We just returned home from beautiful Maui, Hawaii and the great hospitality and accommodations of the Maui Ocean Breezes in Haiku.  We were there as a family attending the wedding of my nephew and his bride.  We needed a place for three families to stay together in one estate.  This was provided by Maui Ocean Breezes located at 240 N. Holokai Road in Haiku.  We were warmly greeted by the owners Troy and his beautiful wife Sharda' when we arrived. They couldn't have been nicer.  We were shown around the estate and were familiarized with all of the amenities available. They provide almost everything you could need or want from beach towels, snorkeling equipment, grills, charcoal etc.  There were separate areas for each of our three families. My niece and her wife chose the studio which is great for one or two people, my nephew and his family, including three teenagers chose the house with three bedrooms.,two baths a huge living room and dining room and full kitchen.  Their house provided beautiful views of the valley and to the ocean.  My wife and I stayed in the cottage which is a cute, yellow painted house with two bedrooms, one bath, living room and full kitchen.  It had an outside patio in front and a deck outside of the kitchen that provided a bathtub perfectly suited to a nice bath or soak under the magnificent star filled night skies...what a treat after a long day of activities.  We thoroughly enjoyed having fresh limes and lemons, bananas, mangoes, and papaya off the trees located throughout the property. We also enjoyed using the 40 foot swimming pool, fountain and picnic area which is accessible to all guests.  I really can't say enough about this property, but I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.  Again our thanks to the magnificent hosts Troy and Sharda' for their wonderful hospitality....they made this trip" the trip of a lifetime".   Ron & Irene

Beautiful Estate - Very Hospitable Owners

This was perfect for our group, 3 couples, one with 3 teenagers. Beautiful views, landscape and breezes. We loved eating the fresh fruit off the trees. The owners had some issues with a previous caretakers and are now here full time. They were so nice and accommodating. They are doing some major updates and remodeling and I think it will be even better in the coming months. We stayed in the studio which has a fairly private patio with ocean view and a nice breeze. The large sink, microwave and portable cooktop was more than enough for us, but the house and cottage have full kitchens if that’s what you need. My brother stayed in the house with his family and my aunt and uncle stayed in the cottage. Both thoroughly enjoyed their stays. There are no longer goats, chickens or tortoise, but the birds chirp in the morning, the geckos chatter at night and the smell of jasmine sweetens the air in the evenings. 

Beautiful Place, Wonderful Owners 

Rented Hibiscus apartment from 12/25 thru 1/5. It is advertised with full kitchen but it does not have one (see pics). Informed onsite attendant who said “sorry, contact owner”; never heard from owner.

Deceptive advertising; bad management

If you want a beautiful setting that’s quiet and away from tourists, this is the place! So close to the best parts of Maui, tucked away in the lush, green jungle with the birds. We took our young daughter and couldn’t have found a better place. Huge green space to run, pool to swim and views of the ocean. 
Gabi was amazing and helped us with everything we needed, even taking us for a ride in his huge army truck which the kid loved! 
After exploring other parts of the island, we felt lucky we ended up here and will be coming back for sure!!

Best place ever!

We are about to leave today and we are so sad to go!! We stayed in the studio with our 3 year old and this is a perfect place to come with kids. A huge grassy area to run around and the pool is great, we always had it to ourselves! Gabi is an amazing host and made our stay perfect with his local knowledge and friendliness. He’s the best.   Fresh lemons, limes and coconuts from the fruit trees were an added bonus. The location is great, quick drive to Twin Falls, or to get delicious food at Jaws Country store and an easy drive to Baldwin Beach and Paia as well. I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Maui! It’s so lush and beautiful and a quick drive to the beach. You can see the amazing ocean views right from the deck. Lots of birds on the property and geckos too, we even found the neighbourhood goat. Our daughter loved it here so much. Thank you Gabi! Can’t wait to come back 🌺
