A lovely B&B in Tucson with a wonderful host! Spacious accommodation in La Vie en Rose, delicious breakfasts, central location, and a sheltered garden and patio. It was too cool to use the pool and the hot tub, but we really enjoyed our stay. There’s a lot to see and do in Tucson and vicinity, and Pat had great suggestions for sites and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Wonderful B&B in Tucson

If you are looking for a Bed and Breakfast that the breakfast means something, this is it!  Pat, the owner, is the former owner of a french restaurant in Tucson and her breakfasts are tremendous. We did not have the same breakfast any of the five days we stayed there.
We stayed in the La Vie En Rose Suite and it was extremely comfortable. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the great backyard or the pool, but I can certainly imagine having breakfast out there. 
It has much better than staying in a hotel, we were less than 20 minutes to downtown or anywhere else in the area. Lots of restaurants around the place. And stunning views of the mountains right outside the front door. Pat was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the Tucson area. Overall, a great place to stay and we hope to return soon.

Much better than a Hotel!!

We stayed in the La Vie en Rose (Life in Roses) suite at the Mon Ami (My Friend) Bed & Breakfast for four nights in Tucson while visiting my husband's family.  We were so happy that we chose to stay here!

The suite was very nice with a king bed, a large private tiled bathroom, two closets and a nice sitting area with a couch and two chairs around a fireplace.  There's a small refrigerator in the bathroom which has a small freezer area. 
There were nice small extras such as shampoo, conditioner, kleenex and large, fluffy towels, extra pillows and blankets, lots of clothes hangers and a desk at which you can work.  The wifi was very fast as my husband worked from there and had no problems being online and attending Teams meetings. 

Pat, the owner/hostess, was very helpful with directions and gave me a suggestion for my morning walk.  She served us breakfast each morning in her beautiful yard- complete with hummingbirds and flowering bushes.  The breakfasts were delicious- we always had fruit and some sort of bread (croissants, bread, scones) as our first course and each day, we had different entrees such as omelettes, quiche, and puff pancakes.  All were amazing, and Pat had led a very interesting life and we thoroughly enjoyed our conversations during breakfast each day!

If you are looking for an alternative to a hotel, you should definitely check out Mon Ami B&B. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic B&B and a great hostess!

This was a lovely place to stay while exploring the Tucson area. The outdoor eating area  felt like a secret garden sanctuary. Our host, Pat Sparks, fed us the most delicious coffee and breakfast. We stayed for six days and every breakfast was different. She provided way more food than I’m used to eating. But I managed to eat everything. We had lively conversations with Pat and she was able to answer all of our questions regarding Tucson. I highly recommended staying at Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast.

Best stay in Tucson

Mon Ami is a wonderful place to explore Tucson, Arizona. It's centrally located and a very comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Pat is welcoming and her fresh made breakfasts are wonderful. Pat suggested several restaurants that were just blocks away that we loved. Guadalajara Grill made salsa to your liking at the table and the Dutch was so good we went twice. Both were perfect dinner spots after a long day of exploring The Desert Museum and Tombstone and Bisbee.

5 Star B&B

The owner/manager of Mon Ami is a gourmet chef and an expert in food science. She ran a highly regarded French restaurant in Tucson for many years. Her breakfasts are magnificent: fluffy spinach omlettes, asparagus crepes, cheese blintzes, German puffy pancakes, almond and chocolate croissants, scones and every day, fresh fruit and yogurt... and great coffee.

She is also an interesting and delightful person. We enjoyed spending time with her.  You will arrive as Pat's guest and leave as her friend.
 
And, yes... Mon Ami is comfortable and conveniently located in a quiet residential area within easy driving distance to stores, restaurants, and Tucson's many wonderful natural areas and attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mon Ami in Tucson at the end of June beginning of July. The room was cozy and comfortable. The shower was great, we had a refrigerator and the bed was comfortable. Pat was a wonderful hostess and her breakfasts were delicious and varied. Pat inquiries when you check in about what you like and dislike food wise. It was a wonderful stay and now that we have 2 grandsons to visit in Arizona, we will be back. I highly recommend Mon Ami!

Mon Ami is THE Place to Stay in Tucson, AZ

We needed a place in central Tucson to be close to friends and relatives.  We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights here, and of course, as others have mentioned, the great breakfasts.  B&B's often take pride in their breakfasts, and Pat is especially proud of hers.  Our room was especially large, the bed very comfortable, and Pat is a lovely hostess.

Good breakfasts, pleasant room, very nice owner!

We so much enjoyed our stay at Mon Ami. Pat is a wonderful hostess who also happens to have owned a French restaurant in her past. To say the breakfasts were amazing is an understatement. The location served us well as we traveled all directions from Tucson during our week-long stay.  I would HIGHLY recommend Mon Ami. The accommodations are very nice with a good balance of privacy and opportunity to socialize with our friends in the garden. Great place to stay!

Great Location, Great Food, Great Hostess

My husband and Son had a terrific experience and stay at Mon Ami during their visit of U of Az. Pat made my husband's birthday extra special with a personal "bday" treat. The boys reported that the breakfasts are excellent. The B&B  is close to UofAz and central to Tucson.  Thank you Pat!
