I was very impressed with our room! The mattress and pillows were so comfortable! And the shower: the shower had great pressure and was hot right away. I recommend North Park Inn & Suites to everyone who wants to visit Walden.


The suites are sweet!

The hotel down the road lost our reservation! So we went to NP to see if they had a room for the 3 nights. Luckily we got the last room on Saturday the original cabin which is an interesting building with an interesting history. But too big for the 2 of us so were glad we got a lodge room for the other 2 nights. Very clean and comfortable. The place was packed on Saturday but not crazy loud. The manager was very helpful and informative on the area not just the hotel. We stayed in one of the older rooms last year but we prefer the lodge building. 

Great stay!

Our room was very old, with a cabin-like design.  It looked like something out of the 1950s.  We had two bedrooms and a kitchen with a full-sized fridge and an old range (no microwave).  The bathroom was horrible.  The door wouldn't close all the way, and the linoleum floor was uneven and had gouges in it.  I was afraid to use the rickety-looking shower.  It took a long time to get hot water from the faucet.  The closet had no hangers in it.  The bed was comfortable but sloped to one side.  We had good burgers at the 10th Frame bowling alley.

Badly in need of updating

Located walking distance to bars/restaurants.  I would stay there again and hope to very soon, the locals are very friendly. Check-in staff was friendly, room was extremely clean and well equipped, bed was comfy…what more could you ask for?

Weekend getaway.

I had a spur of a moment needing a room in Walden over this past weekend. The North Park Inn & Suites had some vacancies that fitted my needs. Since I was traveling alone I hadn't wanted more than one room, etc.

This is a 2 star hotel , so if you're looking for a Hilton go to Steamboat 😀.

I found the North Park Inn and Suites accommodation to my needs and more. I hadn't needed a kitchenette but one was in the room & there were supplied cooking utensils and such in the cupboard.
They supplied coffee for their machine i
the room ,  but I brought my own on the off chance.

In the shower, there's also supplies of soap and hair shampoo and conditioner if needed.

There Is an ac unit that can run a fan if needed. I am one that needs the white noise so that was very appreciated to have.

I had done a later check in, the lady at the desk was very kind and helpful. When I did my check out the gentleman was nice too.

I have a work colleague that visits here often for hunting.  When I mentioned where I had booked in Walden they had nothing but great things to say about the property.

If I can figure how to get my video uploaded,  I'll share it.. but i have it on Google atm.

Not enough value for money. In this "middle of nowhere" place too expensive for what you get. Small room. Clean, but basic. 
We didn't like the enormous list of "don'ts", as if we were a bunch of criminals. The list had upto 12 points! Even stipulating how to park your car, etc.....Only liabilities for the customer, meanwhile totally nothing of the description on booking.com matched with reality, so what about that? Usually the longer the list of "you are not allowed and have to pay for..." the less strict they are on themselves. Also didn't like the 3% charge on credit card. We are foreigners travelling 4 weeks through the US: I am not carrying so much cash! Also not experienced in other hotels.

Not enough value for money.

Customer service is easy to work with and  responsive to request. Perfect location to access with trailers. Suitable rooms for a variety of guest or going solo. I would definitely book again when in the North Park area.

Awesome visit

This is one of the neatest and cleanest motels we stay in on our whole trip. The furniture is very unique and fit for the area. The beds were very comfortable and the service was good and very friendly. Parking is good. We would stay here again.

The new owner is a huge jerk. I also had bogus charges in my credit card. The walls are paper thin and you can’t get any sleep. The toilet overflowed twice. You can’t even use the toilet without sitting sideways because the wall it too close to your legs. Do not stay here. There are much better options right down the road.

No sleep, dirty, and bogus charges. It’s a win win right.

Love this place and even under new management. Convenient to all Walden area activities. Parking is right outside your door. The rooms are cozy, moose themed, and clean! The new owners are fantastic and want to provide a quality place to stay in the area. Check them out! 😎
