This is the worst place I’ve ever been too the door wouldn’t lock and I couldn’t even get any sleep with all the bugs in the bed that kept biting my legs. DO NOT GO HERE TERRIBLE PLACE. I would’ve gave it at least a 2 rating but  the fact my door count lock is outrageous I can’t even feel safe for a place I paid to stay at.

TERRIBLE HOTEL DONT GO HERE

I was a little skeptical at first because I normally don’t stay in budget motels that have doors outside, but this one is actually clean and the area appears safe since I seen other families here. Only thing I would suggest is to make sure you bring your own sheets and towels to be safe because I saw a stain on the linen, so I put it on the floor to avoid germs. Also, the beds are extremely hard to sleep comfy, saw hairs inside the coffee cups, and their smoke detector was broken inside the room. If I had another option, I would’ve been at the Holiday Inn for more comfort like I normally would, but this weekend was busy due to the stupid Formula 1 racing event here. So lesson learned, get your hotel booked at least a month in advance before a major event comes into Austin, nearly half of Austin was SOLD OUT because of Formula 1 or the budget motel prices were extremely high.

Semi-Clean, Quiet Area

The outside looks a little older but I was honestly very surprised how nice the rooms are for $80 a night compared to best western down the road at $170 a night with way worse service this hotel is worth it if you just need something quick. Shower is nice towels are good and pillows are thick don’t waist your time or money get a room here.

Get more then what you pay for

Pros:   Cheaper.   Great Wifi.   Hot hot showers.  

Cons:   Towels are thickness of 3 paper towels.   Pillows have zero support and very thin.   

Read the reviews that the rooms have been remodeled and the beds were very nice. Beds were motel-average at best. Not really sure about remodeling but that wasn’t a factor. The room was otherwise clean and fine.  There was a hair dryer, microwave, fridge, and TV in the room. There was also an alarm clock, which was unplugged but not needed for us.  

Hotel was also quiet.  

Pro tip:   Before you go to your room make sure you ask for additional pillows



Overnight

I have stayed here before and have found the rooms to be neat and clean.  The prices are fair and the desk clerk is friendly.  It is a decent location near several places to eat.  It is quiet will little traffic noise.

Return trip, good stop

unhelpful lazy staff  rooms are old and smelled of mold  not cleaned regularly no amenities no breakfast offered  not a place to stay but there is nothing in taylor worth visiting or places to eat at worth trying

miss this one

This hotel was much better then I was expecting. The staff was great. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The one major issue here is the parking. There isn’t enough parking for all of the rooms.

Nice room

I just wanted to promote and let everyone know what an outstanding motel establishment we have here locally in Taylor. The Taylor Village Inn and Suites. We had reason to stay here recently and it was incredible. The amenities for the price alone is unheard of. Free Wi-Fi access with great speed, full blown cable HBO, etc. with modern big screen adjustable TV, microwave in room, mini-fridge, coffee maker with all the makings, spotless clean, beds and pillows that are like clouds, and best of all, a staff that is beyond compare to get or provide you anything you need in a snap with a simple call to the desk. My wife and I have traveled and stayed in hotels all over the world, and I am here to tell you that you will not find a better deal or place to stay than this ANYWHERE. Kudos to the staff and Taylor Village Inn and Suites for providing such a quality and comfortable place to stay locally.

Wonderful Amenities and Service

I had never stayed here before, but I found it to be an excellent choice.  The clerk was friendly and found me a room downstairs, which I require.  The room was clean and comfortable with all the necessities, including a coffee maker.  More people arrived after me, but the noise was a minimal.  I will stay again.

It seems this place has double standards.  We were putting a homeless guy to work. He had shown commitment for several days while still without a place to live.  We chose to put him up at a nearby hotel and continue his opportunity to grow.

Earlier in the day, I was quoted $325 rent per week.  When we arrived, the desk clerk quoted a higher price of $435.  I told him I had been quoted the lower price and showed him my phone when I had called. He even saw the caller ID for my business on his phone.

But, because the homeless guy had been seen around there before he maintained he would do so only at the higher price.  We walked out.

Folks, your standards are pathetic.  You also killed your chances of hosting a contract employee when they visit in a few months for a couple weeks.
