Awesome spot for a weekend getaway.  Best value for your buck in town. The continental breakfast, pool, sauna and game room make it all especially with it. You also cannot beat its proximity to Mt snow. I will certainly be returning many times in the future.

Great Establishment

the service was amazing and welcoming, the pool and sauna are well kept and the perfect place to relax, breakfast was fantastic and the host did an amazing job. there is parking right out side of each room, and the proximity to ski resorts is unbeatable

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway

What a wonderful place to stay! This is a family-owned business with not only amazing quality accommodations but so much kindness and warmth. The Indian food is amazing, and they are also accommodating to any dietary needs (vegan, veg, gluten-free--whatever you need). We had a great time enjoying the beautiful surroundings and loved this as a warm and welcoming place to come back to each night.

Wondeful family-owned lodge

I read the reviews before I decided to roll the dice. Honestly there are not many choices for Mt. Snow, but the negative reviews are correct and while the inn keepers rebuttals seem plausible, believe me this is no bueno! The rooms do have heat, but they turn them off when not used and take 1-2 hrs to get comfortable, just plan ahead if you decide to roll the dice as we did. Beds uncomfortable, carpets stained, some musty smell, I thought was urine, but may have just been an old dank smell. While the inn keeps may be nice as can be, it does not change where you will be staying. The room as not the cleanest as well, I know I could have complained but we already moved our room due to loud noise from above and no heat so what’s a little dirt. The place is just old and not well maintained. That cannot be disputed. Anyway, wish the owners well but this place may just be that fun story you will tell others if you decide to risk it.  My honest non-privileged warning. Don’t.

Underappreciated lodge in W. Dover.

Sensible hospitality on the part of the owners.

Had no problems at all with my stay for a quick skiing weekend with some friends. Staff is world class friendly people with amazing service. The location is all the matters and after a long a day of skiing we were able to easily relax and get some dinner very close by. 10/10. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to ski at Mt snow and not break the bank yet still have quality sleep.

Great place. No complaints. Perfect location

I stayed here for a few nights.  The place was pretty good.  The inn keepers were super friendly and know the area well.  The parking lot was cleared of snow early making it easy to get to the ski mountain early.  The room was ok, the only issue I had was the shower was small.  I think if it had one of those rounded curtain rods, it would make it much larger and I wouldn’t get hit by the curtain.  The towels were also a bit too small.  There is WiF in the lobby area, breakfast was simple and good.  The place is quiet.

Decent sleep, great inn keepers

The owners are great - very friendly and attentive.  No, this isn't the Ritz, but it is clean and well run.  The rooms are small and there's no wi-fi in them (as advertised) but we have no complaints about our stay.  The continental breakfast was better than average and the pool area was nice.  If you don't want to break the bank but do want to stay close to Mount Snow - this place gets the job done.

Great owners.  Clean, no frills ski lodge.

This is our second season staying at the Austrian Haus and my family loves it. We stay at least 10-15 nights per season and we have never been let down. The staff is wonderful, accomodating and we will be back as soon as the mountain opens next season! The continental breakfast makes life in the morning quick and easy if you have kids and the indoor pool is perfect to relax after a day of skiing. The rooms are small but perfect for a family of four. They have larger rooms but we have no need for them yet. The location is perfect for both the mountain access and the quaint town of Wilmington (great restaurants). Thank you Ketan and Shetal for another amazing winter.

Another fun year!

We love the Austrian Haus Lodge. We stay there every time we go to Mount Snow, and we love it every time. If you're looking for fancy rooms, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a great location, friendly staff, and a fantastic indoor pool for a reasonable price, you'll be pleased.
