Great service but very outdated property. The maintenance in the room was poor, the AC was very noisy.

Long Weekend in Cape Cod

The stay at this hotel was unremarkable. The check-in and checkout process was cordial but lacked personal engagement. While the room was clean, it clearly showed signs of aging and overuse. The air conditioning was very noisy, forcing us to turn it off in order to sleep.

Average stay

We are not looking for The Waldorf when we vacation. We prefer a clean, modestly-priced motel so we have more money available for food and fun.  This place fits the bill nicely.  We stay here regularly so we know it well. It is by no means a fancy place to stay, but it has a comfortable bed, a working shower, and it's clean and neat.  Moreover, the service is excellent. The main benefit to this motel is LOCATION--Dennis is centrally located so that everything on Cape Cod is a short drive away.  We can jump in the car and dash off to Orleans, Hyannis, Truro, Wellfleet, Chatham or Brewster in 30 minutes or less. There are so many beaches and seafood joints that we will never be finished exploring. There is excellent dining at Sundancers right across the street, or a short trip down the road at Kream & Kone (amazing fried seafood). I am open to staying in other locations but have not found one better.  My wife and I usually vacation during the "shoulder months" (May and September), so the experience will be different at the height of the season. The biggest drawback, in season, is the parking, which can be a bit cramped.

Modestly priced, central location...we LOVE it

Room was clean, bathroom needed upgrade, Need grab bar in shower. Faucets were mixed up! Nice tv. Comfortable beds. Quiet

ok for our purposes

Affordable, clean room, liked the bright and warm decor, easy access to all I wanted to do locally on a cross Cape bicycle ride, friendly efficient office clerk, didn't expect breakfast items but they were there, most hotels don't seem to offer this anymore 

Affordable, clean

Room was small but adequate for our needs. Fresh towels provided and bin emptied which was appreciated. Was easy to see everything on Cape Cod that we wanted based in West Dennis. Plenty of on site parking. Hassle free check in / check out. 

Small room but good location for exploring Cape Cod

This is a basic hotel/motel.
Clean, comfy and simple. Two levels and an outdoor pool (very clean)
I stayed just one night. A simple overnight.
Golf is close. Restaurants are close and its a short walk to Beaches/cream ice cream shoppe.
Staff was helpful, parking plentiful. Rooms are small and VERY basic.
After a day out and about I wanted to settle in and watch some television. Many channels unavailable, not a big deal.
Worth the cost.
Ice machine needed to be cleaned.

Basic/quick

staff was friendly and kind motel was very clean only thing i can say is maybe in the futur to have a b.b.q area and maybe upgrade the washrooms other than that it was a nice stay. Pool was big and clean kid's loved it

long week-end trip

Everything was fine besides windows, that were locked. What's a point to sleep with AC on, if you are on the Cape? It wasn't hot at all during the night, around 70 degrees. Please do something with your windows

I wish I could have open a window

If all you're concerned about is a low rate, this motel is for you at $125 a night. You get what you pay for. The Hampton Inn down the road was $250 a night, and I wish we stayed there.

The room had the just cleaned chemical smell mixed with mildew from the small, horrible bathroom. The ceiling was cracked, the tub was chipped and the toilet was so low it was uncomfortable. 

Whenever the room upstairs flushed or showered, it sounded like a flood was hitting our room.

The TV had a black spot, and when I told Mrs. Tu (one of the owners) about it, she didn't understand what I was talking about, and said she would tell her husband. 

The breakfast was a huge disappointment. Two cereals that were in dispensers that didn't change. (Raisin bran and Fruit Loops) There were stale packaged pastries as well. The "breakfast room" was small, and could have used a good cleaning.  The coffee though was hot and fresh. The milk was in a bowl with ice packs. Breakfast was only available from 7:30 to 9 am. And why was the refrigerator locked?

They kept one point for a great location. It was 10 minutes from Hyannis, and 5 minutes from the beach and restaurants. 

My advice, spend more $$ and stay at a nicer place. Wyndham should take their name off this old place. It needs a lot of work to bring it up to today's standards, especially the bathrooms.
