I had never stated at Qualty Inn south before and I was pleasantly surprised. Megan at the front desk is like a breath of fresh air. She was attractive, competent and very pleasant.

 The room was beautiful.The bed, downe comforter and four downe pillows were exquisite.The other furnishings and accents were great too. When i checked in at about 2:30p i was the only one and didnt know what to expect. By early evening till about 7p though the place filled up fast and it was easy to understand why: the rooms are beautiful, competitvely priced and the day front desk personnel was flawless.

Do I need to tell you about the free breakfast? WOW! (Says it all) Everything you could ever want for breakfast. You can eat in the dining room or take your food back to your room --- you can get seconds if you want too!

I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely stay there again if in town. Thank you Qualty Inn for a very enjoyable stay. I wish it could have been much longer.

I have to say the location was quiet. I personally would not stay again.  I felt  the sheets were dirty. The room had somewhat of an odd odor. We would have checked out If not for the pouring rain. Breakfast was very sparse.

Vacation stop over

My room was reasonably clean, was there a hair or 2 that didn't belong, yes.  Does the furniture need to be updated, yes, bigger screen TV, yes, I don't want to fall asleep with my glassed on...  
Friendly check in, answered all of my questions

This place is dated, but...

Running from a hurricane, with dogs, making a last minute stop, I immediately checked for bugs, no bugs. Dated, falling apart, sink drain clogged for 2 days, door lock didn’t work when out of room. I have travelled with my pups numerous times cross country and realize my options are limited, but this was very sub par. Check in personnel very nice and accommodating, not so much the next day. After bucket of ice melted, and I had drank some, crud was in container, ewwww😪😪. I may have been better off staying in my suv, it was cleaner. 

Disgusting, but no bugs

Ragged, ripped desk chair. Toilet will not fill/flush. Phone does not work. WiFi does not work. Place needs refurbishing at the very least. The best thing about this hotel is it’s location- close to Cheddars, Steak n Shake, McDs, etc.

Look elsewhere for a room

over the last 10 years my family has stayed here many times while visiting Wild Adventures....this last time will be my last.  The place was not clean and it no longer has a pool.  Very disappointed....

was my go to hotel not anymore

I am not one to give a 1, well the stay gets a 1. I checked in at 4:30 with I think your room is done. Room 103 had a front and rear door, rear door was ajar, portable fan blowing in the room. Since it was warm in the room I figured it was to help cool the room down. Well I left went to a concert and did not get back until 11:30. When I went to the bathroom wallpaper peeling, but for a lower rate, I can handle that. However, the carpeted floor by the ac on my side of the bed was soaked. (Now I know what the fan was for) It was to late and I was to tired so I went to sleep. I got up in the  am, the carpet is wetter tha. When I went to bed. At checkout I told the clerk, the reply I got....maybe they were cleaning the carpets. Really!!! I told her this has to be an issue the carpets qere.soaked and ahould be changed as black mold could grow under there. No resolution, just excuses. I didn't expect perfection cause of the rate I got, but this is ridiculous.  

Dirty wet room

I have always stayed at Quality Inn South in Valdosta Georgia for a number of years spending between 300 and $500 a month but my last stay in September 2018 they put through a charge on my card without my knowledge and without my permission.
it was three weeks after I checked out before I discovered the charge
I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.

if you're going to put a charge on my card I absolutely require knowledge and permission to do it they should have called me and told me what they were doing.    I have not been back nor will I go back.    

I advise all travelers going to Valdosta to AVOID the Quality Inn South in Valdosta the Quality Inn at the mall in Valdosta Fairfield Inn Valdosta and Courtyard in Valdosta they are all owned by the same franchise owner.   

I highly recommend Comfort Inn & Suites in Valdosta Georgia or the Quality Inn in Lake Park, Georgia Both great hotels both Choice Hotels.

Unauthorized charge on my card without my knowledge and without my permission

Stayed here in August. Wi fi did not work. Hotel in bad shape. Pool was filled with dirt. They said it cost too much to maintain. Juice machine dispensed black mold!! They promised to fix problems. Stayed again Sept 2 and same problems existed. Lame excuses. The girl on duty said they were trying to sell the place. She had just given her notice that she was quitting. Smart girl!
