Left the light on for me. Good service and a clean room was what I got at Toledo Motel 6. Check in was prompt and quick, room was an updated version and clean. Everything worked and was peaceful and slept well. It is Motel 6 so your not getting a shoeshine or creature comforts. But the basics were really good.  For a retro feeling there is a Waffle House across the street, check it out.

Had a reservation to stay at the motel 6 over night. The front desk clerk  was very nice and helpful. She checked me in very quickly and answered all my  questions. She Helped me find a place to eat not only that but my room was nice comfortable and clean. Thank you motel 6 for making my night comfortable.  And thank you front desk clerk Valerie for your help

Over night Business stay

I checked in on Jan 17 & checked out Jan 19. I was greeted by Amber who was very friendly & helpful. She quickly had me booked. Just can't say enough about how friendly & professional she was. She even called my room shortly after arrival to make sure everything was ok & ask if I had plenty of towels or anything else. 
ONE NOTE:
The supervisor in charge the morning of the 18 & 19 is VERY RUDE. 
Was awakened to him banging around & singing (awful voice) loudly out in the hall.
Also, the ceiling in the hall was leaking, put a couple ice buckets underneath to catch the water, could hear him out there complaining about that & he actually kicked one down the hall, just a really HARSH person. 
Even after the experience with this "supervisor" I will still come back & that is because of Amber's kindness & the appearance & cleanliness of the room. I really like it there & the location is good as well.

Personal Visit

The staff was very personable. Rooms were a nice size and looked newly remodeled, with wood panelingwhich have them a more modern look. Shaunte Harris gave us a great room at a budget friendly weekly rate!

Great Service

Great rooms, Quiet Area & Amber at the front desk is great , always friendly and meets our needs every visit ! I would recommend motel 6 to anyone visiting Toledo or just looking for a get away..... 😊

Great customer service

This was a fine place for me.  It was not crowded as I went a week before Memorial Day.  The room cost was only $39., $46 after taxes added.  The refrigerator was small but had a large enough freezer section that I could re-freeze my bags of partially-melted ice cubes back to solid chunks of ice.  So, I didn't even need to use the ice machine.

I slept well at a very inexpensive price

When I checked in, there was a police officer at the front desk reviewing video footage.  Not an auspicious start!  The front office staff was good and found me an available room for an early check-in. The place is noisy and dirty.  The wifi is terrible.  The location is ok.

Stay Elsewhere

I was driving from Wisconsin to Virginia, the roads were terribly bumpy, and I was getting sleepy. I remembered staying at this place once before so I got off at Toledo and checked in.  I could smell the disgusting scent of marijuana being smoked as I walked up the stairs toward my room- I guess that is just one of the things you gotta put up with at a cheap hotel because druggies can't seem to afford anywhere else and they certainly don't have the decency not to do drugs everyplace they go...  That being said, obviously not a good place to stay if you are bringing the family. 
My room was clean and it served me just fine.  I wouldn't want to stay here longterm with all the dope addicts smoking marijuana and who knows what else but for one night  it was manageable.  I would stay there again but hopefully the hotel will have the decency to clean out all the druggies and have the cops haul them off to jail where they belong.

Affordable place for a night.

Didn’t sleep well at this hotel since the walls are paper thin. You could hear everyone in the hallway and other rooms. The beds weren’t that comfortable. Probably won’t stay here again.  The price was too much for the hotel. They need to upgrade the rooms and make some soundproofing adjustments 
People are very nice.

Ok stay

I've stayed in a lot of Motels, and Motel 6's,  but this one was where the bad reputation comes from.   Half of the first floor was flooded, there were leaks in my room, the tub had pink mold in it.

My sister stayed on the same floor, her clean towels had brown stains on them and her sheets were also stained.
