I live around the corner, but wanted a single-night getaway. The price was right, but I should have known what that meant. The staff upfront was nice. The checkin was quick and efficient. 
I've worked in Housekeeping as an Inspector for a Global Hotel chain, so it's in my nature to look over everything in the room. 
The windows are dirty, one of the beds were what is called "Popped" (meaning that they shake out the sheets, make them flat and tuck them again, without actually changing them!) I notice hairs in one of them, so I went to the front and got new linen, and changed it again, myself. The carpet wasn't vacuumed, and there was a vodka bottle laying under a chair. The light was broken and falling off the wall. The fire alarm was detached and laying on the microwave. It hadn't been cleaned, either. The fridge was dirty. The bathroom floor had ashes on it, so it wasn't mopped. The shower curtain had mold all along the bottom. The tub had black mold around the drain. The wallpaper was peeling. This room basically should have been a "DNR" room. You "Do Not Rent" a room with housekeeping and maintenance issues. 
I brought this up in the morning, then they put the room in DNR. It was discovered when I unpacked, that I left my Virgin Healthmiles work funded pedometer was left on the nightstand. 
I called, they said that the manager or maintenance staff would need to escort me into the room if I'd like to check for it, since it wasn't turned in. 
I went back with the maintenance man, the room had been once overed and the beds made and trash taken out. That was about it. The room was still in the same condition, and AGAIN we discovered a "Popped" bed!! 
Anyways, the device wasn't in there, it's been 4 days now that I've been told the Manager would reach out to me, and he hasn't. They won't even TELL ME HIS NAME, and I've been super nice and upfront about wanting to help them with their Customer Appeal. 
I am appalled that he doesn't care enough to even call. 3 employess have promised to relay the message, and one told me that the Housekeeping staff has a "history of theft". 
If I can't even get an apology, that's just sad. I'd expect a partial refund or discount on the next stay, but an apology would be the LEAST!! Wow.

Terrible experience, 4 days later, and still no response from Manager

I got in late after having made a reservation a week earlier. The young lady at the front desk was affable and helpful. 
When I got to the room, it was warm, clean and comfortably appointed. Upon examining the sheets, I found them to be clean and soft. No stains or tell-tale discolorations.
 The toilet, bathtub/shower and sink, were all clean. Both trash cans were empty and the microwave and dorm fridge were spotless. There were no odors nor overpowering sprays to "cover" them. The furniture is typical pressboard motel models and basic. But there were no burns, spots or debris. Again, clean! 
The sink worked properly as did the shower. In fact, great pressure in the shower!  Towels and wash cloths were not luxuriant, but clean and soft. 
The room was well lit in all areas as well as the parking lot. I travel A LOT! I will be staying here in the future!

Clean and inexpensive!

I was skeptical, but this is my husband's choice, and his favorite type of motel, so I went along quietly. It turned out to be a SUPER clean room, carpet looked new and everything is just spotless. I couldn't ask for more cleanliness than this. I see not one thing wrong with this room at all. It's right off of I-75, and it seems to be filled with fellow travelers. I'm not sure why people think they are going to get stabbed as one review said, or when they were here when it was a dump. It certainly is no dump. It's not the Residence Inn....of course it's not for the price. No coffee maker.....just an ice bucket, 4 clean, wrapped cups, soaps, towels, clean bed.....cable tv, free wifi and breakfast included. I have no complaints whatsoever. We stayed in a more expensive Best Western on our way down on this trip, and it was a vomithole. My husband woke up with a tick crawling on his chest. We weren't sure if it was a tick or a bedbug, but it turned out to be a tick. That really made me angry when we spent almost $90 for the room, and that was with a AAA discount. This place is cleaner.

Cheap, clean and friendly....

With a $60 nightly rate, we had low expectations for this property.  Expectations were met!

Here are the positives:
Friendly staff, clean room, great water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water.  Did I mention it was only $60?

Negatives:  Bed sheets a bit worn (for that matter, everything in the room was a bit worn), strange odor coming from the air conditioning unit (a combination of perfume and pine), lighting in the room a bit dim and the late night check-in area reminded me of a currency exchange with the bullet proof glass and metal drawer for sliding credit cards/paper work back and forth.  

Speaking of bullet proof glass, my son commented that the room reminded him of the motel scene from the movie "No Country for Old Men".  Some of the characters in the movie didn't fare so well.  We did fine.

Would I stay there again?  Probably not, but I've stayed at worse and it wasn't a bad value at all.  If you're not particular, only need a place to lay your head for a night and have a limited budget (or are cheap on occasion, like me), this place is fine.

Went in with low expectations - Expectations met!

Right off the highway, this small motel was a nice find.  Spacious rooms, awesome water pressure in the shower, good area(restaurants/shops in short distance.)  The beds were a little on the hard side, but for a tired traveler it wasn't bad.  Floors were a little dingy too, but we didn't pay for the Hilton so I won't complain.  The only bad side, during check-in I asked about local places to eat, the lady behind the counter recommended BW3.  Dear hotel workers of the world, support your local economy!  We want to hear about good local food, not what we can eat at home.  

p.s. if you stay here, there is a bar down the street called Cavanaughs(sp?) during our trip they had $5 you-build burgers.  Pretty good local spot!
