Ski in, ski out hotel with very friendly staff. It is not fancy hotel, but ok to stay with family. The murphy bed was comfortable for 2 kids. Complimentary valet service was very convenient. Free espresso machine and soda water machine were my favorite every morning. The hotel has variety activities every night for kids. I enjoyed smores and comedy show. Kids went to heated pool every night after all day ski. There were dry sauna and steam sauna near pool too.

Friendly staff with fun kids activities

Hotel was great, ski in, ski out location. Stayed with a family of 4 in a room with two twins and there was plenty of room. Valet service was excellent and upon arrival, they took our skis and had them ready for the next morning in the ski storage area in back on the trail. Service was excellent, everyone was very helpful with our requests. I have read some negative comments about this hotel and I don't get it, yes it's not not the Ritz Carlton but its very clean and the staff was extremely accommodating. You are definitely paying a premium to be slope side. Restaurant on premises was very good and an easy option after a long day of skiing (recommend you make reservations if a weekend).  

Great family stay

This place and area is absolutely trash.  Specifically reserved a room with a refrigerator and when we checked in there wasn’t one.  We had one delivered to our room, which was good, but one of our friends had the same issue and they told them they would need to wait til the morning to get their fridge because no one was available to bring it up. 
During the “off season”, they have one restaurant open three days during the weekend.  They have a cafeteria that’s small and way over priced and is only opened till 2pm.  All the other restaurants at the resort are closed until the winter.  When I asked the desk staff if any places deliver around the resort, they were clueless, actually less than clueless.  For personnel who live here wouldn’t you like know the area and what delivers.  A google search didn’t help.  
Also, the resort could care less who comes here as the entire hotel was evacuated due to a smoke machine setting off the fire alarms due to a party happening in the garage ball room.  
If you are thinking about coming here in the off season, think twice as this place sucks. If I could have given a zero score I would have.

This place sucks

Room was not ready on time.  No estimate of when it would be ready.  Parking lot unplowed after a recent storm.  There was  no place to park.....it's a ski area and snow is a problem????  Staying there was to be a special event. Hotel rate was top dollar, so we expected things to be under control.   We gave up, demanded a no penalty cancellation, and went home.

Poor Management

Decent ski in / ski out location with comfortable rooms. The rooms are basic but the beds and linens are clean and comfortable. The room we  had did not have a kitchen/balcony just a 2 beds, a desk, coffee pot with tea, coffee, hot cocoa packets but other rooms do have kitchen and balcony. It’s great for all ages. They have a nice pool and two hot tubs that overlook the slopes, steam, sauna, gym, peloton room, spa, and arcade for kids. It’s pretty quiet after 10. Pub restaurant was ok for food/drinks. They also have a deli with breakfast/lunch as well as  pro shop for gear and rentals. Ski check was quick and easy! Quick walk to the lifts from the ski check. Valet parking is included but is always very busy especially on around Sunday check out time but they do their best. On Saturday they had live music in the lobby, s’mores on the back patio, and movie nights on property but might vary based on time of the year. Pro tip: bring reusable cup for water/soda water machine and espresso/coffee machine in lobby. Also pack a cooler with snacks and such. 

Nice Ski in/ Ski out Resort

Great ski in / ski out location and comfortable rooms. The beds and linens are clean and comfortable. The rooms have individual heaters and some have a kitchen and balcony. It’s great for all ages. Everything is well maintained; but in fairness is pretty quiet after 10. They have a nice pool and two hot tubs, steam, sauna, gym, Pelatons, massage/spa, snowshoeing, arcade. I’ve also been in the summer and it’s really nice then too!

Everything you could want within a 2-3 hour drive 

Great skiing but the hotel is severely dated. The dining options are only fair and the bar is subpar, but the thing that is so glaringly poor about this hotel is the internet - in this age everything runs through the internet - everything - but this hotel is stuck in some sort of dial-up pre-2000 version of the internet that frustrates at every turn and never ever satisfies. Please, for the love of humanity, upgrade this awful wireless infrastructure.

Retro Internet

They used to hold your luggage on day of departure. The reason this was helpful is because self-park is extremely limited and valet parking is usually required. So as my family members woke up they’d drop luggage in lobby then conveniently walk out to slopes. I was told they ended this policy because people were changing in the storage room and going thru others peoples stuff. So now - before skiing - u need to have them bring your car, load your car w luggage, and they return your car to the valet lot - so multiple start times for family members on check out day could mean multiple fetching of car. And multiple tipping to valet - this is ridiculous. Wouldn’t it have been easier to give people their checked luggage and not let the guests into the storage room anymore? Or have a conference room  set aside where people could go and repack and shuffle their stuff away from others people stuff? A nightmare on departure day. This alone takes away a major convenience of slopeside. They also no longer have complimentary coffee in the morning in the common areas and the coffee supplies in the room is enough for one cup. Next trip I stay at nutmeg with its reasonable prices and fantastic breakfast or the sawmill or any number of other charming places in Dover or Wilmington that has much better customer service policies.

The staff - everyone I encountered - is absolutely wonderful. But I’m running out of reasons to pay slope-side premium.

Yes, great location but nothing else.  No ambiance, no vibe and quiet.  Skiing good. Hotel marginal. Have to leave to have good food and unwind after skiing anyway so, why stay here!?  Surprised this is in the Epic group. 

Disappointing. 

if you ski or bike at Mt.Snow, this the ONLY place to stay.  Truly ski-in and ski-out.  Nothing is closer; not even the preferred parking.  The rooms have fully equipped kitchens so you can go back for lunch and eat breakfast and dinner in your room.  There is a conference center and nice pool.  the staff is excellent and quick to fix any problem.
