Just don't stay here. The room was dirty, I won't talk about the fridge, the picture talks for itself. We waited a long time for checking in because there was no one at the office. We tried to call but the phone was in the office... so not really helpful. We were during the check-in hours so it was very annoying. Especially when you spent your day at the national park and you just want to rest a bit. The office was so dirty we already were scared. We didn't sleep well, I understand why some people sleep in their cars.

Go somewhere else

So, we were waiting for one of the workers to come for 5 min. Then we went to our room and the moment I walked in, I saw a spider. Then another one, and another one. Then I walked in the bedroom because we had the biggest room, and saw 2 of those big misquotes. The bedroom wall was yellow. The were cracks on the walls. The shower looked like sh*t.

Bad Motel

First, I'll give a few positives:  amenities of in-room coffee, refrig and microwave, which are pretty much the expected standard in modern travel.  A/C worked well, both cool & heat.

Problems:  They still use "old school" key, rather than card, which would be fine EXCEPT for 1 thing - there is nobody in office except for hours 3-9 PM, so upon departure, you drop key in outside open/unsecured box.. Very dangerous, as anybody could take key, make copy and enter your room whenever to do whatever. And if you arrive after 9 PM  (which fortunately I didn't) you have to go about 5 miles back to the Western Holiday Lodge (owners own both) to get a key (they do tell you this via email upfront, but this is not a good business practice).  Next, the shower in Room 6 is leaky, very difficult to get the control knob in just the right position to stop it.  Next, WiFi very balky & slow, cuts out repeatedly, esp at certain hours (late afternoon and evenings, not so much very early AM).  Next, no towels in room, only a wash cloth and bath mat.  Office clerk did provide some promptly.  Told him I wouldn't require daily cleaning since I had everything I needed except for couple extra coffee packets, which he provided (no problem with him personally, he provided items needed).  Was informed that they usually didn't clean daily, which some travelers may not like & makes you wonder about their maintenance overall.  Won't stay again unless these matters resolved.

Needs improvement

Completely abandoned to itself, by no means cared for, old and dirty (dirty linen, numerous paperwork behind the dressing room, ants in the bathroom, etc.).

It's not going to happen!

It's not a hotel, it's not a shelter for the injured, it's dirt, it's the remains of previous victims and those that follow, the television table has dust accumulated over several years, the beds for the state of the savannahs haven't been changed in addition to the holes, if you should report it to an authority because it's closing, the price paid 200$ is a clear abuse of the goodwill of tourists.

The hotel is horrible: dirty room, uncomfortable bed, too noisy air conditioning, etc. The room price is exorbitant for this type of hotel. We stayed there for 3 days. The room was only made once. It is impossible to talk to the manager. Only an employee occupies the reception from time to time. Since this hotel is very well located (at the entrance to the park), it is chosen by many tourists. That is why the manager totally mocks the quality of his establishment.

I'm not going to.

Probably one of the worst lodgings I've ever been to in my life - old, abandoned, dirty and a thousand more defects.It's amazing that guided by a few photos, one can come to think that this is an idyllic place, when it is quite the opposite.

One of the worst accommodations of my life.

It was very dirty. The bed had big bugs and womens hair still in the sheets and stains and the sheets and mattress. I tried to reach out to them the next day but they didn’t do anything to make it right. They said they didn’t have cash to refund me since I paid cash. They were quick to take my money but not to fix the problems this hotel had. Also they said that I should of told them when I checked in which was late or when I left which was early morning since we went hiking. The front desk staff works 3pm- 9pm… no one was there to contact until later in the day after our hike. How is that fair!? This hotel does not have staff 24/7 like a normal hotel so there was no one to tell which frustrated me. Also don’t try to call them, the number they advertise with is disconnected. So really no way to contact them. It was not worth the price and a very unpleasant experience. I would never stay here again and would never recommend to anyone ever. Probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, they use this tourist area to charge high prices and make money but don’t put any of it into making their hotel clean.

The front desk guy gave me the number of the owner. So I also reached out to him personally and told him about the bug in our bed.. he said the sheets are “usually” changed out. So there was a chance they were used sheets 🤢 so we wanted compensation for how horribly dirty the room was plus the bug. But he accused me of going in side finding this bug and putting the bug in there myself!

Terrible

They take advantage of the limited supply available in the area to inflate their prices. I don't think it would be a bad idea if they at least clean the rooms. They have accumulated tires from years ago. The carpet is so cute that it hasn't been past the vacuum for weeks. I don't recommend it at all.

Asqueroso is the name of the game.

This place was no less than a nightmare! One of the worst places to stay, ever. The site does not support pictures or I wanted to share the pictures. 

To start, its a completely run down building from the early 50s or so. Enter the room and you are greeted with a stench of mold. The complete place is almost in ruins. One lamp was not working. We called the only person available to check and he could not fix it. One of the lamps had one bulb blown, the towel hanging rod was missing in bathroom, only two already smelling towels for 4 people, no cups for making coffee though the coffee maker was there. 
Most disappointing was that it says river inn at three rivers and there is no water in sight until you decide to hike down half a mile and that too across the road in private property! 
Please stay away from this place unless you have no choice but to find shelter for a night than sleeping in your car. Our worst ever hotel so far. They are cashing the proximity to the sequoia park and also the lack of more staying places nearby. 
Also note that once you book this hotel, they will not let you cancel it until about a month before the stay. A nice way to lock you into a lousy deal where you stand no chance of bailing out. Good luck if you still decide to stay here.
