The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. But the TV and some of the lights didn’t work. I went out at 7 AM to ask when breakfast was, and was told it’s only on weekends. This should be made clear up front. Price is right and the place is convenient to the Norman Rockwell Museum.

Adequate

Incredibly moldy and musty odor hits you as you enter the room. Took some effort when arrived home to get the odor out of my cpap device and clothing.  Entire facility and room were in disrepair. Get what you pay for. Never again. Do your research folks.

Musty room and lack of upgrades obvious. . Couldn’t wait for morning

Last night while driving home from Albany after visiting my dying brother in law we drive directly into a snow storm in Massachusetts. It was almost white out conditions. We were very anxious about continuing out ride home in these conditions. We decide that we would try and get a room and then finish our ride home in the morning. We first tried to stay at the Berskshire Travel Lodge. They had on their no vacancy sign but we pulled in and called anyway just incase maybe there was a room available. We were connected to a booking agent, unfortunately he was no able to get us a room at the Berkshire Travel Lodge but 10 minutes away their were rooms available at this dump. We were hesitant because this place is pretty bad with awful reviews, but we decided that our safety was more important and we could slum it for the night. We arrived at 10:50pm, the sign says lobby is open until 11pm. I ring the door bell for service and a man comes to the window. He's rude from the start. He asked me what I want and I said we'd like a room please. Now mind you it snowing out like crazy, he looks at my Hispanic husband and then says we're closed. I said "Oh but your sign says the lobby is open for another 10 minutes" He again says " we are closed" At this point I'm super annoyed and just said "Are you serious?" and start to walk away. He then yells to me " How many nights?" At this poiny my husband yells from the car "Thought you were closed" At this point I wouldn't have stayed here if you paid me too. We pulled in out of desperation but thank God as soon as we got into Great Barrington it was barely snowing and we were able to make it home. I will make it my mission to let as many people as possible know about how we were treated while trying to get out of this storm by this jerk!! Stay away from this grimey ass dump!

We have been coming here for a long time, 3 or 4 times every summer.  It is 3 C’s——clean, convenient, cost is affordable (for the Berkshires).  Centrally located to all adjacent towns.  Basic breakfast on the porch, enough to tide us over  (we are very early risers) till we go into town much later for brunch. Beautiful, it’s not.  Clean and convenient, it is.

Great location.  Nick, the owner is very nice to us.

This motel is the ultimate dive, hole in the ground that the Board of Health and the town of Stockbridge needs to take a look at!

The dated, frumpy, dark room appearance is the least of concerns - carpets are grimy, windows are grimy, air condition unit is broken, door is broken and grimy - none of the locks worked (dead bolt or regular doorknob did not lock), so we relied on the "safety" provided by the  flimsy door chain -  we got back late at night, and no one was available to address this; smell in room is putrid (from the carpet? the curtains?)

Th so called "included" breakfast does not exist - it is presented outside the front door (which is always locked having a small opening for check in) and consisted of one banana, an empty orange juice jug, and a Walmart box of the small muffins, only two left - this was at 8:00AM - no one around - we left - needless to say, never, ever we will return -

Hole in the Ground

There is no longer a swimming pool. Hotel is very run down, old smelling, beds are very stiff. "Breakfast" is left outside very stale. Deft not worth the $200+ to stay there. We chose the location for a pool. Very disappointed.

I have come here several times throughout the years. Mike and family do a very good job running a clean, budget motel. The place is not brand new, some amenities are dated, but the place is a great, clean, and safe motel to stay at. The beds are good and rooms have a microwave and small fridge. Wifi is free. Check out this hidden gem that is locally owned and operated. I highly recommend. 

Locally owned, Clean well appointed and friendly staff. A hidden gem in Stockbridge. 

Paper peeling off the walls.  Brown blood on box spring.  Overpowering odor when you first open the door.  After a few minutes, it passes.  Google the address.  It is for sale.  Be aware of this before you pay.  No water in pool. Very convenient location.  Room has hair dryer, iron, ironing board, WiFi.

Motel has been listed for sale since 2018.  Be careful you don’t lose your money.

We had this " motel " if it is fit to be called that booked as part of a road trip. We stayed just long enough to use the internet to book alternative. Not sure when this place wss last cleaned or aired out....bath filthy, dead insects on heating units and inside light fittings  wallpaper peeling off the walls, blood on pillows, carpet damp and sticky....just a few of the faults we found.....Also heating is controlled from the office!!! And the continental breakfast would be found on the porch? Honestly never seen anything like this....Shame there isn't a zero option.

Public Health Hazard Avoid at All Costs

Good location, room was ok but not great, breakfast was served outside the motel on table (donuts, milk, cereal). Wifi worked good. Would probably spend the extra money next time and move to a nicer hotel.  If you are looking for a warm place with no frill, you have found your place. Price was ok, but found out I paid ~$20 too much by booking early, vs if I would have just paid the room rate the night I arrived. When I mentioned this to the mgr, he said it was too late and I was locked in on the price I was quoted.
