It was just OK.  No drinking cup of any kind.  No Kleenex.  The room was pretty clean and the bed was OK.  Trucks on Hwy 12 do pass by but if the AC is running or if heating I probably would not notice.

I do wonder why they don't fix little inexpensive things that are wrong.  The door to the room would not latch -- period.  I can tell from the scuffs on the inside people have been kicking at it to get the lock to line up.  I found I could  finally do so by leaning heavily outward on the door.  Surely mgmt knows about this, since the door won't really close every time they make up the room.  So get out a file or a screw driver and fix it.  The room could really use painting, which is not a great capital expenditure.

AC was on and curtains were open when I got there.  That was good.  But it would take 1 minute or less to actually clean the glass on the window so it wasn't a smeary mess.

The room has been updated some, with laminate flooring.

The person that checked me in was very rude! I also very heard him downgrading customers. He was yelling at them! He's been really bossy with the customers. I tried to park, but the person that checked me in has his car at an angle which makes it hard for people to park. But he definitely bullies people! Something needs to be done about him before I ever rent a room again horrible experience! Coffee wasn't ready!

Horrible

Was skeptical about appearance driving up, but all is good! Super friendly owners who met our every request cheerfully (extra blanket, hair dryer, etc). The bed is firm, everything is clean, everything works well. This is not a fancy place at $66 with tax, but we are not fancy people. We will happily stay again another time!

Perfect ski trip accommodation

We’ve stayed here before during hunting season and chose this place again. While it’s not a 4 star hotel (more like 2 1/2) it’s clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and takes dogs.
The folks are nice enough and they do serve coffee, pasties, and store bought cookies in the morning. 
The good. They fixed the shower heads and added a higher connection. Used to be about 5 foot tall. Real pain to take a shower. 
Needs fixing: the WIFI sucks. Get it fixed. Also, how about a few extra shelves in the bathroom. No place to set anything. 
We opted for this place because for the money it’s a pretty decent deal. I’m sure we will be back.

Upland hunting

From the outside yes it could use paint but inside it is a very nice motel no it's not the best western but it's also affordable we loved it we had a suite that had to bedroom's for a very good price .if you dont like the place because of the place needs paint well then it's your loss and my gain.if my wife and I come back through this beautiful little town of Dayton Washington we will stay here.this town is a beautiful place it's well worth the drive

Nicer then appears

Definitely a great place to stay if you are looking for something good. Their customer service is the best. Very humble receptionist she made sure we have all our needs before we entered in our room. Also, price is great compare to other places in the area. The room was very comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast.

Nice place to Stay

This place is truly awful I stayed here for two nights on a business trip.
The heater had two settings off and on, so it was either  too hot and you had to get up and turn the heater off and in a couple hours you were back up to turn it on again because you were freezing. The second night I was woken by a crash I  looked outside and a bum had been going through the trash was trying the doors on my Jeep needless to say I did not sleep well.

The no sleep motel

I booked this motel for anyone who may have needed to overnight it during our son,s wedding at a local venue.  Ended up my sister needed the room.  When she arrived at the wedding reception after checking into the motel she asked me how long it would take to get back to Tri-Cites because she COULD NOT stay at the motel.  It was that bad.  Now mind you she has stayed in some pretty bad places during her travels with the military and was not looking for fancy digs or anything.  She said it smelled bad (I think like urine) towels were used for curtains and there were empty water bottles under the bed.  She chose to drive back to my home in the Tri-Cities late at night for a clean bed.  I would not be reviewing this motel if they had used real photos of the rooms (their full disclosure), but they didn't.  The photos show light, airy, newly remodeled and clean rooms.  And I hate a scam.

We arrived late at night so it was a good place to crash. Bathroom a little dated, but for a small town very good. Nice people and continental breakfast. Not too bad for the price for tired travelers last minute.
