I stayed at Budget Host Inn for a week. The room was well-maintained and clean. The neighbourhood was peaceful. The room was well-functioning, with everything from the air conditioning to the plumbing working perfectly, and the amenities provided were more than sufficient. Lastly, the motel owners were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference and enhanced the overall experience. I would highly recommend Budget Host Inn to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay under reasonable price.

Budget Host Inn: A Clean and Peaceful Retreat with Exceptional Service

Do NOT judge this property by the outside.  Our room was immaculate at half the price of the premium hotels in Vernon which were booked for the night.  No breakfast provided but who cares? With the money saved, we ate well nearby and filled the gas tank. One overlooked wonder of this place is a mulberry tree in the courtyard that has to be one of the oldest trees in Texas.  Not much to look at initially until you inspect it closely.  You will then see an indication of its history. Out front of the motel was a perfectly tended bed of hibiscus in full bloom.  They are indicative of the extra care the owners of this place put into the property. For what it's worth, our room was 101. We slept wonderfully.  The neighborhood is quiet.

Unexpected delight. Slept tight!

In the dark, this little gem hides an amazing surprise. 
The pool maybe closed, fees are posted on the window. 
The gentleman at the desk was courteous and professional. He was apologetic and sincere when having to come help with the key card at 11:20 pm!! 
The room was very welcoming and clean! The beds are amazing!! 
You can tell that the owner takes pride in their investment!!

Pleasant surprise

Went to this hotel to meet up with a friend i have not seen in years.  Little quiet area lots of food places with in the area.  Only Con I had about the hotel was the Air Conditioner/heater.  It does its job but is really loud.

Arrived at 2am.... old, a little run down, but okay for somewhere to rest your  head.

Price is as expected $50 Inc tax

Shower was REALLY powerful...
Air con unit was noisy but very effective...

Overall, as expected for the price...... I'd be OK staying here again, but I would check to see if there was something else available first.

OK if there's nowhere else

(Note: my room did not look like the photos that are posted, so maybe I got an old unfinished room or something.  This review is based on the room I stayed in.)  

Great price but old and very worn, picky people stay away.  Was hard to tell if some areas were unclean or just badly worn out (the bathroom was unquestionably decrepit).  A previous customer’s personal items left in a drawer was not a good sign of thoroughness.  No bedside tables/lamps, which were sorely missed.  Below-average bed, linens, and pillows.  Great internet and cable though!  Better than many nicer hotels.  Frig and micro (no coffeemaker).   These extra amenities almost raise the score to 3 stars.  Hope the owners are able to gradually renovate the rooms.

Kinda confused.

It was really late and other rooms booked in town.   Lil place looked nice but once inside Bugs in the bathroom and room, nasty carpet that should have been ripped out.  The walls either need to be washed or repainted.  Probably was nice place at one time but needs some TLC and the pest man.  Wished I paid attention to trip advisor ratings and just slept in the car.

I was first given a smoking room so I went to the office and ask if they have nonsmoking. .. The guy apologized for not asking.  Then ... I sleep with my legs curled up... I stretched them out when I went to roll over and my foot touched something. .. There was a USED CONDOM under the sheets. We went to the office and the woman came to the room very rude and hateful!  She said she changed the sheets herself and she doesn't know what to tell us but there is nothing she can do. So we go back to the office and speak with the guy ... He offered a discount and we refused ... He said I complained about the first room and they just want us gone. THEN THE LADY TELLS US THAT THEY DO NOT CHANG THE SHEETS AFTER EACH CUSTOMER!!! WHAT!?!?!? They use a linen company and if they changed the sheets they wouldn't have enough to last. ... We are making some phone calls Monday morning.  And the pictures above are from a different location. .. This one is very old and out of date.
