Quaint & Clean! We were looking for a different experience than the big Corporate chains and we found it with Belvedere Resort!  All employees were super friendly within each department. We will definitely return for another great stay along the Ocean In Virginia Beach.

Unique Motel

We were unexpectedly delayed in Virginia and went to the Belvedere on a whim, we were so happy with that decision, our room was so cute and we had an amazing view of the beach, everything we needed was in walking distance and wheelchair accessible which meant so much to us, the staff was so friendly and accommodating we will definitely be back!!!

Great Stay!!!

Had a quiet stay at The Belvedere Resort. The day started with quiet time for reading on the balcony, watching the boardwalk traffic, the tide rolling in & then the Naval air traffic start up around 9-10am. Then down to the on site restaurant for a hearty & tasty breakfast. Then a free bike ride along the 5 mile boardwalk. Afternoons back on the balcony for a shade filled comfortable temp on a hot day watching the ships coming & going along with the air traffic.
We enjoyed our room & our stay at The Belvedere!

Quiet time at the Resort

Location is fantastic, rooms are spacious with an amazing view.  Best of all the staff is extremely personable,accommodating and responsive.  When staying at the Belvedere the staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.  I have stayed at alot of places in Virginia Beach but since finding the Belvedere Beach Resort I won't stay anywhere else but there when I visit Virginia Beach.

Excellent Service

Sean was friendly, accommodating and hardworking (as well as the rest of the staff). They alone made our visit! Room was clean, great view and walking distance of everything. The diner was amazing too! 10/10 recommend.

Awesome

This is our first time to Va Beach.  We picked Belvedere Beach Resort because of its cost and location.  The view from the room is truly beautiful and only a few minutes walk to the ocean.  The hotel is clean but could use some updating.  The staff is friendly and very helpful!  They have a wonderful little coffee shop attached to the building.  Parking was sufficient the second week in September.
We really enjoyed our stay.  Virginia Beach is so beautiful!

Perfect Location!

Staff is very welcoming and appreciated our business. Spacious room comfy bed but need new pillows. Shower is good . Great waterfront view right on the boardwalk but overall dated the hotel is dated. Tight hallways older elevator. Great breakfast by far!!!

Great coffee shop

The good is the management and the diner.  We love the family and the food at the little diner is great. Now, the rest of the story.  This "hotel" charges five star rates for two star quality. They used to be better, up to the time they closed to tear down & rebuild.  In the past we have given much better ratings. The room was stained and worn. The "remodel" consisted (in part) of a mirror hung over an old mirror.  The appliances need to be replaced.  The pictures and spreads were so sad.  They should have stayed with the plan to tear down I am sorry to say. So disappointed.   Our trip was July, 2018.



Should Have Rebuilt

we had confirmed reservations for Columbus day weekend 2019. We arrived late on Friday to find the place locked up and deserted. The note on the door said closed for business-thanks for the memories. We ad to scramble to find alternative accommodations-at double the cost

OUT of BUSINESS LEFT US HIGH AND DRY

Building looks rundown. There were ants in our room. There are no usb outlets to charge your electronics, no coffee pot, ice machine was out of order on our floor, elevator was dirty. It is not the same since it was sold. We won’t go back.
