I knew it was going to be very rough around the edges, and you get what you paid for. But to require a $100 deposit, it would take 5x that to bring it to motel 6 level. The door looks like it's been through several police beeches.

Don't expect the rooms to resemble a legit motels rooms

I would give negative 100 stars to this roach motel. It is the most horrible motel I have ever seen in all my life. We had a PREPAID reservation and they cancelled without refund it (we discovered that when we arrived). There were roaches running around outside the office, the check in lady spoke poor English and was in a night gown. It smelled like urine and was an absolute nightmare. How this place is still in business is beyond my capacity to understand and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Run do not walk away, then shower with bleach!!

This is a nasty hotel. The office is not open - upon arrival you transact through a security window with a staff member who barely speaks a word. The rooms are dark. there is no chair. The TV did not work. None of the furniture matches. The bed makes a sheet metal boom when you like down. the coverlet has what looks like a cigarette hole in it. The walls are a revolting brown finish. It looks passable online. It is dire in real life. Avoid.

Depressing dump

On line it looked OK for an overnight business trip. I was terribly wrong.
No phone for front desk and emergency use.
No place to hang clothes
No chairs
No desk
Loose black hair in the sink and tub. Cracks in both and cigarette burns on the tub near the toilet.
Poor wifi..I admit that the man at the front desk gave me access to one of the locked wifi channels that finally got me on line.
No coffee in the room or at the reception desk
No cups for drinking water
No extra covers

Over all it was just a room with a bed and shower...sure it would have been fine for a one night stand but that wasn't my kind of party. Typically I stay in over 50 hotels a year so I am not an entitled whinner. Oh yeah...they jacked up the rate for the weekend had I wanted to extend a night. NO thanks!

I rarely submit a bad review because I usually ok with a place to sleep..but this place is a very good example of facility neglect and a dash for the cash property!

Nope..no here unless You are on a very tight budget!

The room was not too bad but the area leaves a lot to be desired - it is not the sort of area you would feel safe to walk around late at night to be truthful we stacked our 3 suite cases against the door as when we parked up it was late and there were some people sitting outside some of the other rooms that looked very dubious - i thought we may not have a hire car outside when we get up but we were both tired and as long as we had clean sheets on the bed we decided it was this place or carry on driving to god knows where - the reports about the manager are true he was very abrupt - sort of "take it or leave it I couldn't care less" attitude but as i said I was too tired to drive further - the room itself was reasonable - I mean it was only just acceptable the toilet was clean and that was about all - it cost us $95 for one night and I was happy to see the car still had all 4 wheels on when we left next day I have to say we do not have wifi when we are travelling so it is difficult to see reviews and bear in mind we have stopped at worse once we kept our cloths on at a hotel just outside LA so it was not all bad, as I said it is acceptable if you really need to stop over for one night and one night only

one night just ok if your desperate

This place is now Watsonville Inn. My parents booked 3 rooms here; 1 for my hysband, me & family, & two others.  We were coming to town a day earlier.  When we arrived,  the man behind the counter (middle eastern) was not friendly from the start. He said he didn't have a reservation for me. I gave him my dad's name,  since he booked the room,  but he saud he didn't have it under that name either. I pulled out my paperwork with confirmation #, he claimed he still couldn't find it, & said the # was only a booking.com #, not his.  He was extremely rude the entire time. Every time I tried to explain that I had called directly to confirm,  he interrupted me. I called my dad for more info & tried to use the back of a card on the counter to write on, when he started yelling at me to not use the card (yanked it out of my hand). After a 9+ hour drive, I was tired & finally got mad & raised my voice too. That's when he then said he had a room for $199, which was about $60 more than our reservation from 3-4 weeks before!  Ar whuch point I got very upset and told/yelled at him that he needed to honor the original price. He then told my husband if he didn't get control of his wife (me) that he would take care of me himself & started to come out from behind the counter. I called 911 immediately.  As I was dialing, I heard him tell the attendant on duty to cancel my reservation if he did find it, that he wasn't going to rent to me - not that I would have stayed after that! Cops came & took a complaint & helped me get my paperwork work back (left it in the lobby).  Even they said he was rude & refused to give them his name.   After checking with booking.com, they said they believe he was probably trying to get higher rates, as the entire region is booked for a 30+ mile radius (unless you want to pay $400+ a nite for a below average 3 star hotel). 

Criminal & Threatening!  DO NOT STAY HERE! 

First of all, the lady at the front is extremely RUDE! When checking in, she charged us seperately for the room & $10 for the extra person. She swiped my card three times as I watched her press the 'cancel' button on the machine. She then said that it would not take my credit card & that I had to pay CASH. When I asked her for a receipt, she just wrote it down on a piece of paper. Mind you, she could have just charged me in one transaction when I paid for the room. 

Aside from the unfriendly lady at the front desk, our hotel room was less than okay. The comforter was dirty, pillows smelled & shower was clogged. I was scared to lay on the bed so I bought lysol to disinfect the place. I had to slam the front door real hard for it to lock. 

Think twice before booking!

THEY canceled my room(on the day of my arrival) that i booked for $100 months prior & not 2 mins later told me that I had to pay the rate of $239 instead b/c it was canceled. BY THEM .on accident. They canceled and told me that my room had already been given away within just minutes. I had my husband call and ask for a room and what do you know, they had one..the same one they had just canceled. So I took the phone back and told her I would like my room back and why did she just 30 seconds ago tell ME that they were booked? Of coarse she had no answer.

Then she told me that I would have to pay the going rate of $239 even though it was THEIR mistake! Said the manager approved a 10% disc. for me. 

On top of all that, the man called me to ask what time I would be arriving. When I told him it would be after 9pm he got irritated and asked if I could be there sooner. No I could not, So he said I would have to call when I knew exactly what time I would be there. 

The family we would be driving with did not get this call, so they called to confirm their reservation only to find out that the woman that took their reservation (with confirmation code TWO MONTHS PRIOR) wrote their c/c number down wrong and didn't complete the reservation...BUT SHE NEVER CALLED TO TELL THEM AND GET THE CORRECT NUMBER! SHE DID NOT EVEN BOOK THEM A ROOM!! They thought they had a reservation w confirmation, but nope! And guess what, the entire town BOOKED UP...all of this happened a little after 3pm the date of arrival.

These two incredibly rude, irresponsible, greedy individuals absolutely ruined my ONLY vacation this year

Values money over customer service

filthy decrepit substandard etc.... hotwire needs to blacklist this place. Wish I could of seen the place first. The dirty pics are of the room I stayed in 204 but someone else uploaded them. See they dont improve the place despite complaints
