I would like to thank the woodspring suites hotel for hiring a young lady by the name of Cheyenne she was so polite and understanding her vast knowledge of hotel policies helped me decide whether or not I wanted to stay at the woodspring suites hotel whenever you need anything she's always there to Lind helping hand Cheyenne is the true definition of professionalism she is the queen of customer service thank you so much wood spring suites for hiring such a bright light

Feels like home

I had a reservation from July 5th until July 10th.  The lady at the front desk gave me a key to a room and asked me to go check the room to see if I like it before we finalize my reservation.  My husband and I went to check the room.  This room was so small with a bed that was on an iron platform.  We went back downstairs and told her the room was way too small.  and asked for another room.  As she was trying to find us another room, we asked about pots and pans and eating utensils which come with the kitchinette in the room.  She said they don't supply pots and pans, because corporate won't supply them, but she can sell us some pots and pans!  We have stayed at hotels with a kitchen and never have had to purchase pots and pans from the hotel.  Who travels with pots and pans, first of all!  So I told her we will be right back.  We came back after 20 minutes and decided to stay because everywhere else was booked.  She had the nerve to tell me that the room is no longer available and the entire hotel was booked.   I don't believe that.  no one walked in there while we sat in the parking lot looking for a room elsewhere. So I asked her to cancel my reservation.  Then I asked her for the copy of my license that she had made while trying to check us in.  she said she threw it out because she thought I wasn't going to return.  I just hope my license is not being used illegally.  There was also a Gentleman asking her for help about rebooking a room because he arrived a day late and she told him she could not help him. There were also people that looked homeless walking around the parking lot, others looked like they were on drugs walking around barefoot. It did not look safe there anyways. 
 Maybe there was a reason for us not staying there.  The plus side of this story is that we were able to reserve a room in Portsmouth at Quality Inn Suites.  They were wonderful in customer service skills  The room was nice and big with a kitchinette  as well as a jacuzzi!!! and they served breakfast everyday from 6am to 9am.  AND THEY SUPPLIED POTS AND PANS AND PLATES AND SPOONS AT NO CHARGE OR FOR SALE!!!

WRONGEST PLACE TP TRY TO STAY

this place is disappointing. My boyfriend paid 270$ for a roach infested room… woke up to a roach on the wall and walked in to one crawling out the shower drain. Shower had no shower curtain and one towel, I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Outside was drug dealers, and homeless people. Only thing good is that the front desk lady was sweet, and you need a key to enter the building from any entrance. Overall, will not be coming close to this hotel again.

Disgusting

Great price and friendly staff. Nice rooms. Comfortable environment, no noise, clean. Easy access to Oceanfront and Town Center. Close to entertainment, shopping, and restaurants. Didn't have to deal with much traffic. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was nice and the rooms are large when I asked for something for the room they was up here very quick I would tell people to come and stay with this hotel the only way people can in this hotel is with a key they let people bring dogs here which is very nice

I have been at this hotel for a week and a half so far. From the very beginning one of the managers were very rude and unprofessional. First of all he claims he’s second in charge but doesn’t know the correct way to address a customer instead of addressing them as “girl” especially when they are coming to you about a problem YOU’VE made. The fire alarms goes off every single night literally. As much as he would like to say it goes off for our safety that is not safe at all!! It is becoming normal for the fire alarm to go off to the point where some ppl don’t even come out of their rooms when the alarm goes off. he claims if there were to be a real fire we would know because he would run from door to door.🥴  I’m not understanding how he thinks that’s logical when if it is in fact a fire the fire is not thinking about staying contained in one spot long enough for him to knock on every single door in a four story hotel. Not only does the fire alarm go off every night, but the elevator goes out every other day. Somebody I spoke with said  they have been living here for a year and it’s been this way the whole time. That’s sad because for the rooms to be almost $600 a week nothing should be messing up this much. PERIOD! When I asked the manager if he would take off money for disturbing our sleep every night with the fire alarm he then gets sassy and says “no it’s for your safety” that’s not safe for a fire alarm to go off every day like that. It’s actually very alarming and concerning being that like I said it’s becoming normal nobody will know when it’s a real fire I suggest keeping your money DONT STAY HERE!!!

Trash Hotel

Loved my stay very clean smelled good bed comfortable linen fresh .....I must say the GM Lakeisha had us feeling like we was first cousin we laughed so hard at check in she had great humor we definitely will returned around Christmas. 

Great stay 

I really enjoyed myself at this at this establishment, the staff was very friendly and the general manager that was on duty did her best to accommodate to the fullest. Only one small problem that i did have a major concerned that i must address ,which is the roach problem I do believe that this hotel will bloom and take off with more people if this handled in the future.. But in all thank you for all you did. Shall return one day..  

Clean-up the bug problem and watch the people come in.

My stay was great nice font desk house man is polite & housekeeping rock keep up the good work I will be coming back !!! My room was clean & smelled really good also manager is awesome great service , it’s always a very great location right beside town center & mount trash Moore we enjoyed out stay

Clean public areas. The staff is extremely friendly. 
The refrigerator and stovetop work great. When the stovetop did die, it was promptly replaced. Clean linens available upon request. General manager, Lakeisha Biggs is always smiling.
