Stay Away !!! It's a low class hotel needing major construction renovations.Unit was clean and well equipped but the constant noise from all the construction, all day, every day starting at 8 AM was a nightmare. Building is old and rundown.  Grounds are a total mess with construction debris all over the place. Landscaping is non-existent. The acoustics inside the building are terrible. Guests walking in the hall sound like they are inside your unit. No security at all except for a code to enter the building which doesn't change. The one elevator for the building is antiquated and breaks down on a regular basis if door is held open for any reason. In all my years of travel     (I am 72), this is by far the worst place I have stayed at for the price. This is definitely a 1 star hotel in a 5 star surrounding area. There are much nicer places to stay in Treasure Island with better prices and amenities. Do yourself a favor and at all costs avoid this place.

Worst Place I Have Ever Stayed !!

Stayed here last year..was fine. This year:Unit 201
We have decided not to return to palms of treasure island next year. 
Not being advised beforehand about the construction, not offered any credit as others have received, condition of this unit and the increase in price for next year have made our decision. At times the noise from the construction have driven us inside and to charge us the full amount for that plus the condition of the unit seemed to us to be unreasonable.
My husband was down on hands and knees cleaning the floors. We were told we would be getting a table at least for one balcony.  How can you have 2 balconys and only one with seating? We were told by maintenance that we would be getting a curtain rod and hooks (curtain on one side doesn't even open and falling off the rod) Didn't happen. The sofas in this unit are so uncomfortable we are watching TV in our bedroom. We did receive new pots and pans as the ones in the unit were nasty. 2 tvs were replaced. To say this unit was "tired" is an understatement.  The handle even fell off the oven door. The microwave is loud but I guess expected as the date on it is 2006!
It is really unfortunate as we enjoyed our stay here last year in a different unit prompting us to book this year. Booked elsewhere for next year.

Not great

My family and I stayed in room #409. It was filthy and outdated. Couldn't enjoy the view because it smelled of sewage. Dumpsters were overflowing. Bought a mop and cleaned our own floors because our feet were black after being there maybe 30 mins. Sliding glass door had a film on it, and walls had dirty handprints. Patio for was dirty and old. No one in lobby at reception for 3 days.

You're paying for the view

I wouldn’t recommend staying here anytime soon, they are working on most of the balconies in the front of the building. It’s loud, with people working outside your windows with no privacy or outside space. Very disappointed this year, won’t be back.

Vacation

My family of five had a wonderful stay at the palms this past week.  The beds were comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean.  Being right next to Publix was so convenient.  Easy beach access. The ocean view was a favorite on a night a beautiful storm moved in over the gulf.  We will definitely be back!!

Loved it

Friendly people, easy to work with.  This company offers real estate and rental services by Treasure Island beach. Offers many beautiful vacation rentals, also offers management services for vacation and annual rentals.

Great company

I picked the Palms of Treasure Island because of the close proximity to the beach. The public entrance is across the street, can't get any easier than that. The condo was clean and is what I expected from a beach condo. The funny part is we didn't even go to the beach because the one day we were going to it rained. That's ok. The kids loved the pool. the water was warm and very clean. There were a couple things that could be addressed but they were not deal breakers by any stretch of the imagination. Everybody that we interacted with at the condo were nice and overall the place was very clean. The view into the bay was very nice and it was nice to sit out there at night and relax. I would come back here if I was ever in need of a condo in Treasure Island. 

Family of 6 beach and Disney vacation (Unit 408)

This building is located right next store to a Publix and across from beach. The balcony view is peaceful to sit on in the mornings. Very clean property and condo. Could use up grades on dishes and pans for sure. I would definitely rent here again!

Girls long weekend unit 409

We have stayed here several times and have been quite happy. There is a nice private pool that is clean and well appointed and rarely over crowded. Publix is next door, Beach nearly across the street and ability to walk to many restaurants and bars. We were disappointed with room 101 this trip. The dryer made so much noise you could not stay in the room while it ran. Feel sorry for the room above us. The couch was broken down. Towel rack fell off in master bed room. Lack of sufficient darkness in bedrooms for sound sleep.  The beds were minimally comfortable. Did enjoy the back balcony.  Front door fits poorly. We will be back but will avoid this room like plague. 

Room 101 

Spent  6 nights here expecting to go to a race which ended up being canceled. but we decided to make it a vacation and this was nice place to be. There is work going on in and on the building but not enough to detract from location and amenities. The apartment was very roomy TVs in all rooms, 2 complete baths, beds were comfortable and kitchen was large with necessary tools, I made bad coffee first day -- my fault better after that. It took a little getting used to using the codes but we didn't lock ourselves out so it was good, the pool was in very good shape and was in sun which made it nice but there were some tables in the shade so you got the best of both. Nicely located there was 13 eating places with in a short walk , with the beach across the street and Publix next door it would be possible to spend your whole vacation with out getting in car.
