Good
Clean room; the bathroom is mainly clean, but could stand some close sweeping around the door jamb and along the edges at the wall.  The a/c works well; the room fridge is cool; the desk chair raises to a good height and has good arm rests.

Not good
This is the first hotel of any brand where I have seen the bathroom linens rack was mounted INSIDE the shower where they would get damp or wet from shower spray and splash.  Of all the BRAIN DEAD things to do. The wall next to the shower has a
useless picture hanging there. The bathroom linens rack should be there. The designer is an IDIOT. 

Why doesn't the ethernet socket work? The wiring is there and works off the same gateway. 

This is the first hotel I have experienced where the guest washer and dryer does not have coin slots. You have to scan a QR code and set an online payment with a credit card or Google Pay. This is ASININE.

The price was exorbitant but the staff was excellent! The front desk attendant was kind & understanding with my elderly, handicapped mom. The breakfast attendant was so sweet & attentive that I actually thanked her for her welcoming smile & her response was, “I love my job.”

We booked here for one night to break up our drive from Houston to Big Bend Nat'l Park. It was clean and quiet. Nancy, the front desk associate was pleasant but too soft spoken for me as I have hearing issues. The Sofa Bed sagged in the middle but I still managed a good night's sleep. There were no pillow covers for the pillows for the sofa bed, so I used 2 of the pillows from the king bed. Everything else worked fine.

OK but a Bit Expensive

Overall, this was a good place to stay. When you're doing a road trip  you are not going to find outstanding places, but this hotel was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The beds were ok, linens, towels and a very good shower. We were in room 403. Breakfast was ok too.

An OK Hotel When On The Road in Uvalde

I've stayed at the only other decent place in Uvalds across the street. Had really poor service. Everything from the breakfast, to the friendly front desk greeting, to the king suite was great. Room was immaculately clean. I'll be in Uvalde several more times this year and staying here, booking my rooms in advance now.

I had reserved a hotel at the East side of Billings, Mt.  Holiday Inn Express.  I wanted to add another night.  First of all, I could not understand the agent.  I repeatedly asked them to speak slowly and slow down.  My existing reservation was for one night at a cost of $205.00. To add another night, meant I was changing my reservation according to the agent.  This meant I had to pay the new rate which was $265.00.  I said that was not fair.  She explained they did business that way.  Again, I could hardly understand due to the accented English they were speaking.  I asked for a supervisor, she told me she could not help, that is the cost.  Sadly, I stay at Holiday Inn Express most of the time.  However, I do travel on a budget because my customers will not pay these prices.  I feel like there must be a solution to these problems.  My solutions are just limit travel, do more zoom meetings and less in person contact.  Who wins?

frustration

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Tallahassee, 1653 Raymond Diehl Road, and it was horrible!  We chose it partly because of its claims that the staff maintains a super-clean  atmosphere due to covid, but it was filthy.

First, the carpet in the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years or even recently vacuumed. The in-room refrigerator and microwave were dirty inside and out.  Next, the bathroom was also disgusting with pubic hair on the tub and floor.  The white ceiling in the shower had black mold in several spots.  Next, we needed some extra bath towels because there were three of us and only two of them in the bathroom, but the hotel was out of extra towels.  Finally, we wanted to do some laundry, but the change machines were empty.

We have been IHG members for a long time, but not any more.  We're not patronizing this company any more.

Filthy

Booked a stay through my agency for 5 weeks for work. I was advised at check in that due to COVID, they would be cleaning the rooms every few days.  And there would be a sack breakfast with a muffin, fruit, and a yogurt... 3 sweet items with too many carbs.  So I won’t be getting breakfast here.   Not a problem since I would be leaving on Friday and back on Sundays.  I could get breakfast elsewhere.   I told the front desk that.  Week 1-I got fresh sheets and used the coffee in the room day 1 so had to buy coffee out. They have coffee at the front desk, but I shouldn’t have to beg for coffee and there was rarely anyone at the front desk. I’ve just started week 4, no clean sheets since week 1, no coffee service in the room, still no spare t.p. Roll. The carpet hasn’t been vacuumed, and the furniture hasn’t been dusted. Also, overnight there is plenty of hot water, but in the morning, about 0600... NO HOT WATER for my shower.  It barely gets up to body temperature. At least the air conditioning seems to work. I’m checking out today.  Will try the Hampton Inn across the street. Only 2 decent hotels in this town. The rest are probably 50 years old and in poor condition from the outside so I’m not staying there for work.  The pool is closed, but no one is stopped from using it. Oh, by the way I’m a gold member in the rewards program.

Stay elsewhere!

Stay somewhere that takes care of you. The Pool was closed, but 9 drunks climb the fence and were screaming for 1 your. I called the office and reported distrurbance. The office guy came out and told the party animals he hated to break up the party. They left 30 minutes later, than two kids climbed the fence and were diving off the tables. I called the office they never came out.
We could not sleep.
There breakfast consists of a bag with a muffin and an apple. Great room, oh no maid service if you stay an second day.

Spend the extra money

Great hotel. Very clean, friendly staff and great breakfast. Maria V was very pleasant to interact with while having breakfast. She made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very welcome.
