We stayed at the Yett house and had a wonderful time. It's a quirky old house, not fancy, but a real old time beach house.  We loved every minute here and hope to return. The communication with Susie was excellent, and there are lots of restaurants (and great coffee) within walking distance.

Funky and charming

All of the rave reviews you'll read here are right!  For an impromptu getaway, my wife and I researched B&B's along the coast of Washington, and the reviews online rated this one the best, and to our delight all the reviews about Boreas Inn were spot on.  We stayed for three nights in December.  A lovely and superior B&B experience!  Susie and Bill are seasoned hosts, excellent cooks, and their  experience just shines through in every detail.  If you are seeking a dependable and elegant B&B experience you won't be disappointed!

Wonderful hosts, gourmet breakfasts, close to town and beach

This is our third trip to Boreas B&B Inn.  This fabulous inn is located in the town of Long Beach Washington close to great restaurants and within 20 minutes to Astoria and its great Maritime museum. Boreas has its own private back yard garden and resting places with hot tub and its own path through the dunes to the beach!
The public dining room and living room are cozy and have views to the outside dunes.  The breakfasts are unbelievable with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Bill and Suzie have owned Boreas for 25 years and they love to share their enthusiasm and wisdom about the surrounding area.
Our room, The Pacific, was light filled, had a large view of the dunes and ocean and had a bed I could have lived in!

Our favorite place to stay on the Long Beach Peninsula

We had a really enjoyable time in our 2-night weekend stay at Boreas Inn. The room was clean and beautiful, with much attention to detail like fresh cut flowers. The hosts are gracious and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The inn is located within easy walking distance of both the beach and the downtown area of Long Beach. The hot tub is really nice, and the jetted tub inside our Dunes room is even nicer. Suzy and Bill did an amazing job of preparing and serving a delicious gourmet breakfast. They shared some really interesting stories mixed in with the pleasant conversation with them and other guests during the meal. Everything about our stay there went great!

We had a great experience at Boreas Inn!

My husband and I needed a change of scenery from up North so spent two lovely nights last week at Boreas Bed and Breakfast. The Hideaway Room has a fabulously comfortable  King Size  bed and everything else one could need. The indoor and outdoor spaces were lovely with a guest fridge and wine glasses to use. The breakfasts were to die for and met our foodie needs with fab hosts Bill and Susie teaming up to treat their guests to delicious treats.  We’ve stayed in dozens of Bed and Breakfasts over the years and Susie and Bill’s breakfasts are definitely in the top 3.  They were also very pandemic-conscious with sanitizers, wipes, individually wrapped treats and nuts, and by spreading out the guests for breakfast. Susie also made dinner reservations for us for both nights we were there. Stay here when visiting Long Beach:  you won’t regret it!   

Short Gettaway 

I have had a few experiences at BNB or AirBNB and this was a wonderful surprise. I booked directly after finding Boreas online. Prior to our arrival I received a few emails from Susie asking about dietary restrictions and offering to make dinner reservations for us, which we took her up on. We arrived to a really nice, restful environment with two sweet innkeepers wanting to ensure our stay was safe, pleasant and wonderful in every way. The property has a path through the dunes to the Discovery Trail and the beach, which we wandered to each day. The breakfast was spectacular. I’m gluten free and they made wonderful gourmet breakfasts. We stayed in the Pacifica room which was so nice and airy. Susie and Bill made recommendations on things to do and were so resourceful. We will definitely be back. 

A delight in every way

My husband and I have been going to bed and breakfasts for our anniversaries for the 14 years of our marriage. We booked here and it looked very cute, but when we arrived, we were blown away by our great hosts and the clean and kept house. 

We found out that they have owned it for a number of years, after chatting with them for a little bit. It was easy to chat as they were very relational and were also able to answer our questions about Longbeach since we’d never been there. (We live in Seattle, and this was a get away we weren’t sure would be able to happen).  We got a little history lesson about Longbeach, and our hosts were more then pleased to answer all our questions and advise us of activities as we inquired.

They also put in beautiful littles details throughout the house to make it feel so quaint, and yet amazingly safe and clean during Covid. The rooms feel clean and are thoroughly sanitized —- (my husband even saw the machine being started in one of the rooms as soon as a couple checked out). They have hand wipes everywhere and wipe things down.

The snacks that are provided are even put into individual portions which keep them fresh and still accessible. There are huge amounts of teas/other drinks available at all times. Our hosts even suggested places to eat for lunch and dinner and made the reservation for us once we decided on the location! 

Another thing that we really appreciated was the hot tub housed in a gazebo facing the sunset which accommodate only one couple at a time. They have a whole process in place to ensure privacy and the feeling that you are the only ones at the B&B, even if there are multiple couples there.

To top it all off, there was an exquisite breakfast with multiple courses, high quality ingredients and food, and delicious flavors. We were able to dine outside for breakfast, and I ate enough that it ended up being my breakfast and lunch!

We are so glad we were able to get away, and look forward to returning in the near future!

Beautiful anniversary accommodations

My late wife and I had visited the Boreas Inn a couple of times and loved it, the last visit in (I think) 2015 before her health declined enough to make travel too difficult. She passed away 2 years ago. I recently started a new relationship, and we were both eager to get away from the urban craziness and travel together for the first time. No better way to relax and make some new memories than two nights at the Boreas! Comfortable bed, the sound of the ocean at night, a killer breakfast in the morning...the only regret was having to leave!

Great location, gourmet breakfast, great hosts

Our stay was so very relaxing. It was the first time we are "out" since COVID started. We felt well taken care of. The hosts were very conscientious in regards to masks and cleaning. The breakfast was BY FAR, the best we've ever had any any B&B we've stayed at. And Long Beach is a great destination. We rarely return to a B&B twice, but I think we'll be coming back here again.
