the mule and donkey show. The prices in other hotels were sky high, I wondered why - for the donkey show? I wanted a bed to sleep and a bathroom for the next morning. I stopped by this hotel and was a comfortable stay I would say. It had a microwave and a refrigerator as a basic amenity which I didn't use, but it made sure that the guest can have a pleasant stay. The manager also let me check out one hour late without any fee.

Basic motel

We were in Shelbyville for the horse show last month, and were literally hunting for a room. The owner was helpful in checking us in at midnight. The lady even came out to give us some extra towels when we asked for them at such time. I doubt any other person would do that 1:00AM. Will definitly stay here in August for the next show.

Helpful staff

Went to walking horse celebration rented room 117. The room was so nasty and smelled awful. Had to go some where else to rent a room. When ask for my money back ,lets say it was not returned. So anyone wanting to stay there i would think twice.
