My family and I attended a concert at the Ventura Music Hall. It’s a 5-minute walk from White Caps!
Super convenient since we didn’t have to find a parking spot at the venue.

Everything you need- the beach, Main Street, Ventura Botanical Gardens- is a 4-5 minute drive from here. Super easy to get to off the 101.

The newer-updated rooms are just as shown on the website. 
For the convenience and cleanliness of the motel, the price was also amazing!

A 5-Minute Drive from Everything!

One can tell that the new owner/management has put a lot of money and TLC into this property.  This is a motel designed for beach-goers:  easy-to-clean floors instead of carpets for sandy clothes to be laid, a simple design with a comfortable bed, and an ample shower to get the sand off.  This isn't a full-service place:  it is a quiet, comfortable and clean place to spend the night either while passing through Ventura like we were or being a beach bum for the weekend.  It's an easy drive up East Thompson to go wherever one would want to in Ventura.

This Motel has been newly remodeled and it looks and feels fantastic. Everything was very clean. All the room amenities were brand new. A one night stay was at a great price. It is conveniently located near the beach and near the heart of downtown.

The people were great, the room was clean and well put together. Loved the feel and decor. Roomy room and the bathroom was wonderful as well.
The parking was perfect for each room.
 Overall it was a very comfortable, quiet stay.
Will stay again and look forward to it.


Excellent 

The rooms look exactly like the internet pictures; very clean and newly updated. 
Don't let the outside of the building fool you , the price is unbeatable and the room was perfect.  Suggestions: rooms need coffee pots,  darkening shades for front windows. 
Property is a five minute drive to the beach and 8 blks from historic downtown Ventura. 

Budget travel still possible! 

There weren't many hotels available when we needed this. The price was good. But the place is not ready for prime time. It is a fixer-upper, and I suppose they are in the process of rennovating, but I would not go again until that is done.

Needs lots of work

This place is clean on the inside and very edgy on the outside. We got stuck here for the night due to poor planning and not realizing we would still be in this area. Bed is nice flat screen was nice. Bathroom needs work. Big room with plenty of elect outlets. 

Edgy

This place feels sketchy from the moment you drive into it. Not sure if it was the fact that I had to be buzzed in through a door to check in and get the keys or the fact that once I got in the room it was disturbingly unclean, but man, as a single woman traveler, I do not recommend this place at all! There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom, neither of the two lamps with outlets on them worked, and the state of the bathroom was horribly unclean from the ceiling above the shower being absolutely filthy to the door of the shower being filled with mold and almost off hinges and bugs flying all around the room/bathroom. The heater was broken and there is no peep hole in the door. Don't stay here!
