I don't know where to begin to say how bad this hotel is the floors are dirty the hot water didn't work the coffee maker was old there are spots on the ceiling the place smells like cigarettes nobody's in the front office this hotel really needs to be demolished

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE,  R U N.......
This place is DISGUSTING, FILTHY, DANGEROUS, HAS MULTIPLE FIRE HAZARDS, and at best, REPULSIVE!!!!  We booked  this room with a third party, unseen, (our bad).  This place should be condemned with their certificate of occupancy pulled.  We are soooo mad at ourselves for using a 3rd party and not checking this place out.  R U N  away from this place!!!!!



RUN AWAY FROM HERE

last minute booking, arrived 30 min after making online reservation to find the room stunk to make my eyes water, active drug deals in the parking lot, resident push starting his pick up truck.  Your car will be broken into if it has ANYTHING valuable for sure.  Personal the desk promised a refund minus cancellation fee but now does not respond, and booking.com will not issue it as the cancelation was not made 24 hours prior.  (How could it be, the reservation was made 30 minutes prior) 
MY MISTAKE IN SO MANY WAYS, JUST WANT TO SHARE SO OTHER CAN AVOID THE SAME.

Drug infested, permanent residents dealing in the parking lot.

This motel is not clean and the people are very unfriendly. The manager was very rude and not pleasant. Its cheap but I would rather pay more and get better treatment.I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. All my life I have traveled, but have never experienced anything like this. The hotel does not work well with you when it comes to accomodations. You would think in management they would be polite, but it was the total opposite. terrible service.  This is the last hotel I would stay at when coming to Tybee.

Horrible

I booked a king size non-smoking room a couple of days before we went, and we arrived to check in a little before 3 p.m. When we went to the room, it had two double beds and smelled like smoke, so I went back to the office with my confirmation for the king size no smoking room and the owner told me that somebody else wanted the room for two nights instead of one so she gave our room to them. Sorry, but that's not the way it works. When you book a specific room and receive confirmation for that room, you expect to get that room. I asked if she was going to give us a discount for giving our room away and she told me that the room with two beds was actually more exensive, so I was already getting a discount. WHAT??? She did offer a refund, but I already knew that everything was booked at Tybee because I had checked pretty much everywhere else before I booked at this place. I even told her that and she said she didn't know that. The room smelled strongly of bleach, no doubt to try to hide the smell of cigaratte smoke, the beds and pillows were hard, and the air conditioner barely worked and sounded like a bell ringing. If I had not been four hours away from home, I would have taken the refund she offered and left. The only thing that made the stay bearable was the maid, who went out of her way to be accommodating after she heard what had happened to us. Apparently, this happens quite frequently, and I hope that anybody else who wants to make sure they get the room they paid for in advance doesn't have their room given away before they get there. One more thing, if you still plan to book at this place and expect to use the free wifi, plan to be outside of your room to do so.

Owner Gives Room Away

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in we got there on mon afternoon about 5 pm and we where supposed to have a king suite we where told it was not clean yet so they gave us a double queen bed room. It looked ok when we went in but went down hill from there. It is an older hotel but hope the service would be good but it was terrible the beds are very hard and the housekeeping did not show up at all then I went to the office cuz there was no phone in the room so they finally sent housekeeping to our room about 7 pm the first night then the next night we had to go to the office again this time the came about 9 pm it was very ridiculous that each day we had to have them come to our room! We complained to the manager and where told they would not give us a refund or anything for our stay. I am also posting pics of the room which was not at all as expected!!! I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Vacation

The beds were horrible! I actually complained and was told they were new only 6 months old and they were already caved in the middle.  The toilet ran all night, stayed clogged even got clogged when my hubby peed in it. The smell from other guest doing drugs was very prominent threw out the hotel. The location to the beach was nice but almost got hit 3 seperate times trying to cross the road. Pool guest were drunk and loud after pool closing times. Also the pool light wasn't attached inside the pool(picture attached) and kids were playing with it so danger beware!

Very clean, staff was really nice and helpful the whole time we was there. Will stay there next time we go to Tybee Island.
Our experience was very good and we will reccommend this hotel to anyone. We really do not have any complaints except the first night they was sold out.

Family Trip

I have stayed here in the past and it was ok.
This trip the bed in the room was completely sunken in at the center.
 The towels looked like something I would have used to wash my floor, not dry my body.
 Nightstands were both missing their drawers.
 While it may have been painted recently the room clearly need actaul updating and not just a coat of paint.
 The walls are thin enough I could hear every word being said in the room next door.
 I will never stay here again.
