This review is so overdue! My sister and I stayed there in October of 2018. I can't say enough good things! Rod and Donna were the perfect hosts and their home and they were incredibly hospitable and warm. You can't miss the bacon sausage! That hog never left Lowell! The hospitality, the warm people were one of the highlights of our Leaf peeping trip. I hope to be able to return there one day. What everyone else said about the breakfast doesn't even come close! Not only is the food incredible but the other guests and the conversation were over the top. The little white church across the street with trees in full fall Glory was so beautiful! The backyard View is amazing, several hundred acres of unspoiled grass land where moose come to play. You can sit on the bench swing to enjoy that view. Don't hesitate to book!

Best of the best!

Stayed here with a friend on the way to skiing Jay Peak, where economical lodgings were not that easy to find. This B&B is easy to find, though, as it is directly on VT 100. The very gracious owners served us a tasty breakfast of local eggs, apple juice, and bacon (their sweet dog Lollipop finished my danish). Best of all, they gave us a pass that was good for half of our lift tickets! Room was somewhat tight for two guys with gear, and location is rather isolated from restaurants, etc., but would recommend for skiers looking for a great value and a charming stay. About 15-20 minutes to Jay Peak.

A gem in the country

I’ve never felt more at home at a B&B.  The rates are incredibly reasonable, and included some of the best breakfasts I’ve ever eaten.  French toast made from bread baked the night before by the hosts (and boy oh boy, was that a great smell to walk into after a long day of driving!), local eggs, local sausage, bacon, maple syrup, apples, fresh fruit, and their “special coffee blend”.  Very flexible in terms of any dietary needs or restrictions.

It is immaculately clean, Rod and Donna are super friendly, but not overbearing, and their dog Molly is just the cherry on top, and really makes you feel at home.  WHO’S A GOOD GIRL??  Molly is SUCH a good girl!!!  And they are dog friendly if you have one of your own.  Although they are sensitive to guests who may be fearful of dogs, and are totally ok with that.

An absolutely wonderful experience.  The rooms and bathrooms are teeny tiny (and the only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars) but the dining room and parlor are meant for the guests to use and make themselves at home in.  The parlor has a tv, books, gorgeous gas fireplace, and the dining room table is set out at night with various glasses and a bottle opener.  And there is a story behind every piece of art, every lamp and curtain and book and nick knack. All you have to do is ask about them.

Truly a home away from home

The rooms are nice and the hosts are very friendly. We had a great country style breakfast and a really good night. The B&B is located in a small village with beautiful landscape around. Vermont is a great place for a road trip.

Beautiful family owned place

Made the reservation with booking.com by mistake.  This is December and the reservation was mistakenly made for March.  THE cancellation terms emailed to me say changes can be made up to 7 days.  They are REFUSING to make any sort of refund.-and have 3 months to find someone else for that room,,  HUGE RIP OFF and NO flexibility with this management.

Dont book with this hotel unless you want to be ripped off

Friend and me biking Burlington to Quebec City. Booked this place. Not much in town so had to bring along our dinner. Had a couple of bottles of wine shipped in ahead. Nice rooms. Nice folks. Lovely breakfast. No complaints.
