This hotel has no oversight at all. A huge family was here at the same time and played  BLARING music until 2am. No one was in the office to complain to or try to address. Absolutely awful. So much for their definition of a family friendly resort. 

Very loud obnoxious guests

My wife and I have stayed at Beach Haven on three different trips and have two others already booked. I can't say enough about the community feel of the resort.
 They have a heated pool that is cleaned daily and on site laundry. The whole resort is as flat as a parking lot from the street right to the edge of the beach where you have only a handful of steps down. Yes it is a resort of earlier and simpler times but that is the allure and it it very well maintained and clean.  If you need a resort to have someone at your every beckon call and don't want to enjoy having someone say hello to you when you meet on the sidewalk this is not for you.  Other resort beach bars and grocery and small restaurants are such a short walk. We have never seen a prettier sunset anywhere in the world we have traveled. we recently recommended this resort to a group from our town and they took our advice and loved it and already booked for next year. A MUST EXPERIENCE!!!

We just returned from a holiday stay at Beach Haven. This hotel is very unique. Two unit bungalows, with full kitchen /living room, bedroom, offers everything you would need for a week or month stay. The layout is unusual due to the high rise condos on. both sides, but it still holds it's old world charm. Although we usually stay at the other end of the beach, we loved the heated pool, the beach access, the clean and simple setup , and the great care the manager and housekeeper took in Beach Haven. Great little space!

My family coming to Beach Haven for 20+years. Starting with front office to housekeeping......Staff is  very friendly, professional.  Cozy and small hotel, Everything is in waking distances. We love this place..

20 year's Customer's

We have been coming to the Beach Haven for at least 5 years.  Previously we stayed at some of the resorts in the St. Pete Beach area when we were walking to the grocery store and happened upon this small motel nestled in between a couple of high rise condos.  The grounds are immaculate and the housekeeping staff is so helpful and courteous.  The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but not fancy.  If you're looking for overpriced luxury, this is not the place to be.  If you're looking for a great value with quiet, clean and comfortable accommodations right on the beach, this is the place to be.
This place has simple motel rooms or a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen.  The grocery store is within walking distance.  


Hidden Gem

We are local and have seen MANY options for lodging on the beach.  Beach Haven is a hidden GEM! Cozy, quiet, clean, and very affordable. The property is well maintained and they take pride in their work. Staff are very friendly and professional. The pool is heated and beach is a few steps from the rooms. Kitchens are spacious and we bought groceries within walking distance to cook meals for entire stay.  We drank coffee every morning on the quiet deck leading to the beach and watched the sunset from the same deck. True relaxation!

Customers for Life

very clean.  no frills. efficient.  beachside. we had often passed the beach haven and joked about staying there. its small and seems like an old florida motel. on a lark, and since we often go to st pete,  we DID stay there. WOW.  i have to stay it was as nice as if not nicer and less hassle that two of the other properties we have stayed at (OFTEN) within the same half mile of beach at about half the price.. the only disappointing thing for me is that although the rooms were semi bungalow style and separate from each other they were not beach facing.. you couldnt see the beach from your room.. there maybe two units that have this option..i am unsure.. but that is the only downside. this is a great place for families, and i wholeheartedly recommend it. The beach haven may be the tiniest piece of hidden treasure left  on the best mile of beach in America, in my opinion.  we look forward to returning

After staying at the Grand Plaza nearby, we moved to the Beach Haven because it was Nice, Clean, and Close to the rest of the family having a Wedding at the nearby Sirata! The main reason we chose the Haven was that it cost about HALF what the nearby “biggies” were charging (and we didn’t have the RESORT FEES to pay, that the big hotels claimed that they HAD TO CHARGE!!?? Sure, there were a few drawbacks, but this place had nicely manicured lawns, nice owner/managers, a clean little pool, and a good place to SIT OUT and enjoy the Sun! The kitchens were good enough to keep our food and drinks, and cook it too! 
If we ever get back to this part of Florida, we will most surely go to Kim and her daughters place-the Beach Haven!!

Cozy but inexpensive!!!

Just a great place great stuff great price pool had a great time with the staff and I hop right across the street and Mimi golf to our trip was just great we will be back soon very soon I can’t say enough good about this hotel

Great place

This place is old school florida at its best!  Wonderful staff, clean rooms, full kitchens and right on the beach!  I almost didn’t want to write a review because I don’t want it to get too busy but they deserve the recognition for the heart that they put into this place.  You won’t be disappointed.
