We have stayed in many different rooms in this Inn as we visit Long Beach often. Extra clean, comphy beds and pillows, very spacious rooms great attention to every detail. The king one bedroom is our home away from home. Office staff very helpful and friendly. 

Family visit. Brought our own food and took advantage of the large well equipped kitchen.

We stayed for almost a week. Our room was like a small apartment with a stove and a full-size fridge. The beds are comfortable. The pillows are nice, but I had brought my own. I never did find a luggage rack, but I made it work. They do have a decent wi-fi. The room was clean. The staff brought us an extra fan and extra towels. Everyone was friendly. The property is quite impressive, not far off the beach.  Most of the time, we could park our rental car right out front of our room. We can't wait for our next trip.

Great place to stay

Great find! Suite was large, clean, looks newly renovated. Great location to food, shops, beach. Much better than what some older photos show. Would definitely stay again. Price was right.  Bright and airy. 

Clean, quiet, Large. Fantastic value

Great place close to shops and dining. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was standard with cereal, waffles, pastries and fruit. Bed was super comfy and room although older added to the quaintness that made our visit a memorable one. Only drawback was no AC but since the visit was in October it wasn't needed.

Wonderful stay

This is a basic motel, not much in the way of frills (except for a Keurig with Kcups, Thank you!!), and it shows some signs of age.  However, based on some of the other reviews I’d say the owners have put some money and effort into improvements.  It is dog friendly and located in a handy downtown location not far from shops and kite festival events.  The checkin etc is all done by phone, no clerks on site.  But I noticed that the people in the room next door did get a handyman to come and unclog something so they do handle emergency stuff.  Overall I’m glad we stayed here overnight and would go back.

Budget and dog friendly in a great location.

No a/c but fan available. No breakfast or beverages except for a Kruger machine with several pouches. Lacking table and closet space, but clean and comfortable room. Easy, no -contact check-in. Good location near beach boardwalk and restaurants.

Affordable

This is in the heart of Long Beach...you can walk all over the Main Street shops and even the beach...very friendly and helpful.  The rooms are in need of some serious repairs and updating but are clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use a shelf or some kind of counter...no place to even put toothpaste.  We’re not busy so breakfast was a menu on paper with six or seven choices such as muffin , yogurt, milk, oatmeal and put in a basket for pickup at 8 in morning...we didn’t mind.  Parking was right in front of room which was on side street.

Quaint and great location 

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are a bit older and show some wear - but it was clean enough and a very good size. Decor was cute and beds were comfy. Our room had no heat (room 21) but they offered us a heater and even in March we didn't even use it. Room has everything you need. You walk out the door and are right on the main street to check out all of the little shops and restaurants. Breakfast was basic but was enough for us. Coffee was really good. No noise from the room beside us, you do hear cars in the parking lot as they park right near your bedroom windows, but people are respectful and there was no noise during the night. Very friendly staff when checking in. Check out was simple as you pay when you arrive so all we did was drop off our keys. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area!

Great 2 bedroom suites!

The Coastal Inn was a good choice. Reasonable rates, good breakfast (although scrambled eggs would have been more welcome than cold hard-boiled eggs!) Room was a little small for 4 adults, and there was no freezer in the fridge. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was close to most of the local attractions, and only a short walk to the beach.

Good place to stay

We wanted an inexpensive place to stay while visiting relatives and this was it. Quiet. It was very small. Check in was by phone. We weren't told and didn't realize at first that when we left the room we needed to push the lock button on the code lock panel (I don't really know what it's called) so apparently our room was unlocked for hours. Lots to do in the area. Motel is not exciting but was adequate for our need.
