Hotel was clean and staff was nice. This was our first time staying at La Quinta, and we were satisfied.  We felt safe and were pleased with the cleanliness.  We will definitely book at this La Quinta again.

Nice Hotel

We were passing through from Kansas to Texas & stayed one night in this hotel & it was comfortable & clean.  We were a late check-in but it all went smooth.  I would certainly recommend this hotel & it's close tot the casino in case you're interested in that.

Very friendly staff from check-in to check-out.  Everyone we met was very customer oriented. Over-all a nice facility, older but nice.  Good value for your travel dollar.   Easy access of I 35.  Near I 35 but not a noise issue.   

Very Customer Service Oriented

Awesome weekend. Beautiful wedding. Fun for all. Enjoyed our stay at LaQuinta Inn by Wyndham. Nothing different could have made anything any better. E thing was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

Breakfast was very good. Breakfast room was clean. Hotel room was comfortable and clean.  Bathroom was clean.  Check-in and check-out were efficientlly handled.  On line reservation was smooth and there were no problems at check-in.

Good hotel at reasonable price

This hotel was obviously updated recently. They did a good job making the lobby and rooms feel and look new with modern decor and pleasant color schemes throughout. We had our two pups with us and not having to pay any fee to have them with us was a MAJOR PLUS! The front desk personnel were all pleasant and informative.

Our room was on the top floor, almost directly in front of the elevator. Initially, I was a little concerned that there would be a lot of noise, but we never heard the sounds associated with arrivals and departures of other guests. An earlier review mentioned that the top floor rooms are moldy, but I did not smell anything that would support that. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was either a cleaning agent or floral room deodorizer that was used in the room that I did not really care for. But, once we were in the room for a little bit, we did not notice it anymore.

The elevator is a little sketchy! Our first trip up to the room had us thinking that the elevator was getting stuck or that something within the pulley system was slipping. If the hotel would post a notice advising that the elevator has been inspected and that the sounds are harmless, that would have been helpful!

We were going to go soak in the hot tub, but it was not heating properly. The hotel clerk had no idea when they would be getting it fixed. We did not go in the pool, but it looked refreshing.

There are plenty of grassy areas to take your pets. However, they are not fenced areas. They also do not have any dog poo bags, so you'll want to grab an ice bucket bag if you don't have any poop bags of your own.

The breakfast is the typical free continental fare plus they had breakfast burritos. I don't know if they were supposed to have biscuits and gravy with sausage and forgot to put out the gravy or if they just had biscuits and sausage. Several folks did what I did and looked around for the gravy thinking that there was biscuits and gravy. The breakfast area is spacious and well organized when it comes to the placement of all the breakfast items.

There is a movie theater and an Apple Bees right next door. So, not only is there a place to have dinner or a drink and appetizers but you can also catch a movie if you wish. We would DEFINITELY stay at this La Quinta again. It was easily accessible, had good parking and the price was very reasonable.

Updated; Some Tweaks Needed!

Wife and I stayed overnight while visiting grandson on trip to North Carolina. Good location. Quiet. Reasonably priced. Good sized and clean room. Friendly staff. Just what you would hope to get for a good stayover.

All Was Good

The staff was nice, rooms were clean and bed comfortable, but overall the hotel was very dated.  For the price it was fine for an overnight stay.  We left early, so didn't do the breakfast, or use any of the facilities.

Very dated

The photos look amazing. But it’s not the same when you arrive. Lobby looked nice upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms needed a lot of work. It looked cleaned but wasn’t. The shower was a stream of water. The water smelled rotten. 

Photos are misleading

Stayed here once before and my second was similar to my first.  Newer hotel that could be a 4 -5 but lacks because of staff.   On both occasions I felt that by checking in and out that I was inconveniencing the staff.   The first time ( a few months back) I arrived at 3.  No one was at the front desk, finally someone came as she was talking with a friend on the phone.  I let her finish without interrupting but now the check in was three deep.  I asked for my room and she said none were available come back at 4.  I went to my car and then went back to the lobby to ask if they’d text me when a room was ready.  I drove 14 hours and was tired,   Low and behold the two people checking in behind me both got rooms immediately.  I asked why and was told that two rooms just opened and now there are none available.  They refused to text me. I returned at 4 and no rooms until 5. 

A few weeks back I tried again. The staff are about as unfriendly as you can be.  That’s why a 3 in lieu of a 4.
