Good location. Covered parking is nice. The pool area is nice
It is a  large unit (A303). Nice beach chairs. However it is very loud right on the corner of 2 roads, one of which is an old parking lot that has been taken over by homeless people and vehicles.  There were loud neighbors and the condo needs maintenance and  updates in several areas of the condo.

Pros and cons. Overall OK

The unit needs updates especially the beds (too old that made noise just by turning and uncomfortable) in the 2nd bedroom.  The owner needs to provide napkins and toilet papers (we had to buy them).  Overall, it is OK.  Good location.

We had to get a last minute condo...ours was occupied at another place.  It is ok...need updates and yes, there’s critters that need to be attended to.  Overall it’s ok for a family.  One bedroom with a shower/bath. The other has sliding doors and a bath/shower also. Clean and all you need for the short walk to the beach.

Rescued

My sister and I planned a one week vacation together for our two families. This morning I booked room 205B through HomeAway.ca and Kumulani Vacations & Realty. The same morning my sister paid for another condo in Haleakala Shores for her family. A few hours later Kumulani emailed to say that the owners of our condo want to stay there for the same dates as us so they cancelled the reservation without asking. They offered us a condo in a neighbouring resort. They are unwilling to pay the $250 cancellation fee for my sister’s condo so that she can move over to the new resort. We are now forced to pay higher rates for a new room so that our two families can enjoy our vacation together. HomeStay, Kumulani, and the condo owners have offered us nothing to conpensate for our financial loss and inconvenience. All so that the owner could remove us from the condo so they can stay there.

Condos owner cancelled our reservation so they could stay there during our booking.

We had the best time here...great accommodations and we had everything needed for a week in Maiu... Our condo had separate living areas for two couples which made a world of difference in your trip privacy and relaxation with your significant other.

Nice condo, Great price! dated but clean.  Close enough to walk to The beach and town.  You can watch the whales go by between months   December - April.  Good restaurants near by . Nice pool and bbq area. Not a party spot.  Mostly retired owners. Not many kids around. 

Two weeks in Maui!

This condo unit is great.  It never felt too small for our group of 5. 

The unit is very well located, easy to drive to and from.  Bus stop right outside the door, which goes into Kahului. Walking distance to local convenience store and right across from Kamaole beach #3 with good snorkeling and boogie boarding. And 100 meter walk from Kamaole #2 with a lifeguard station and more sandy beach.

The beds slept good (king bed is soft), lots of bedding. 
Lots of extra towels, including beach towels and having a washer/dryer let us take less in our suitcase and leave more room for souvenirs.

It was great that there were a few chiller bags and a cooler.  We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. 

This kitchen had enough dishes, cups and utensils that you only needed to run the dishwasher once a day.  There is a common BBQ and sitting area in the swimming pool area.

When we had an issue we called AA Oceanfront and it was fixed before we got back that night.  

The only suggestion we have is that they install a light on the lanai so one could read outside on the balcony at night. 

The only downside to this unit is the complex it's self.  This complex is probably 70% retirees who don't like loud people/kids and fun play in the pool. The pool rules where very long and boiled down to nothing allowed in the pool but a lifejacket! No jumping, tossing a throw toy, horseplay or other such fun! and the general manager will come out and inform you of this.
