This so called RV retreat is awful. Constant construction and tractors all day next to RVs. Absolutely no cell service or Internet no matter what we tried. Rude and very nosey staff. The beautiful prison is always locked. You have to wait an hr for somebody about 100 years old to unlock the so called laundry facility and there's bugs in the food...do not stay here...

Horrible toxic people 

We stayed in the RV section for a time. They are building more sites and construction was ongoing.

If you need a stable Internet connection while working from your RV, stay elsewhere. There was no WiFi for the RV sites, so we had to use a Verizon hotspot. We stayed on the end of the second row, close to the hotel, and our connection on our phones and hotspot would drop off every 5 minutes.

There are laundry facilities in the hotel, but they are locked, so you have to get the laundry room unlocked to use.

I cannot speak to the hotel rooms.

The ranch is picturesque, with cool buildings that are all locked up tighter than Alcatraz.

There is a pool, but the pool house is locked up.

There is no dog park, although there are some pens that can be used if you secure the gate.

There are some dogs that are allowed to wander freely off leash. Beware the Chihuahuas, as one of them nipped me and my husband on separate occasions.

Best RV family resort!

C'mon - this isn't the Waldorf Astoria!  This is a camp.  It has camp facilities.  Our rooms were exactly what we were expecting.  Functional, comfortable, rustically cute.  Perfect for a bit of a mini-reunion.  So convenient to have the rooms around the perimeter of the meeting hall, where we gathered for meals.  The owners are very flexible.  They allowed us to bring in our own, set-up and use their space however we wanted.  Very good folks to work with.  We're planning to come back again with more people in our group.

Perfect for reunion!

Pros: Great location away from busy roads.  Beautiful view from the cabin.  Private residence attached to room had a great table outside and cute hanging lights. We had a small table and dirty plastic chairs. Great porch size.
Cons: Parking signs were confusing and in the end we couldn't park close to the cabin. I don't know why, looked like there was room.  Stayed in the Cowboy room.  Movie set theme contributed to confusion.  Since there was not a place to eat on the property if you are just there for a hotel room, the kitchenette was important. (Also far from town on a twisty road, not good in the pitch black at night.)  We were told everything you will need is in the room.  Beds for four people, but ONE plate, bowl, coffee cup.  NO utensils and one small sauce pot. Small fridge that didn't work and big fridge that was cold but leaked.  Inadequate curtains on french door let sunrise in, so up early every morning.  Coffee pot very questionable, I refused to use it.  I could have brought items if I had known.  Girl booking my room asked another employee what was in the room.  I could hear her say "Everything you need".  NOT!  Horses were not available to ride, although we did fish (catch and release).  Dresser smelled funny, left my clothes in the suitcase.  No chairs in the cabin or table, but plenty of room for one.  Would have added greatly to my family's comfort.  Choose somewhere else.

Not what was promised

The bed was broken and the two sofas were very uncomfortable. Pretty scenery, but we won't go back. Not much of a retreat when you can't sleep. We were offered a refund, which we took. Returned home early. Too bad. Wish this place had provided the rest we so desperately needed. 

Nice people, not so nice accommodations. 

What a wonderful place for our family reunion! Everyone was so pleased with the location and the facilities. The staff were all so friendly and helpful.  The kitchen was clean and organized very well, and the pool was fabulous! We appreciate all they did to make our weekend so wonderful!

Great Family Reunion!

We stayed on New Years Eve. Found the ranch by chance looking for a place to stay close to Winstar. We went to a concert there but the hotels both there and in Gainesville were booked. The ranch was nice and quiet to come back to and wasn't very far. The rooms are cute, clean and comfortable. You might want to take a small speaker or radio for there aren't any televisions.
