This is the second time we've stayed at the hotel & it was even better. From pre-check in to check out, the staff was helpful & kind. The restaurant offers more vegetarian options which is huge for us. It was super tasty! Already looking forward to our next visit.

Can't wait to go back

I stumbled across this place when looking for a place to spend Christmas with my parents. I originally thought it was a mistake on Google because of how stunning the photos were. I didn’t believe that it could be so close to me and I wouldn’t have to take an international flight to get to it, but I was thankfully wrong. This place exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. The grounds, the rooms, the views- they all brought a smile to my face. The staff really went above and beyond from the start. It really was the experience I was hoping for and I thank the staff & owners for creating, plus maintaining, such a great place. Also can’t say enough about the restaurant-both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious and fun experiences. This place feels special both looking at online and being there in real life. Worth every penny!

Loved Our Stay

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights this week and had a fantastic stay. Everyone that works at the hotel and restaurant were helpful and friendly. We had several great dinners and breakfasts at Restaurant 17. The preprogrammed routes on the bike computer were great for selecting a few rides to do while I was there. The room was comfortable as were the common areas. I would definitely come back.

Fantastic few days

I stayed at Hotel Domestique for four days. This is a magnificent hotel and I enjoyed every moment of my time there. The staff was incredible, the food in Restaurant 17 was delicious, and the facility was top notch. I am an avid cyclist and I had a great time riding the challenging, hilly roads near the hotel. After cycling I also enjoyed the water, beverages, and snacks that were always available in an alcove next to my room.  I took advantage of the hot tub and my muscles thanked me. This is an awesome place to come and just relax.  I’m looking forward to a return visit next year.

This hotel is really special.  From the time you walk in to when you depart the staff is always available and making you feel special.  We also felt that our dogs were welcome and they felt at home.  I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get away for a few days and just relaxing.  The breakfast and dinner was always great and excellent service.  Thanks again to all the wonderful staff !

Great Stay!!

The Staff are all amazing, the Hotel looks like a French Chateau and the grounds are beautiful but $1,200 for 2 nights in February is a little much fo South Carolina. They purchase and use local ingredients, as much as they can which is great, but overall food was not as expected. Good but not great.

Beautiful Grounds, Great Staff but a little pricey

Accommodations were great and the staff was very attentive. We enjoyed our dinner at Restaurant 17. The food was amazing! Breakfast in the room in front of the cozy fireplace was extra special. We will definitely be back!

Anniversary getaway!

This is a very special place. As you pull up to the property you feel as if you have reached a French Chateau or Italian Villa. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains are the perfect backdrop for such a lovey property. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the indoor sauna. Both perfect for this time of year. The staff really is so welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure your every whim is met. The welcoming champagne and many other small touches are wonderful. The restaurant is also beautiful. This is now a favorite out of the many places we have stayed.

A French Chateau in the Blue Ridge Mountains...very special!

Celebrated the New Year with a weekend trip filled with wonderful guest amenities, delicious meals, and comfortable accommodations. We will be back as there are a few things we want to return for! So fortunate to have such a gem in South Carolina. 

A Perfect Weekend Stay

There are not enough accolades to describe Hotel Domestique. The beauty of the hotel to the incredible staff made for a perfect anniversary trip. We will never forget the three magical days we spent there and we were made to feel like family.
