Went to Watkins Glen for an event at the track and stayed here because some friends have stayed here the past 4 years.  
It is a quaint little motel just a couple blocks from Watkins Glen State Park. It is within easy walking distance from the shops, restaurants and the lake.  Burger King and Dunkin Donuts are just across the street along with a nice ice cream shop that sells homemade ice cream. 
The rooms are just a smidge small, but they were nice and were clean.  I would have absolutely no problem staying here again and will most likely do so again next year. 

Surprisingly nice

Old style motel with fantastic updates! This was one of those rare finds; clean, reasonably priced, walking distance to everything AND you park your car right at your door. We were pleasantly surprised and will stay here if we get back to this area (already recommended to friends from Ontario!). Owner was so pleasant as well.

Old style “motel” but totally updated!

We stayed 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend, for the first time, and already booked the same for 2024. Clarissa and Gary, owners, did a fabulous job rebuilding this motel 10 years ago and everything still looks clean, neat and fresh. All the furnishing are top notch and the location can not be beat. We parked our car and walked everywhere including to Watkins Glen State Park just across the street. We are so glad we chose this attractive and affordable Motel in Watkins Glen. An EXCELLENT stay at Watkins Glen Motel!!!

Stayed here for two nights while sightseeing and enjoying the wineries.  Location was very good, right by the entrance to the state park. Rooms were nice size and very clean.  Ample on site parking. Would stay here again . Bed was comfortable and room had microwave and mini refrigerator 

Would come back again

Clarissa corresponded with us quickly when we had questions before our trip and was welcoming when we arrived. She gave us a quick orientation to the town. The motel is a short walk to the lake and to all the restaurants. It is almost right across the street from the state park, which was awesome. The room was very quiet and comfortable. It was helpful having a refrigerator in the room, and although the room had no coffee maker, there was coffee for guests in the office. We would stay there again if we come back to Watkins Glen.

We stayed here one night for our birthdays. The owner was very nice and mapped out for us all the nearby restaurants as well as recommended some wineries to try out. The room has a key to lock it, not a card, which was charming. The place was super clean. Will stay here again next time.

Nice place to stay

Neat and clean motel. Well situated in the heart of town. Comfortable room, newer bed, well stocked bathroom. Cleaned and sanitized daily during our stay. We will definitely put this facility on our short list for our next trip to Watkins Glen!

Clarissa welcomed us and helped us with all the information we needed to start our visit to Watkins Glen.  Rooms are neat and clean and all you need .
The location is perfect to walk to the State Park into town for meals and shopping

Small, clean and close to everything in town

This small motel was surprisingly nice! The owners were very nice.  Our room, #14, while small, was very clean and updated. It is a 1 block walk to the Watkins Glen State Park, which is great for getting there early in the morning if you are not a morning person.  Easy walk into town too - I think it is about a 1.5 mile walk through town to the lake.  Dunkin Donuts us 1 block the other way if you want breakfast.  After walking down the side streets, we also figured out how to get around the traffic on the main road.  Definitely glad we chose this hotel over the others!

Excellent Location for the State Park and Town

The location of the motel is near enough to town to walk and the gorge across the way. The owners very friendly. The room small but very clean. Alittle over priced but it was close to town, easy to find and Clean !!!
