Horrible. This place feels old and dirty. Raggedy renovations. Bad electrical outlets. Rooms crammed with old thread bare chairs. Door locks barely work. Old, tight little bathroom with no place to put anything. And you better bring snacks. Breakfast consisted of two Little Debbie cinnamon rolls, a green banana and orange juice served up in a dirty looking recycled bottle. Room not serviced overnight. No thanks

I wouldn’t stay in this place again if they paid me

I was not told, nor asked, the options but given most expensive room$210 Sunday night.  Loud bag on door & 2 pieces of French Toast left outside door in AM.  Road traffic in AM.  Footsteps overhead at night.  Could be cleaner and better lighting.  Felt ripped off.

Beautiful place amazing breakfast and great employees 😊 definitely recommend staying here cuz it is a nice getaway and the grounds are beautiful. Even a great place for the kiddos turn the heat off on the hot tub or the jetted tub and you've got yourself swimming pool for these babies

Amazing

If the owners of this establishment spent half the energy on cleaning as they do on marketing, this place might have some potential. As is, it is over-rated and way over-priced. Pretty much a dusty, worn-down old house that has a nice coat of paint on the outside. If you frame this as just a stopover on the dusty stagecoach trail, ok, but not by any means a romantic B&B.  We were greeted by a moldy rotting pumpkin at the front door that appears was there since Halloween (our visit was early March), after passing dirty porch chairs covered in bird droppings & ash trays full of cigarette butts. None of that improved over our visit. The bed sheets were blotched with bleach stains. Rooms were dusty, wood looked like it was dying of thirst (amazing what some lemon oil & a dust rag could've done). Furnishings are just plain worn out and depressing, with no continuity of theme (seriously, why was there an Egyptian sarcophagus in the corner of our room??). We couldn't wait to check out of here. Major overhaul needed.

Dusty Stagecoach Stop, at best....

Traveling to Weatherford for a funeral with  a good friend, we chose Angel's Nest B&B because I personally do not care for motels.  We booked their least expensive room (#6) because this was an unplanned trip and it also had 2 king size beds, so we each would have our own bed.  
We thought the house was charming as we toured downstairs.  Our room was on the 2nd floor, which gave my bad knee a little discomfort, but I took it slow and easy.  The room was large, the beds were super comfortable.  Our room is the only one with the private bathroom across the hall, but that never presented any problem for us.  We rested well and were amazed the next morning when our breakfast was delivered to our door at exactly the time we had requested.  The presentation was beautiful and it tasted delicious!  
We both wanted to see other rooms for possible future visits with our husbands.  We asked and were taken to see the rooms that were not occupied.  That will help with future plans.
The house is very old, which I adored.  You have to expect "old house" issues.  The toilet drained and filled slowly, but it worked.  They were working on a roof repair when we arrived but he was finishing up for the day.  Old houses are always in need of something.  If you want a historic and nice place to stay in Weatherford that is totally not a commercial motel environment, but instead a charming visit in time, then consider the Angel's Nest.

Pleasant Stay, Will Return Again

Owner collects payment IN FULL with NO EXCEPTION for CANCELLATION.  Wanting to support the success of small business, I booked for a wedding weekend.  Due to COVID, the wedding was cancelled.  With no reason to vacation in the area - and a one (1) way, 6 hour drive, I called to request an exception to policy for refund.  DENIED!  In addition to multiple un-returned phone calls.  Owner extended option for use at another time - but, it's not convenient for a two (2) night stay.  OUT OF POCKET $450 plus....NOT IMPRESSED.

Buyer BEWARE!!

While moving our Mom from North Texas to Hill Country, we stopped for the night at Angel’s Nest B&B. We had rooms 1 through 3 and everyone in our family had a great time, slept soundly and awoke refreshed and ready for the day’s journey. The house is beautiful with amazing wood work and furnishings. Candice was the perfect host and was even able to accommodate our three dogs!

Angel’s Nest was Lovely!

We first stayed at Angel's Nest 25 years ago as a young married couple. As a middle-aged married couple we thought it would be cool to return. This grand ancient house on the peak of the county is a delight. Her Victorian opulence allows you to travel back in time while enjoying all the modern conveniences. We stayed in the tower and enjoyed a lazy weekend in Weatherford, taking full advantage of the house's broad pourches and generous views. Our voyage to Angel's Nest was like our marriage: Even Better 25 Years Later.

Even Better 25 Years Later

Let me first start off with for many years I have been a fan of this place. I have always seen it form the out side driving pass and I am in love with it and always have been. But the stay it self the whole 2 hours that I was there. From the moment I walked in the door I was very shocked by the look. Till I went up stairs to the room that we booked. The first thing we notice was that there was dust every where and the tv the woman keep saying had prombles where it would or would not work so we can play with it. She walked out and after our long drive I pulled the sheets back on the bed to lay down and all the sheets both queen beds had fecal  and dirt and hair all in it ... after waiting almost an whole hour they came n change the sheets while putting the clean ones on top of the old ones. On top of that she gave me two reason why this could have happen the ppl could not have clean the room or the last ppl had dogs either way the room was nasty and then to top it all off o asked for the comforter to be changed and she came back with one she pull out of storage that was cover in dust so bad that her black pants and shirt was cover in it as well... then to top it off the woman got the owner and she refused to give us our money back.. worst places ever the worst I’m so sad because I have always been a fan of this house !! Worst stay ever

My wife and I made late plans to visit the Angel’s Nest B&B for our yearly anniversary getaway over New Year’s.  We booked two nights in room ten (by far the room with the most allure), but was called the next morning saying that room wasn’t available after booking online.  Candice the owner was nice on the phone but wasn’t real apologetic... just said that it was an issue, and they could put us in room 4 which was just as popular.  Should have read the reviews on Trip Advisor because the old bait and switch appears to be common practice here.  They did offer room 10 the second night so we said that was fine and just tried to remain patient, and choose to have a good time.  We arrived to no response at the door for 5 minutes.  The ladies on staff were friendly enough in person and were shown our room in #4... Nice but no where near the same as what I had paid for in room 10.  The big issue with this room was a huge tv that operated only on internet streaming and the tv kept cutting out, so that was annoying.  We tried calling about the tv yet no answer and no response a message we left.  The tub in room 4 took 25 minutes to fill, but we understood it being an old house.  No big deal... we had time.  Told the staff the next morning about the tv and was told “well that happens often in all the rooms”.  So that amenity was not available as advertised.  We waited until room 10 to be cleaned later that day and transferred our belongings over.  There was no comparisons in rooms, so a little bummed we were charged the same rate for a room we didn’t book, and didn’t have the same perks (the online price was cheaper for room 4 BTW).  So about 5pm we decide to use the amazing jetted tub in the upstairs bathroom, and of course it didn’t work.  So we started to call and contact the staff for help.  For the next 6 hours, no response and no call back after 3 calls and messages we left until 7:45.  We decided to also put our request for help on our breakfast order and set it outside the door.  It was in fact picked picked up but not even an knock at the door to acknowledge our issue.  It wasn’t until after 11:00pm that we got a call back from Candice with the excuse being she was sick and didn’t check her phone.  After seeing this same issue on numerous other reviews, I call BS.  How do you run an inn and not have a way for people to reach staff for problems?  I can understand a tv and a jetted tub not working. Things happen, but I was more than disappointed that we paid for these rooms and they didn’t give us what was advertised.  Then we were ignored when we had issues, and made for a less than stellar experience.  The house was really neat, but very poor customer service by the staff.  We tried to remain patient through it all, but found it impossible not to be a little upset in the end.  The booking issue, the tv and tub not working, and the staff avoiding any issues we had pretty much deserves the worst rating we can give.  Especially after similar experiences were shared by other guests.  We’ll give it a couple bonus points for being a neat historic house.  Wish I didn’t just look at B&B.com’s reviews before we went which were not indicative of our experience.
